Optimus and the team noticed the sudden silence and rushed over, finding a dazed Bumblebee and Su Ming yawning nearby.
Ratchet inspected Barricade’s body, reporting to Optimus.
"Single cold-weapon strike, fatal. Unknown energy and exotic tal obliterated his spark. This human is extrely dangerous."
"Thanks. Finally, soone speaks the truth," Su Ming said, nodding satisfied, pointing a finger at Ratchet with a grin.
"So, you admit I can take down gatron now?"
Optimus realized his plan needed tweaking. Originally, he intended to find the AllSpark and use his own spark to destroy it.
Only a Pri-level spark could counter the AllSpark’s energy, triggering a shattering effect.
He’d planned to sacrifice himself for universal peace.
As long as the AllSpark existed, Cybertron’s war would persist, dragging countless systems into conflict.
But now...
If Su Ming could eliminate gatron and key Decepticons, Optimus could take the AllSpark and Matrix back to Cybertron, seeking gentler ways to use their power.
Earth’s solar tech, though inefficient, was a start.
All for a piece of Cybertronian tech this human wanted.
The deal seed a steal.
"I’ve researched you. Your abilities are an outlier among humans," Optimus said, crouching to study Su Ming’s reaction. "But you fill our combat gap. We’ll trade a... what Earth calls a supercomputer mainfra."
"Great. Let’s shake on it—no contract needed."
"Shake?"
"Palms touching, symbolizing friendship and agreent."
Optimus nodded, but size made it tricky. Su Ming gripped a ridge on Optimus’s finger, sealing their alliance.
"Now, we grab the AllSpark, use it to lure Decepticons, deal with gatron, then I’ll lead you to the Matrix, dismantle the stellar extractor, you pay , and you go ho. Sound good?"
"There’s a stellar extractor on Earth? Soone tried to drain your star?" Optimus transford into a truck, others loading Barricade’s body, as he questioned Su Ming about the dangerous device.
With the AllSpark or Matrix, a stellar extractor could convert star energy into batteries.
"Yeah, your Cybertronians. Primus created thirteen original Cybertronians, the ’Pris Dynasty’ or First Pris. One, seeking endless power, betrayed them for Unicron. Once Dawnbringer gatronus, now the Fallen, he planned to destroy your system’s star."
"Is this true, boss?" Bumblebee, snapping out of it, scratched his head.
"I don’t know," Optimus admitted, unsure how to respond. If true, so Cybertronians targeted humanity’s system.
Standing before a human, it felt like being caught stealing.
Though not Autobot-related, Optimus felt ashad as a Cybertronian.
"No worries. Fuse the Matrix with your spark, and you’ll access its data—all past Autobot leaders’ mories and wisdom," Su Ming said, waving it off, urging them to clean up and move. Hoover Dam was in Nevada, a long drive.
Optimus had more questions but held off, planning to ask en route.
Barricade’s body was tricky. Dumping it in the sea or burying it wasn’t safe.
Su Ming pointed out the junkyard’s thousands of scrapped cars—perfect camouflage. Toss Barricade in a pile, maybe chop him up a bit.
But Optimus insisted on respectful disposal. Su Ming let him decide—cremate in the sun or rebrain on Cybertron, whatever.
"This is Hoover Dam."
On a hillside, Su Ming gestured at the towering wall nestled in the canyon, a blue lake behind it, waterfalls gushing from spillways.
"I sense it. My sensors detect familiar waves. The AllSpark’s there," Optimus said, parked with the others in tree shade. The odd convoy’s stealth was questionable.
"No Mini-Cons among you Autobots? Like the Decepticons’ Frenzy?" Su Ming asked. He needed a Cybertronian to shrink the AllSpark, but a huge team ant a frontal assault.
"Arcee’s on standby in our orbiting ship. She can land if needed," Optimus offered. Arcee, slightly larger than humans, transford into a pink motorcycle.
"I’d love to et Arcee, but a teor landing’s as subtle as an assault," Su Ming said, stroking his beard, donning his helt. With gatron and the AllSpark inside, a fight it was.
Sector Seven agents were probably S.H.I.E.L.D.-level.
Get the AllSpark, execute the plan, collect his reward, and he’d be ho.
Where next?
Su Ming had no plans to linger. Transforrs had a ho—Cybertron. Grab your lost item and go, don’t squat at the neighbor’s.
Cybertron’s industrial base and tech were top-tier. This was a scouting trip. In decades, revisit for better loot.
