The chaotic attacks of the Elental Spirits failed to uncover the Knight at first, but they caused considerable damage to nearby allies.
One of the fire elentals even self-destructed under orders, failing to blow up Knight Puki but instead shattering the Earth Elental beside it.
Well, even without eting, Lin Jun gained so understanding of the Fire Elental Lord’s ntal state.
Although Lin Jun avoided being discovered imdiately thanks to his excellent maneuvering and a bit of luck, exposure seed inevitable given the situation.
The distance wasn’t far; Knight Puki simply charged boldly inside.
Puki Puki—
The noise quickly caught the attention of nearby Elental Spirits, and attacks followed one after another, almost sealing off all escape routes.
Knight Puki rolled into a ball and descended swiftly, increasing his speed.
A wave of a tentacle disbanded two blocking fire elentals temporarily, allowing Knight Puki to roll into the Fire Elental Lord’s territory.
The scene was truly spectacular; it was an enormous subterranean void with a center marked by a magma lake of indeterminable diater, constantly bubbling and releasing torrents of heat.
Above the lake stood a colossal entity!
A massive figure constructed purely from flas, its contours ceaselessly twisting, expanding, and contracting, with each transformation triggering violent fluctuations in the space’s temperature and magic power.
Embedded in its chest was a large tal ring adorned with faded runes, eight parts similar to the broken ring Lin Jun saw in the Tide Sanctuary.
Behind it, at the end of the magma lake, a door was embedded in the rock wall.
Unexpectedly "small," the door stood only seven or eight ters tall, appearing sowhat out of place compared to the vast magma lake and the formidable Fire Elental Lord.
But Lin Jun knew that behind that seemingly insignificant door lay the true heart of this Underground City.
His goal wasn’t the core; he simply sought to confirm the appearance of the Fire Elental Lord firsthand.
As Lin Jun barged in, the Fire Elental Lord noticed this tiny figure.
"A Demon? You’re not a Dwarf?!"
"What are you here for?"
"No matter what you intend to do, be obliterated!"
Fla-ford facial features twisted into an approximation of features, showing surprise and confusion, quickly replaced by overwhelming fury.
Emotions shifted dramatically instantly, leaving no room for conversation.
The Fire Elental Lord didn’t wait for Lin Jun’s response, raising a massive wave of blazing magma towards the diminutive Knight Puki at the entrance!
Knight Puki turned to flee, but the Fire Elental Lord outpaced him, transforming Puki’s path into a sea of flas.
"You can’t escape. I forbid you to flee! Anyone daring to intrude in my domain must die!"
Right under its nose, the Knight rolled into the burning passage and dispersed the two fire elentals who had just regained their flaming forms.
Though his pristine body was charred black, Knight Puki’s full-level resistance allowed him to pass through the tunnel.
"Roar—!"
The Fire Elental Lord erupted with a deafening roar, its massive form lunging forward, with flaming arms extended to grab the tiny figure. Yet, as its imnse hand approached the passage’s edge, the giant tal ring embedded in its chest emitted a piercing hum! Countless dim runes simultaneously brightened, releasing intense fluctuations.
"Ahhh!"
As though wounded, the Fire Elental Lord’s entire arm’s flas flickered, its body twisted with agony, emitting a sharp scream.
It was forced to withdraw its arm, and during this pause, Knight Puki had already vanished from its sight.
"Kill it! Pursue it! Crush that bug!" Furious ntal roars swept across the entire Underground City.
The fire elentals fiercely battling the Dwarf soldiers at the entrance simultaneously paused, abandoning their current enemies to rush towards the Underground City, leaving a group of confused Dwarf soldiers gazing at each other.
Two days later, Knight Puki found the delegation’s location in the city of Forging Fire.
"Finally back; I worried you’d get lost!" Inanna happily picked up Knight Puki, then questioned while observing Puki, "Why do you look whiter?"

Honestly, Lin Jun was surprised Knight Puki managed to get out.
It was largely thanks to the Fire Elental Lord’s ntal instability.
When Lin Jun glanced at it before running away, it imdiately issued a chase order, followed by one directive after another echoing throughout the Underground City.
Though Lin Jun couldn’t decipher the specific contents of these orders, he saw the elents alternatively attacking everywhere in search of the Knight, then collectively rushing to the door, later retreating to block strategic spots.
Clearly, many of the commands given by the Fire Elental were quite contradictory, anwhile the Dwarves seized the opportunity to reclaim the Underground City entrance and tentatively attack inside.
With multiple factors at play, Lin Jun remarkably managed to withdraw Knight Puki.
Even if lost, it wouldn’t be a major problem, but with an S-Class Demon Crystal inside, saving it would be prudent.
After all, if you don’t manage a ho, you won’t know the cost of essentials!
Now, besides Mushroom Garden Puki needing high-tier crystals, it added Little Pig as a demanding spender.
It also required an S-Class Demon Crystal set for Demon Crystal armor, which might not be used but shouldn’t be absent as a trump card.
And this ti, Lin Jun obtained the answer he sought.
This Fire Elental Lord likewise lacks a soul!
The answer was sowhat unexpected to Lin Jun.
Despite the Fire Elental Lord being ntally unstable and seemingly not highly intelligent, it could speak and exhibited rich emotions.
If Lin Jun were categorizing, it would surely belong among the intelligent life forms.
Yet it also had no soul!
However, under the [Inspiration] perspective, it wasn’t rely a grey matter aggregate; at its core, a sowhat ethereal core coalesced.
This existence lacking a soul yet possessing a central form bore seven parts resemblance to the Yellow-covered Book.
Artificial?
The origin of the Underground City and these guardians evidently hid nurous secrets, but regardless of the community’s literature, docuntation of the creation of the Underground City only included ti, location, impact and so unsupported speculations.
No one could definitively state who created them or their purpose.
The only one who might discern these truths, the Divine Wood, remained annoyingly cryptic old Deng!
The more Lin Jun contemplated, the more frustrated he beca, ntally marking a new grievance against the Divine Wood.
The negotiations had comnced, much as Lin Jun anticipated.
The delegation did not promptly request the sealing thod for the Elental Lord.
Rather, after witnessing Inanna’s ability to control Elental Spirits, the Dwarves casually ntioned the Molten Fire Dungeon calamity several tis, clearly aiming to leverage Inanna’s power.
This enabled Ronan and the delegation to wield considerable leverage in the talks.
However, having witnessed the Fire Elental Lord’s insane deanor, Lin Jun faced a new quandary.
Although Pink Puki’s [Elental Spirit’s Favor] was incredibly effective, akin to mass brainwashing, could it influence the intelligent Fire Elental Lord?
If it couldn’t, or only partially worked without full control, Pink Puki would land in danger.
Knight escaping after seeing the opponent relied on maintaining so distance, and Lin Jun promptly withdrew after a glance, even then suffering fiery terrain damage to barely escape.
If Pink Puki were to go, in the worst scenario, Lin Jun might not even get the chance to dismantle him.
Such consideration painted a dire picture!
To abandon the opportunity to control the Fire Elental Lord, and instead focus solely on requesting information about sealing?
Lin Jun resolved to first accompany the delegation in eting the Dwarves’ leaders tomorrow before deciding on further steps.
