Sett turned to look at a young man, vibrant with energy, who ran towards them with gusto. The man had an above average face, brown hair, a tall stature, and so innate nobility. Most people would consider the way he carried himself as handso.

The young man completely ignored Sett and focused on the two ladies beside him.

"Zainah, oh Zainah!" he said. "I searched for you all day yesterday, but couldn't find you. But when I am without hope, the gods bring you right to ."

Zarah, surprised, just stared at the man.

anwhile Zainah looked at him, not knowing what to do.

"Oh, is this your sister?" He looked at Zarah with surprise. "Ah indeed looks similar." He noticed the muscles on her small fra and his smile beca a bit more prominent. "Is she the one who ate the Tomb Hearts I gave you?"

Zarah scoffed. "I only ate Tomb Hearts that my brother Sett gave , not yours." Imdiately after, she ran behind Sett and hid there.

Sett smiled as he ruffled the young girl's hair.

The man finally turned to Sett, his smile a bit rigid but still there.

"You are?"

Sett didn't answer.

Shining Gold, noticing the tension, realized that they were competing over Zainah's fancy and looked at the scene with the interest of a bystander.

But then, his gaze moved between Sett and the newcor.

From a re looks perspective, Zainah's choice was clear.

Sett was a giant among n when it ca to looks.

But then, Shining Gold's pupils shrank as he examined the prince.

Have I seen this young man sowhere?

The young man put his hand on his chest.

"I am Egrith Psamtik, the Third Prince of Ket. And you are, my friend?"

Gold's heart thudded in his chest.

On the other hand, Sett frowned in displeasure. This was obviously an introduction that was ant to downplay Sett himself.Aafter all, no matter what identity Sett had, it wouldn't match up to a prince.

At least, that was what Egrith thought.

And it was not like Sett could just say the na Ramses when the Gods and that na might play a bigger part later.

He just didn't answer and looked at Zarah.

"Girl, did you not wash your face clearly?"

"Eh, is sothing on my face?"

Zarah touched her face.

"Yeah, too much beauty."

Zarah was taken aback, but then chuckled.

"Big brother, you should wash your face too."

Sett nodded. "Yeah, and sobody else should, too. But for a different reason."

Shining Gold stifled a laugh.

Wasn't Sett basically saying that soone was ugly?

There was an even more brilliant layer to it.

Anyone who reacts angrily to the words would expose themselves as the target, making them look insecure about their own looks. So, the prince could not even react to it.

An awkward silence stretched between them.

Zainah seed the most uncomfortable.

She didn't want to offend a goddamn prince in his own capital city!

anwhile, Egrith fud inwardly while keeping the smile outwardly.

If Sett had said sothing offensive directly to the Prince, the prince could have just used the royal na to punish him for disrespect.

But Sett didn't say that he was talking about the prince, nor were his words truly offensive, so if he reacted to it, it would an that he was a petty man.

And showing himself as petty in front of a woman he wanted to court was impossible.

Zainah was the only one who suffered from all the attention.

She wanted to outright say that she was engaged, that she didn't want anyone else's attention. But that might offend a prince with a whole empire behind him!

Even Sett wouldn't be able to handle that.

In fact, the Prince was a Tier 3 Tomb Raider!

Zainah was not a young lady. She did not have the knowledge of how to handle such a scenario either. Not to ntion, her head was still aching after eating the Tomb Heart—her whole body was uncomfortable, too.

Egrith ignored Sett and focused back on Zainah.

"Miss Zainah, I didn't an to impose. And I do not have much ti to stay and have a long talk with you, either." He seed sincere. "I just want to invite you and your sister to a party at the palace tonight."

Zainah hesitated. She didn't want to offend this random prince—that would definitely cause big trouble. But if she didn't say anything to show that she was already soone else's woman, Sett would surely be hurt.

Wait, will he be hurt?

Sett frowned, feeling an urge to murder.

But as soon as his killing intent leaked slightly, he noticed the Prince smirk at him.

"Soone seems to not have any respect for royalty," the Prince said. "Showing killing intent towards a prince, you sure are bold."

Zainah and Zarah were startled, while Shining Gold slowly moved away from Sett's trio.

Indeed, alliances were fragile.

"Killing intent?" Sett frowned, innocent. "Such a thing exists?"

Sett didn't want to be too crazy.

After all, he didn't have his grandmother to rely on if things beca too chaotic.

Lives would be lost if that happened.

The Prince beca speechless.

Killers had their unique instinct, and as a person who had killed a lot, the prince also had a killer's instinct.

He had noticed the intent to murder in Sett's eyes but others might not have noticed it.

If he moved against Sett for no reason, he would seem too petty to Zainah.

Suddenly, Egrith decided to let go of all pretenses.

One should live without masks. There was no reason to be so roundabout.

Egrith looked at Zainah calmly.

Then, he said, "You are an outsider, aren't you?"

That made everyone pause. Sett's face beca grim, Gold beca startled, Zarah and Zainah beca pale.

If soone weak had said that, it could have been ignored.

But this was the Prince of Ket. And his knowledge ant the empire had noticed them—and that ant they were in dangerous hands.
