Building houses in winter isn’t the most wise choice, so the Great Tang Empire’s construction work on the Eastern Continent has basically co to a halt.

However, this doesn’t an all prisoners are idly doing nothing: they need to help transport and sort goods, and also build refugee shelters in many places.

War has brought massive trauma to this land, even though the Great Tang Empire has strived to avoid it, these traumas are enough to bring countless sufferings to the people here.

Whenever a shell falls, it results in tears. Such things cannot be avoided, so the Great Tang Empire must take responsibility and use ti to soothe the people here.

Snowflakes have started drifting down at Hotwind Port, yet they cannot disguise the fact that recovery is underway here. Aunt Curley walks on the street, seeing yet another batch of cars driving out of the port.

She doesn’t need to be too professional to recognize that these cars do not originate from the Eastern Continent because those car styles are Tang Country’s, and flat-nosed trucks are rare on the Eastern Continent.

In order to improve off-road capability and reduce turning radius, the trucks used by the Great Tang Empire are mostly flat-nosed. Only so countries on the Eastern Continent stick to the truck design with an engine compartnt in front.

Although in a certain sense, both designs have their pros and cons, the truth is flat-nosed trucks are used in more scenarios.

Tang Country has relentlessly tried to construct a rail line heading southward, and it’s the only project that hasn’t paused. This rail line extends from Ben all the way to Eternal Winter City, then south through Saint Luo and finally ends at Hotwind Port.

With this rail line, the Tang Army can quickly deploy troops and transfer materials to more needed directions.

After all, excluding the less safe Hotwind Port, the Eastern Continent’s largest port in terms of throughput is Eternal Winter Port. If a railway can be optimally utilized to maximize Eternal Winter Port’s value, it evidently benefits the Great Tang Empire the most.

Since Curley found out her two children are still alive, her mood has improved greatly. Many people inside Hotwind Port share her sentints; their national consciousness is far from awakening.

Mr. Charlie got promoted; his work capability is decent, and given the lack of officials currently, he naturally received heavy use: civil officials appointed by the Great Tang Empire admire him, thus promoting him to be a chief in a small departnt.

He has three Elf staff under him, and everyone is busy daily, but their salary is good, so no complaints arise.

Originally Curley planned to find a job to earn so money, but since Charlie’s salary increased a bit more, Flan ended up keeping Curley, making her their family’s full-ti nanny.

Flan couldn’t afford such a nanny before, but now she indeed has the ans: the treatnt of Great Tang Empire’s governnt departnts is really quite good; as long as nothing goes wrong, attaining wealth is hopeful.

Moreover, due to work busyness, Charlie returns slightly later every day, and he hopes Curley could stay and accompany Flan more.

The city’s public security has never been this good, it even began to show signs of a society where doors are left open at night: whether in cinemas or other entertainnt venues, neon lights illuminate till dawn. In such an environnt, safety is evidently no longer an issue; what truly matters is identity.

Although not very sensitive, people remain confused; they don’t know what they really are, nor what the Great Tang Empire’s intentions are.

Until today, Curley finally heard news that reassured many: the Great Tang Empire began issuing identity proofs for law-abiding citizens within Hotwind Port, and from today, they beco officially the Great Tang Empire’s "quasi-reserved" citizens.

Of course, there’s no instant citizenship into the Great Tang Empire; one must know that achieving legitimate Tang People status is an opportunity many spend lifetis seeking in vain.

Nonetheless, the Great Tang Empire generously offers everyone a chance: as long as they support Tang Empire’s rule and work within its borders for more than five years, they can obtain citizenship.

Compared to other regions, this condition is relatively lenient. Rumor has it that so Elf Race officials high up in the Great Tang Empire, particularly a high-ranking official nad John, persuaded for a long ti to secure this opportunity.

Everyone is spreading this news, saying that John was once a noble of Poplar Kingdom, later ousted from his family, and has since been in the Tang Group’s service, while his father is the famous Duke Leibert of Poplar Empire.

Another person who contributed was Empress Irene; this Elf Race empress worries about her kin, so she advised His Majesty The Emperor of the Great Tang Empire, imploring him to treat the Elf Race equally.

Many in Hotwind Port praise these compatriots, lauding their efforts for Hotwind Port’s civilians. It’s just that no one ntions that cities like Eternal Winter City and Ben also received similar treatnt.

The Great Tang Empire is constructing a new world, entirely different from the past; Tang Mo certainly wouldn’t play the discrimination against Different Races.

Except for the Goblin who committed grave cris in the Zheng Region, Tang Country has even slightly relaxed the ID approval for Beastn. So Beastn, who are rightfully becoming ’humans’, can legally live within the Great Tang Empire.

Of course, this opening is mainly due to the abundance of cat-girls exported by Beastn to Tang Country, and an Imperial Concubine happens to have cat ears...

Whether Dwarves, Elves, or Orc, whether yellow-haired or black-haired people, theoretically there’s no hierarchy within the Great Tang Empire’s domain.

However, this remains theoretical; in practice, whether discrimination exists, if there’s any hierarchy, must be analyzed specifically case by case. Tang Mo would not impose legal constraints on such matters, nor ban disliking certain types of people—a foolish act he certainly wouldn’t do.

Curley touched the identity proof in her pocket; its special plastic material felt slightly cold, with her photo clearly visible, even the wrinkles distinctly seen.

She knows she now has the motivation to persist; as long as she works honestly, prays sincerely to the gods, her children can return to her one day in the future.

For her, this is enough to give her peace... hope.
