To answer her question, my body began emitting heat, the kind that makes muscles relax and your soul heal, not the kind that burns people, which helped considering how the Christmas period was coming closer and closer.
" You are a monster," Agatha said to when seeing my eyes and hair turn a light shade of red, almost orange.
Laura began growling when she heard the words, but it turned into a purr when I placed my hand on her hand and focused more heat on her, making her relax even more.
" How about you girls go play with Yao? I am sure he'd like to have his hair just like Wanda."

" Are you sure about this? It could be dangerous." Wanda, the apprehensive mother that she is, asked .
" I have to, you don't know how it feels to see the mana around her try to fit in that body and being unable to, though she might seem fine, her soul is slowly rejecting her body, and I am not sure how long she will last."
" No help needed?" That ca from Agatha, which surprised us both.
" Hey, I don't want our source of power to die."
" You care," I say while placing a hand on my heart as a tear cos out of my left eye.
" Fuck off." Agatha showed the middle finger and then disappeared, though I could still feel her mana signature around, most likely trying to hear our discussion.
" Anyway, no, I most likely won't need help; the hard part will be convincing the other mutants their help is also not required."
" You know that you don't have to do it alone?"
" I do, but I am just used to it, and I am not alone, I will never be." I smiled, the new mana fueling my body, giving a new warmth to my smile that made even the coldest souls flinch.

Wanda shook her head and turned around, walking away to search for the two hairdressers.
