The mont Deathless stepped onto the battlefield, reality flinched.

A silent quake rippled through the stone veins of the Ket Tomb—an echo too deep for sound, too ancient for light.

Far below, in the crypt’s suffocating stillness, a pair of eyes burst open.

The Lord Guardian stirred.

A skeletal sentinel wrapped in ruin, masked in bone.

Its head twisted. Slowly. Deliberately.

Sothing had appeared.

Sothing... ungodly.

Axiom of Reincarnation—

True Form—

DEATHLESS.

The world shuddered.

Faceless froze.

His instincts—those honed across countless lifetis—scread.

What... is this feeling?

A creeping pressure tightened around him, like invisible hands wrapping around his throat.

Danger?

From a Tier 2?

That’s absurd—

Blink.

The golden pupils on Deathless’ palm twitched—

Then snapped black.

Not empty.

Reflective.

Faceless stared.

They weren’t showing Egrith’s face—the mask he’d worn for this battle.

No.

They showed himself.

Featureless. Blank. The true form beneath all his lies.

His breath caught.

The air cracked.

No ti to hesitate.

No smirk. No monologue.

He moved.

A blur—faster than light, faster than thought.

A single strike, clean and brutal.

SHUKK.

Faceless appeared behind Sett in the sa motion.

In his hand—Sett’s still-beating heart.

He blinked. No resistance?

That was—too eas—

"—What?"

A wet sound.

Faceless looked down.

Blood.

His own.

A hole, torn through his chest like paper.

Axiom of Reincarnation—Life Share.

All wounds on his body shall be reflected back into the attacker.

Sett grinned. Battle rush rising through him.

"When—?"

Across from him, Sett stood tall. His chest, monts ago pierced, began to glow faintly.

Regenerating.

The heart inside him was growing back—like it had never been taken.

In seconds, there was no trace of the wound.

Axiom of Reincarnation—Death Begets Life.

He could use the aura of death to heal himself. And now—he was death itself. That ant his healing was infinite.

A heartbeat echoed. Wild. Strong.

Faceless’s eyes narrowed. The illusion of control cracking.

This... isn’t just regeneration. This is life itself growing. His regeneration is no weaker than mine.

Its own chest writhed, flesh morphing to create a new heart. It had no vitals in its body. It was not human. Heart, head, face—everything was just flesh that it could morph to its wish.

Faceless grinned nervously.

It moved again, faster than before.

I am much, much faster than you! What can you do?

This ti, it was not going to let whatever trick that Sett had pulled off earlier happen again.

Faceless’ hand shot straight toward Sett’s head—aiming to end it in a single blow.

Closer. Closer. Closer.

Sett turned in the last second, the fist grazing past his skin. His elbow cutting through the air to to land a crunching punch on Faceless’ jaw.

Crack.

Its jaw cracked, blood leaking down.

Faceless flipped midair, rushing away from Sett with a flutter of fleshy wings that appeared out of nowhere.

Blood dripped from its jaw.

He is not as fast as , but he predicted my movent.

Then, as it was watching—a thin line of blood appeared out of nowhere on its cheek. It was the sa wound that it had caused on Sett by grazing past his cheek.

Sett looked up at Faceless.

He spread his arms wide apart.

He could hear the rhythm of the world.

In his True Form, Life Share had no limit. Any harm done to him would be reflected back to the enemy. As long as he was in his True Form—it was impossible to harm him.

In his True Form—Sett had no death.

It was impossible to kill him.

He was Deathless.

A drop of sweat marred Faceless’ brows.

Sett sighed. It’s a pity that I can only use this form for 5 minutes.

After that, he would beco absolutely exhausted for a whole day.

But this five minutes is enough.

Sett pointed at the flying Faceless. "Burrhen, send him flying back down. It is annoying to look up at vermin."

Faceless sneered. "Your subordinates are of no threat to !"

Lord Burrhen blurred through the air, a fist flying right at Faceless’s back. Just like earlier, Faceless raised a single palm to stop it.

Axiom of Reincarnation—Death’s Call.

The ability to weaken an enemy using the understanding that Sett had over the enemy’s psyche. Since Faceless had beco Egrith—many of his ntal patterns had also appeared in Faceless’ soul.

That was why, it was easy to see through Faceless.

A creature with no identity who tried to gain the face and identity of others.

The next mont, Faceless felt atleast 70% of its own strength leave its body. From 1000 tons to less than 300 tons.

Its expression changed.

Lord Burrhen’s fist smashed through its palm and send Faceless crashing right into the dune beside Sett.

A golden sword flew through the air into Sett’s hand.

Shining Gold!

"YOU!" Faceless said with a grimace, its entire body a broken ss. "You possibly can’t hold this power for long. If you could do this, you would have easily defeated Egrith. There must be a price for this!"

There indeed was a price. But Sett did not have the habit of explaining himself to his enemies.

His ntal space was being healed every second due to being in the Deathless form. The mont he left the True Form, his ntal space would crack apart. But—there was a way around it.

He just had to kill and absorb all of the Territory that Faceless had before he left the Deathless Form.

Still 3 minutes 37 seconds remaining.

Sett’s hand fell without delay. The blade carved through flesh.

Cut through Faceless entire body in a crisscross.

From the desert ground, Ana ca out and crushed Faceless legs.

The Monkey, who had appeared from sowhere, also through a drop of blood into Faceless’ mouth. It flew through the air towards him.

This blood is dangerous—it might allow the monkey to control my body.

Faceless struggled to move. I have to use Egrith’s Axiom. That is the only way for survival.

Its body blinked and appeared away from Sett’s army.

"Idiot," Sett said. "I knew you would appear in the only area I left empty. That is obviously a trap."

He had long understood that Faceless also had Egrith’s skills. How could he not be prepared for them?

An invisible hand threw a drop of blood into Faceless’ mouth.

It stood, stupefied.

The Monkey King laughed boldly.

Divine Blessing—Body Manipulation.

Sett sped up to stand beside Faceless.

Attack. Attack. Attack.

Crush.

Even Faceless needed ti to heal.

Its own Body was manipulated to stop its own healing as well.

3 minutes remaining.

True Forms were simple things. They transford a person’s body to completely accomodate their Axiom. Just as Sett’s own body had transford to completely adopt the Axiom of Reincarnation. And in that form, most abilities of the Axiom just lose their limitations, making their true shine show through.

But all True Forms, without exception, were incredibly exhausting to use.

And usually, against True Forms, only True Forms could win.

If this battle had been with Egrith himself who had the True Form of his Dinsional Axiom, the battle would have been much harder. On the other hand, Faceless only had the Axiom, not the true experience and power of using it in combat.

In Sett’s eyes, he was nothing but an arrogant prey.

Soon enough, a dark core beca visible inside its bloodied flesh.

Sett inserted his void-blue hand into the flesh and pulled the core free of it.
