The Marvel Universe — New York City

In a quiet neighborhood, Renzo opened his eyes. Power surged through his body like a rising tide, and the corners of his lips curled into a satisfied grin.

"Damn… this feels good."

He spread out his spiritual sense, scanning the situation outside.

Whoosh whoosh whoosh!!

The skies above New York—and the streets below—had descended into pure chaos.

Alien warships and Chitauri soldiers sward the area, attacking everything that moved.

"Oh man," Renzo exclaid, "now I'm 100% sure that without my cheat, I'd never survive that."

Then Renzo expanded his view—just in ti to see the Avengers arriving on the scene.

"Tony! Where are you?! We can't hold out much longer!"

Captain Arica and the others were pinned down by waves of Chitauri soldiers. Energy blasts rained down on them nonstop, and they could barely hold their ground using nothing but grit and cover.

"I'm on my way! Got a big guy over here myself!"

Captain Arica ducked behind a crumbling taxi, his shield scorched and steaming from repeated blasts. He slamd it forward, deflecting a Chitauri energy bolt into another soldier's face.

"We're getting overrun!" Black Widow shouted, flipping behind cover as an alien glider crashed into the street beside her in a fiery ss. She popped up and fired two precise shots, dropping a Chitauri trooper mid-sprint.

Hawkeye, perched on a nearby rooftop, loosed arrow after arrow. "I'm almost out of arrows," he muttered to himself. "Again. Why is it always like this?"

anwhile, Thor ca crashing down from above, Mjolnir sparking with thunder. He spun in place, hurling lightning into a cluster of enemies and sending their tal bodies flying like scraps.

"You mortals are loud today," Thor said with a smirk, standing beside Cap as the ground quaked from another Leviathan smashing through a building.

Cap glanced skyward. "Where's Stark?"

"Incoming!" ca Tony's voice through the comms—followed by the roaring blast of his repulsors. He zood into view, weaving between buildings with deadly grace.

Iron Man unleashed a barrage of missiles mid-flight, spiraling upward and detonating across a massive Chitauri ship overhead. The explosion shook the sky. Flaming tal rained down.

"Had a big guy to deal with," Tony quipped, landing briefly beside Cap. "You miss ?"

Cap didn't even look. "You're late."

"Fashionably."

Suddenly, the ground trembled again. A massive Chitauri Leviathan slamd down into the street ahead, its monstrous body carving a path through cars and concrete. It roared, its mouth bristling with glowing energy.

"Uh... How should I defeat that thing?" Tony muttered, glancing up at the giant.

Just then—

Buzz!

A blur appeared high above them. Renzo suddenly flashed into view midair, catching the Chitauri completely off guard. A few of them tried to aim at him—but he didn't give them the chance.

With a single sweeping motion of his hand, a cold wave burst out in all directions.

"Absolute Zero!"

In an instant, every Chitauri soldier and Leviathan in range froze in place.

"Shit—what the hell?! That's cold!" Original content can be found at novel⸺fire

Even the Avengers couldn't help but shiver. A bone-chilling frost swept past them, and just as they were about to react, they noticed sothing strange—

The barrage of energy blasts had stopped.

They looked up and saw the Chitauri soldiers—frozen solid in place, mid-motion—and Renzo hovering calmly in the air above them.

Crack, crack—!

The frozen soldiers began to fracture, then shattered completely into glowing dust that drifted away on the wind.

Their weapons and even the nearby ships started falling from the sky, but Renzo waved his hand and collected them all before they could crash.

"Thank you for the save," Captain Arica called up to him. "But... mind telling us who you are?"

Natasha also looked up, clearly intrigued.

"Just call Renzo," he said with a faint smile. "No need to thank . I'm from Earth too—dealing with alien invaders is kind of my thing."

Natasha raised an eyebrow. "You trying to be a hero?"

Renzo smirked. "Do I have to be a hero to do the right thing!"

"You're right." Natasha smiled.

Renzo winked. "Alright, beautiful—I'll go handle the alien problem. And maybe after that, you'll consider going on a date or two with ."

With that, he rocketed into the sky, soaring straight toward the massive beam of light overhead.

BOOM!!!

Up there, Thor was swinging Mjölnir, unleashing lightning as he fought off Chitauri forces pouring out of the portal.

When he saw Renzo flying toward him, his eyes widened.

"A human? You can fly?"

Even Thor needed Mjölnir to fly. This guy was just… floating.

That thought made Thor squint at Renzo with a hint of curiosity—and maybe even respect.

"Hey there, Hamr God!" Renzo called out cheerfully.

"It's Thunder God, not Hamr God!" Thor snapped back, clearly annoyed.

But Renzo just laughed and ignored the correction.

"Absolute Zero!"

He raised one hand toward the portal above, and another surge of freezing energy exploded upward like a geyser.

The cold wave shot into the wormhole, instantly freezing every Chitauri soldier trying to co through. They turned into icy statues and shattered one after another.

With another motion, Renzo gathered their remains into his personal space dinsion—his regular spatial ring wasn't even big enough to hold this much anymore.

Especially not with those Leviathans.

In just this one wave, he had wiped out thousands of Chitauri soldiers... and three of the massive Leviathan war-beasts.

"Holy shit!"

Thor's eyes nearly popped out of his head.

"What kind of insane ice ability is that?! You're not a Frost Giant, are you?"

Even then... most Frost Giants couldn't pull off sothing like that.

Only the Frost Giant King wielding the Casket of Ancient Winters could reach this level.

"Nah, just good with ice," Renzo smirked, turning to Thor. "Wanna see sothing cool?"

The next mont—

Clouds rolled in unnaturally fast. Lightning crackled and gathered around Renzo, dancing like sparks around a live wire. Thunder roared. And in the next instant—a bolt of lightning split the sky and struck the battlefield, arcing with pinpoint precision.

Chitauri soldiers were blasted from every direction, each strike targeting them with unnatural accuracy, as if the storm itself could see.

"..."

Thor stared, Mjolnir still in hand.

"Maybe I'm really the Hamr God?" he muttered.
