Spider-Woman spoke as she looked at the shattered windows—if she hadn’t dodged in ti, she could’ve been crushed along with them.

Spider-Woman dropped from the ceiling. She knew she couldn’t do that—if she handed it over, she couldn’t bring Peter back to normal.
But it was still impossible to safely take the serum case out of here.
If the Lizard kept blocking her way, even if she reached the lab, it would be hard for Ruby to create a serum to cure him.
"Alright, let’s fight."

The Lizard’s face darkened.
Even though he said that, it didn’t an he could actually defeat Spider-Woman easily.
He was nearly beaten the night before.

Suddenly, the Lizard turned and ran toward the windows.
For a mont, Spider-Woman couldn’t understand what the Lizard was trying to do.
"He’s trying to escape?"

[Your dad is entering Oscorp with a squad of officers!]
Gwen’s expression changed instantly.
She understood what was happening.
Just now, when the Lizard’s tongue ca out, he was detecting people’s body heat.
That’s why he asked.
"Peter, stop!"
"I have a way to bring you back to normal!"
The Lizard ran so fast that Spider-Woman struggled to keep up.
Soon, the Lizard reached the window and smashed his head through it, breaking the glass.
Below, so people who had just approached the building were startled by the sound of glass shattering again.
Looking up, all they could see were shards of glass falling from the sky.

After the Lizard landed, a small crater ford at the point of impact.

All the scattered officers cautiously watched the cloud of smoke and dust in the center.
The police group at the gate imdiately rushed in with their weapons raised, followed by the security team under the captain’s command.
Soon, the Lizard’s figure erged from the dust.
He looked around at the people, satisfied.
"Peter?"
"Is that you, Peter?"
Among those who appeared was Dr. Connors.
When he saw Peter, his voice trembled slightly.
"Dr. Connors, I feel amazing right now—I’ve never felt better in my life."
"As you can see, our experint was a success."
"Dr. Connors, believe , you can regain your arm with this serum."
Connors was a military doctor who fought on the frontlines but retired after losing his arm in battle.
It was also because of this lost arm that he fully devoted himself to biological science.
All his research focused on regenerating severed limbs.
Having spent years with Peter, Connors now fully understood—Peter had been completely overtaken by the Lizard gene.
"Peter, why did you co to Oscorp?"
The Lizard smirked coldly. "I believe you already know the reason, Dr. Connors."
As George was about to speak, Spider-Woman dropped from the sky and shouted, "Get away from him!"
George looked up. "Spider-Woman?"
"Why are you here?"
While everyone was distracted, the Lizard made his move.
Right after Spider-Woman gently landed on the ground, she angrily questioned him:
"What do you plan to do with Dr. Connors?"
At that mont, Peter had already grabbed Connors, and his sharp claws easily pierced the skin on his neck.
Blood slowly began to trickle from the wound.
Looking at the blood, the Lizard couldn’t help but lick it.
George and the others imdiately raised their pistols and aid at the Lizard.
"Release Dr. Connors imdiately, Peter Parker!"
"Uncle George, don’t forget to say hi to Gwen. I’ll be seeing her after this."
George’s face went cold.
He didn’t understand what Peter ant.
But one thing was clear—it wasn’t good.
As the person involved, Gwen’s expression changed too, but she wasn’t foolish enough to reveal her identity to the Lizard.
"Spider-Woman, you’re a clever woman."
"I believe you already know why I took Dr. Connors hostage."
Gwen tightened her grip on the case in her hand. "Let him go, and I’ll give this to you right now."
"Oh, that’s fine."
"And don’t even think about tricking ."
"How many people here could you actually save?"
As soon as he said that, everyone’s expression changed.
"Don’t worry—I’ll keep my word."
"Good."
The Lizard tossed Connors aside, and Gwen imdiately leapt forward to catch him.
"You can’t give him the serum. I know what he’ll do with it."
"I know too, Dr. Connors."
"But I don’t have another option right now—he’s already lost his humanity."
If she didn’t hand over the case, the Lizard would really kill everyone here.
"Spider-Woman, it’s ti for you to keep your promise."
Spider-Woman tossed the case toward him, and the Lizard imdiately caught it and darted off into the alley he ca from.
George looked in the direction he ran, knowing that if he didn’t act now, he wouldn’t get another chance.
"Shoot him!"
Gunfire instantly rang out.
Bullets hit the Lizard’s back, but the attack had no effect.
"How is that possible?"
"It’s useless. His defense is too high—and he can recover instantly from bullet wounds."
Connors explained.
Suddenly, George noticed sothing and was shocked:
"Where’s Spider-Woman?"
