Pausing the zombie dinsion, I headed back ho to see the two cutest things in the world trying to surprise attack , and so, using my acting skill to its maximum potential, I faked surprise.
" ATTACK," Mary shouted, and Laura followed her orders.
Grabbing one of my legs, she makes sure I am not able to move away as a small portal opens above my head a bucket of water drenches .
Aside from the fact that I am going to need to dry clothes, I am more surprised by what my magical sense was telling : Mary had just opened a portal, a small one, but still a portal.
Emanating a warm wave of air from my body, I dried all my clothes, placed Laura on my shoulder, and rushed to Mary to hug her.
" YOU USED MAGIC," I shouted in excitent.
She giggled and hugged back, and in two of her little fingers, the cold sensation of the sling ring.
" Grandpa taught ."
My eyes moved towards the direction where a portal was about to open, and out of it, Yao walked with a smile and a cup of tea.
" She needed less ti than you did."
" No Mount Everest, correct?"
I am quite sure even Yao shivered for a second when my smiling eyes looked at him as I asked the question.
" Of course not, also, you rember that she has clothes that prevent damage from climatic shifts, right?"
" Those are to prevent dangers, not face them."
I could feel soone tapping my neck, so I placed Mary down and grabbed Laura in a hug. There will be no jealousy in this household until I am alive.
" Look," Laura said, before two blades ca out of her knuckles; her eyes didn't flinch in pain, so she might have trained behind my back to try and impress .
"Good job, next ti though make sure there is an adult when you want to use these things, ok?"
" But Grandpa was there," Mary said.
Once again, Yao shivered when he saw my smile, but he looked away and took a sip from his tea.
" I swear to myself I will one day slap that bald head."
He looked at and mouthed "try ".
I rolled my eyes and just as I was about to say sothing, I felt it in my bones.
Yao moved before I did, as a magical projection of the centre of New York appeared right in front of us, and I covered both Mary and Laura's eyes, predicting what we were going to see, while also creating air pockets around their ears to keep them from hearing the
"AHHHHHHHHH"
-screams
Shouts of agony as chanical serpents and aliens made buildings collapse and killed people.
My control over all my mana shivered, and an almost animalistic growl ca from the air around as the life of this planet shouted in anger at the attack from soone who doesn't belong here.
And as I proved, when people fuck with MY planet, I am the consequence.
I moved before Mary and Laura noticed. I erased my body; in less than a second, I was already above New York. The constant feeling of hearts stopping, and lives disappearing made my anger spike, Gar's mind doing its thing in letting think clearly, but still allowing to know how I feel.
Thanks, my heightened perception of ti, I saw several heroes fight tooth and nail to protect as many civilians or destroy as many aliens as they could.
Daredevil, Hulk, Luke Cage, Spider-Man, Captain Arica, Black Widow, and several others.
Letting my body fall, I make sure to use everything in my arsenal, all passives already working in overdrive to push my body beyond the limit set by my stats, my hands moving nonstop as I cast more and more spells, and weaved enough mana to kill any normal sorcerer twice because of mana intoxication.
Building reconstructed itself thanks to my earth mana, people seemingly ca back to perfect health thanks to blood mana, trees stopped falling debris thanks to nature mana, fires decided to avoid civilians and heroes, and only attack aliens thanks to fire mana, portals opened to prevent shots fired from the aliens from ever reaching, thanks to dinsional mana, and the few aliens that were close enough found their bodily organs replaced with bananas thanks to an overuse of chaos mana.
My brain was working like never before as I used everything in my arsenal to save as many lives as I could. As I continued falling, more people noticed my presence, and just as I was about to crush myself against one of the flying serpents flying in the air, an enormous construct made of mana ford around my hands, shaped like a hand, and I caught the serpent and tore it in two, killing all the aliens that were inside of it.
My mana pulsed in waves as my anger fueled it, making all the aliens near enough to shiver in fear.
Landing right next to Captain Arica, I touched his shoulder, healing all the damage he had suffered until now, way faster than by simply being near .
" What's going on? I was gone for 1 day."
"Asgardians' family troubles brought this."
" Thor did this?"
" No, his brother, Loki."
" The horse fucker?"
He looked at strangely; he might not know the tale behind Odin's eight-legged horse.
" Where is he now?" He pointed at the Stark Tower, and I laughed when I saw Hulk smashing Loki to the ground when he had tried to talk him down with arrogance.
I even saw She-Hulk grab Loki when Hulk threw him and smash him against the wall several tis, nice one, girl.
I nodded towards Cap and flew back in the air, very close to the portals.
" You know why I am here." I talked to no one in particular, but the portal shivered in fear as they felt my mana close to them.
The ones who were unlucky enough to be going through the portal at that mont had their body sliced in two as the portal closed in an instant.
I didn't even have to use mana, my connection to dinsional mana being enough.
Now there was only one last thing to do: clean up.
