I could feel it; death was attached to this man, to a level I had never seen before. It wanted to claim him; it wanted to collect a debt it was due, actually, even the madman I had killed felt like that, and most of the others near the scowling man felt the sa.

" Who are you?" The voice ca out ragged as I felt him move his hand for another of the things he had thrown. This felt different, though, made with a material that tried to repel my control over it, and could have actually hurt if it had hit.

The scowling man's brows furrowed even more, if that was possible, as he felt the object in his hand disappear. He looked at , and he saw look at it, my eyes flashing with a blue clock symbol, using my ability to see the tiline to study it.

" Nth tal? Fascinating, capable of hurting beings of pure mana and defy gravity, mhhh."

With a wave of my hand, I focused a quarter of my mana to produce a chunk of the material, a cube that weighed nothing even though it had the sa density as a diamond.

I placed the cube in the inventory, pondering over a possible artifact I could give to my family.

" Thanks for the discovery. I will take this as a paynt for throwing the sharp object at ."

" It was supposed to hit you." A man with a red mask said, I could feel the bullets inside of his gun being switched to the sa material, actually, most of the people that were "hiding" from had switched to so form of weapon made with it.

" Before you go and try to kill ? Arrest ? Still not sure about your morality-" I had checked, they were good guys, maybe even too good.

" Can I send these kids ho? I am quite sure their parents are worried."

" How about you let us take the kids?" Another guy, wearing black and blue and with two batons, asked.

I spun towards the kids, my voice morphing into one of pure kindness, my voice fueled by a mix of nature, fire, and vitality, sounding like the warmth of the sun made sound. I made sure to create a much brighter light above us to make sure the kids could see and make their decision.

" Go ahead, kids, the heroes will now take you to your parents, and be sure not listen to clowns next ti, worst thing in the world, am I right?"

So of the kids snickered, the mix of the much brighter room, my voice, and the innocence of the kids making them feel much better quite quickly.

They started moving; they seed to recognize the group. So of the kids, though, made sure to hug before going.

" Are you god?" A blind kid asked , my face cringing at the question, I was recognized as one, but I am sure that is not the answer she was looking for.

Patting all of the kids for a little space, I went down on a knee, my hand placed over her eyes, when I removed it, bright green eyes could be seen. I made sure to lower the light, not wanting to hurt the newly healed eyes.

" Do I look like one?" I asked with a smile, considering I was in my casual attire and with just my blue hair, I was expecting a no, but I seed to be wrong instead.

"... You are beautiful." The little girl smiled and hugged , tears pooling in her eyes as the realization that she could see again hit her.

The room remained silent for a few more seconds as I let her cry on my shoulder, then I made the kids go to the dark and broody group, so of the group heading with the outside, I heard them call soone called Gordon and telling him the kids were safe, and "Joker" was dead, quite a fitting na for a clown villain.

" What did you do to Joker?" The scowling man asked, his body as tense as a rope as he waited for the answer.

" How many has he killed over the years?" I asked him.

He didn't answer, but his expression said it all.

" Sotis there is no other solution but death. I have healed billions of people, saw the best and worst of humanity, healed people that didn't deserve it, but turned for the better after receving an helping hand. Still, sotis sickness requires a stronger cure; you don't fight cancer with pills and good words, you erase it. That is what Death requested, and that is what Death received."

" You are not a judge, you can-" A feminine voice was about to say, but then the world snapped.

The planet trembled as my anger spiked. Was that all? The reason that stopped them from erasing a cancer like that was that there was no jury or judge?

In this enclosed space of the warehouse, the world changed under my anger, the ground trembled, the blood froze, the temperature rose, and the flowers that had survived the concrete turned into full-blown trees.

" You are wrong, my dear Stephanie Brown-"

The casual drop of her real na didn't go unnoticed.

"- I have seen enough, know enough, and am capable enough to beco jury, judge, and the executioner itself. That thing you call Joker had stopped being a human years ago, but you were too stuck in your own morality to see it. I can see the good in you all. I know you have helped this city far more than it deserved, but what this city needs isn't a protector of the weak; the weak have stopped existing in this city; What has remained is only a mass of cancerous cells that can't be fought with good intentions and politics. It needs to be burned from the root."

I disappeared in front of them, the discussion already finished, for I already knew that they were too stubborn to see reason. I had other business to deal with, people to help, and cancers to remove; the night was still long.
