As for Izuru Kira, he once joined Division 4 after graduation, learned Kaidō, and later transferred to Division 3 to beco its Vice-Captain.
Now, Renji Abarai directly joined Division 11, and Izuru Kira joined Division 13. This was not sothing that happened in the original story.
