Capítulo 1842: Chapter 1759: The Truth Behind the Incident

One of the Elf’s industrial cities, the forr capital of the Songmu Kingdom, its streets not particularly spacious, a male Elf in a trench coat walked forward with his hands in his pockets, head lowered.

On the nearly deserted streets, there were closed shops everywhere. Those once stylish floor-to-ceiling windows are now boarded up: the whole city is desolate, people’s lives have completely changed.

The man pulled his left hand out of his pocket as he walked and checked the ti on his wristwatch. Then he stopped at a secluded corner, pointing a flashlight-sized device at a building in the distance.

This building was located at the junction of the suburb and the city, a massive factory with important chanical production equipnt inside. With these production facilities, the Elves could produce more tanks.

For the Elves, this factory was very important because, if there were any problems, many tank production lines would follow suit.

At that mont, outside the factory wall, the Elf man pointing the device at the factory,

This was his job; he had been working for the Great Tang Empire for over ten years and received a hefty salary from his superiors every month. Now was the ti to prove his worth.

Unseen, a precision-guided bomb was flying, its guidance head had detected the special light from the ground, keenly capturing the target it was searching for.

The glide wing began to work, adjusting the air flow around the bomb, changing its flight path. It got closer and closer to the target and finally hit the massive building accurately, exploding inside.

The terrifying shock waves swept through the entire building, the high pressure from the explosion instantly taking out all life within its range. In just a mont, there were hardly any surviving people left in the busy building.

All the windows of the building shattered in the explosion, thick smoke billowed from every crevice, flas engulfed the roof, and within minutes, the remaining part of the building collapsed again.

It took only a few seconds for the Elf Race’s factory to be completely destroyed. The workers inside were dead or injured, and the machinery inside was thoroughly destroyed, beyond repair.

The accuracy of this bomb was astonishing, no one could predict that the Great Tang Empire’s attack would be so precise, not even affecting the factory wall not far away.

It was only then that the air raid alarm sounded, the shrill siren echoing in the streets, and the male Elf in the trench coat had long left the dangerous alley, hands in his pockets, disappearing at the end of the street.

Minutes later, a fire truck passed by, and firefighters on either side of the vehicle jumped down as it slowed. They rushed toward the explosion site with firefighting equipnt, trying to salvage what they could.

Unfortunately, the smoking building had long lost its shape, their task now was reduced to finding the bodies of those poor workers in the rubble.

Of course, the Great Tang Empire couldn’t suddenly advance its technology to a whole new level, there was a reason why their bombs were becoming more accurate.

Tang Country’s intelligence agency, Silver Fox, activated spies previously planted dostically in various countries on the Eastern Continent, having them coordinate with the Tang Army’s airstrikes, using ground guidance to enhance the Tang Army’s bomb strike precision.

With those spies guiding on the ground, those guided bombs naturally could have enviable hit accuracy: if the Tang Army needed, they could even have several such bombs hit the sa point of a target.

By simply using a laser pointer to aim at the building they want to attack, those bombs descending from the sky could strike these targets without deviation, ensuring a kill with one blow and complete destruction.

Even though the number of Tang Country spies in the Elf Controlled Area was not many, they could still accomplish many things. This was why the Tang Army’s precise bombing always achieved astonishing results.

In the past few days, the Tang Country Air Force only needed about two bombs to destroy a bridge on average. Such statistics were enough to make the Dwarf high command tremble: they were more worried that one day, the Tang Army would blow their bunkers sky-high.

The Elf engineers originally believed that the missiles used by the Tang Army must have employed so terrifying cutting-edge technology, and the price must be very expensive, so the quantity of Tang Army equipnt couldn’t be large.

This inference indeed made sense: at least within the Ice Cold Empire, the Tang Army rarely used precision-guided munitions, or rather, the usage proportion of precision-guided munitions was relatively low.

But now, this conclusion seems to be overturned: the Tang Army is massively using precision-guided weapons, which is enough to give the Elves a headache.

“This month’s tank production capacity is definitely going to decrease… probably, only 75 units can be produced. This number might not even cover the losses on the Hotwind Port front line.” The Minister of Industry of the Poplar Empire mournfully handed a report to the Elf’s Pri Minister.

After the Elf Pri Minister put down his work and looked up at him, the Minister of Industry continued: “Just recently, the No. 3 production workshop of one of our most important tank factories in Pine Wood City was bombed. Soon, we will be like the Dwarves, unable to produce a new tank in a week!”

“I know you have tried your best, but you still have to try harder! No matter what, find a way to restore production… this is your duty!” The Pri Minister encouraged the Minister of Industry: “Your Majesty is preparing two new army groups, and there’s a significant shortage of heavy weaponry, you must increase production capacity enough next month to et the needs of military expansion.”

“That’s impossible! It can’t be done even if it kills .” The Minister of Industry shook his head and waved his hands imdiately upon hearing the Pri Minister’s request. Kidding, if he had the skill to increase factory production under Tang Army bombardnt, he would be world-famous.

“I know it’s hard, but you must do it!” the Pri Minister spoke earnestly, getting up and walking to the Minister of Industry’s side, patting him on the shoulder: “We don’t have Duke Leibert’s luck… so we can only rely on ourselves.”

Although everyone in Poplar Empire knew Duke Leibert had close dealings with the Great Tang Empire, even with the war advancing to this extent, Duke Leibert still hadn’t been captured, which is why the Poplar Empire’s Pri Minister said so…
