"I have always opposed any plans to directly infiltrate the Forbidden City, because these plans are a complete waste of ti." He spoke with disbelief, as if Sofia’s previous plans were sheer madness: "That’s the Forbidden City! Sir, you might not know what that place is like, but I know that going there is a path to certain death."

"That place is the center of the entire Tang Country, it’s as large as a city. Even with a map, it’s not easy to find where Tang Mo is once inside." He seed to be asking Sofia, yet it was like talking to himself: "Just the Imperial Guards patrolling and guarding the Forbidden City are enough to make anyone feel hopeless."

"What’s more..." He lowered his voice, as if revealing an unspeakable secret: "What’s more, I’ve heard there are so high-tech devices there that have never been used outside. We might trigger an alarm unexpectedly."

"I’m not questioning your ability, sir, but with our people, it’s really hard to break through the layers of defenses to enter the Forbidden City." He shook his head, his tone filled with bitterness: "I could even say, being able to reach those vermilion walls, touching the vermilion paint, and then safely returning would be sothing you could boast about for a lifeti."

"You’re saying..." Sofia’s voice elongated, and a subtle glow flashed in her blue eyes. Clearly, compared to the previous bold and almost crazy plan, she was more interested in this so-called third plan. She didn’t mind her subordinate’s tone of disagreent, instead slightly raised one of her ticulously grood eyebrows, her tone carrying a hint of curiosity and inquiry: "...the third plan is feasible?"

"Yes, sir. At least it’s more feasible than the first plan!" The operative who had been lurking in Chang’an, Sofia’s informant known as ’Nails,’ saw that Sofia finally showed interest in the third plan and imdiately perked up to reply: "Although I’ve never t Tang Mo, we can speculate on his current psychological state."

He paused and organized his thoughts before continuing: "From my judgnt, although Tang Mo is very capable, he has a fatal weakness, which is..."

He deliberately paused to pique Sofia’s curiosity and then lowered his voice, saying slowly: "That he’s too young. Achieving such great success at a young age, anyone... would beco arrogant."

"Sir, just think about it, he’s just unified the entire world, he’s at a ti when he’s incredibly proud and likely to lose his sense of caution." His tone carried a hint of certainty, as if he already foresaw Tang Mo’s future: "In such a situation, he is sure to hold a grand coronation ceremony to announce his victory and glory to the world."

As he spoke, he beca more and more excited, as if he had already seen the mont of success: "Just wait for that ti, and we will have our opportunity!"

He excitedly waved his arms, as if he could already foresee that scene’s arrival: "Imagine, when he stands on a high platform under the eyes of all, basking in the peak of power, receiving cheers and worship from the world, we..."

He purposefully lowered his voice, a cruel smile forming at the corner of his mouth: "Give him a ’gift’ he’ll never forget for the rest of his life!"

He slamd his palm forcefully on a map, producing a dull sound: "By then, he will surely be surrounded by dignitaries from around the world. To showcase his kindness and generosity, he will command the guards to relax vigilance, might even allow so civilians to approach, to display his so-called ’popular’ image."

He glanced at Sofia, then at Sofia’s burly henchman, his tone dripping with confidence: "And this, is our chance!"

"At that ti, he will surely have left the shell that is the heavily guarded Forbidden City, even if defense forces remain difficult to handle, the places they need to guard widen." In his mind, acting outside clearly had a higher success rate than attempting suicide inside the Forbidden City: "We stay hidden in dark corners, there must be a chance!"

"Sniping?" The strong man, adept at sniping, though he looked like a brawler, was actually more proficient with firearms. Hence, when Sofia thought of this plan, she imdiately looked towards the strong man.

The strong man nodded. Compared to sneaking into the Forbidden City, he felt ambushing from afar with a sniper rifle was clearly a more successful thod: "Sniping is also a good choice. As long as he appears publicly, I’m confident in hitting him from around 300 ters away!"

"No... Not safe! If he’s wearing a bulletproof vest, or if your shot misses even slightly, we won’t have a second chance like this." Sofia quickly negated this idea. She had only one chance, so she couldn’t afford to waste it.

"Indeed, if you miss, we won’t have such a good opportunity again." Nails, hiding in Chang’an, also looked at the strong man and shook his head.

"Then, how about another backup plan?" The strong man hesitated and proposed a new idea.

"Bomb?" Sofia’s eyes lit up.

’Nails’ nodded and said: "Yes! Bomb! We can do so work at the place of his coronation, bury bombs there! So, if I fail to shoot and kill him, you can also detonate the bombs to send him off completely!"

"But, if we can plant bombs at his coronation place in advance, wouldn’t setting you up as a sniper be redundant?" Sofia considered a problem, furrowing her elegant brows.

"I’m just backup. In case sothing goes wrong, they won’t expect hidden in the shadows." The strong man imdiately answered his boss’s query.

"You’re right... Two plans... executed simultaneously! They definitely won’t guess I’d arrange it this way." Sofia nodded contentedly, refining the plan further. Two parallel sches, without intersection, ant no exposure.

She looked at the strong man and gave instructions: "From today onwards! You act alone; if contact isn’t necessary, then we avoid it... Even if soone gets caught, the others must fulfill their mission!"

"Understood." The strong man imdiately nodded; his task was relatively simple, just obtaining a high-precision sniper rifle and finding a vantage point with a good view was all. Confident that the target couldn’t escape his deadly shot, as long as given the chance to fire, Tang Mo would be finished!

"Yes, Sir!" ’Nails’ also nodded. He was quite satisfied with persuading Sofia not to gamble in the Forbidden City, but the next matter was to figure out how to plant bombs at the Emperor of the Great Tang Empire’s coronation for Master of the World.

Sofia generously made her promise: "I will deposit 50 million Gold Coins into the agreed account. Once the task is complete, this money will guarantee you a life of luxury! For our ideals! To kill Tang Mo! To restore the world to normalcy!"

"Kill Tang Mo!" Sure enough, the strong man’s enthusiasm seed ignited. Though they stood by Sofia not rely for money, but who would mind having more money.

"Kill Tang Mo!" Nails also appeared excited, not only aiming to wreak havoc in Chang’an but also securing so money for his future...
