With that thought in mind, he resud his training aboard his spaceship.
…
Ti passed.
In the blink of an eye, two months had gone by.
During that ti, Jiang Chen had continued dismantling Frieza's strongholds, causing significant disruption across the empire's ranks. anwhile, Zarbon and Dodoria had drawn ever closer.
On a Planet.
A crucial hub within the central North Area, this planet housed one of the largest Frieza Force bases in the surrounding star systems.
"Have Zarbon and Dodoria arrived yet?"
Inside the base's command center, an octopus-like alien paced anxiously, his tentacles twitching with unease.
"Sir, they will arrive in three days at the latest."
Another subordinate, equally tense, reported with forced calm.
"Three days?" The commander exhaled in relief. "That should be enough."
If he had three days, that damned Saiyan wouldn't be able to reach them so soon.
Just as that thought settled—
"Alert! Alert!"
"Unknown vessel detected entering the atmosphere!"
"Alert! Alert!"
"Engage imdiately!"
The base erupted into chaos as sirens blared across the complex.
The octopus alien's expression twisted in horror.
"No… no, it can't be—"
Before he could finish—
BOOM!
A blinding white light consud the sky.
BOOM! BOOM!
A chain of deafening explosions followed, engulfing the entire base in flas. The Kentaru outpost was wiped out in an instant, reduced to a burning wasteland.
Amid the destruction, the octopus alien barely managed to escape, his battered body hurled through the air. If not for the natural durability of his species, he would have been vaporized in the blast.
But even though he survived, his condition was critical.
"Battle power of 15,000?"
"Not bad."
A calm voice echoed through the smoke.
Struggling to lift his gaze, the alien's eyes widened in horror as he saw a small figure standing amidst the ruins, smirking at him.
Jiang Chen.
By now, his face was infamous among the Frieza Force.
Seven bases had already fallen at his hands. Countless warriors had perished. Rumors even claid he had slain an elite soldier with a battle power of 17,000.
Panic gripped the alien's heart.
He wanted to speak, to beg for rcy— but before he could utter a word, Jiang Chen's gaze shifted beyond him.
"Hiding, are we?"
"You've been waiting for , haven't you?"
A smirk curled Jiang Chen's lips as he locked eyes with the presence lurking in the shadows.
With his refined control over Ki, Jiang Chen sensed the two formidable auras long before setting foot on the planet.
"Heh, pretty sharp for a monkey!" A mocking voice echoed through the air, and in the next instant, a bulky figure shot forward.
Its skin was pink, its limbs were thick and powerful, and fleshy spikes jutted from its head and arms.
Dodoria— one of Frieza's top enforcers.
Right behind him, another figure stepped forward with a smirk.
"Unfortunate for you, Saiyan. Frieza Sama is quite displeased with your actions."
The voice was smooth, and refined.
A green-skinned warrior with a chiseled face and an air of elegance erged.
Zarbon— Frieza's right-hand strategist.
"What an honor. Zarbon and Dodoria, the twin hounds of that so-called Emperor of the Universe."
Jiang Chen chuckled with a glimr of battle intent in his eyes.
His power had already surged past 35,000, reaching 36,000.
Individually, they weren't overwhelming— Zarbon's transford state peaked at 27,000, and Dodoria barely scraped 20,000. Alongside the octopus-like alien lurking in the shadows, they might just make for a decent warm-up.
"Heh, monkey, have you decided how you want to die?"
"I'm particularly fond of crushing skulls."
Dodoria sneered, his beady eyes glinting with malice.
"Oh? Then I suppose we'll see whose skull gets crushed first."
Jiang Chen smirked.
"You little—!"
Dodoria's face contorted in rage before he lunged, but Jiang Chen was faster.
BOOM!
Dodoria's eyes bulged as a sharp pain tore through his gut.
In an instant, his massive fra was sent hurtling through the air.
CRASH!
The distant ground buckled under the impact.
"What?!"
Zarbon's composed expression shattered, his eyes widening in disbelief.
Dodoria had a power level of 20,000. By all estimates, Jiang Chen should have been around the sa range. Yet Dodoria had been blown away in a single strike.
"Damn it… Your power level is above 20,000!" Zarbon hissed.
"I never said otherwise." Jiang Chen clapped his hands, unfazed. "Go ahead and transform. In your current state, you don't stand a chance."
Zarbon's expression darkened.
He hesitated only for a mont before his aura flared violently and his body began to expand.
BOOM!
A monstrous energy erupted as his elegant features twisted into sothing grotesque— hulking muscles, a gaping maw lined with fangs, and thick, pulsating veins.
"Blasted monkey! Do you dare force into this hideous form?! I'll make you suffer!" Zarbon growled, his voice guttural with rage.
anwhile, Dodoria staggered back to his feet, bruised but still standing.
"We'll take him together!" Zarbon commanded.
Dodoria grunted and nodded, while the octopus-like alien unleashed his own Ki and charged in.
Three-on-one.
One with a power level of 15,000.
One at 27,000.
One at 20,000.
By most standards, this was a fearso lineup— so of the strongest warriors in the universe.
Ever since the fall of the Grand Supre Kai and the weakening of the Supre Kais, Universe 7 has stagnated in martial growth.
A power level above 10,000 already marked soone as an elite.
Over 20,000 was legendary.
Beyond 100,000? It was near impossible to find soone at that power level outside of a few exceptions.
With this kind of strength, these three could have ruled entire galaxies.
But unfortunately for them…
Their opponent was Jiang Chen.
A warrior whose power had already surpassed 36,000.
More than raw strength, his mastery over Ki left them leagues behind.
BOOM!
BOOM!
The sky trembled as their battle erupted.
The octopus alien was the first to fall— his body disintegrating in an instant.
Dodoria followed soon after.
CRASH!
Zarbon was sent spiraling backward, his body battered and bruised.
Before he could even rise, he caught a glimpse of Dodoria's crumbling form.
His eyes widened in sheer terror.
"No…"
A deep fear gripped him.
There were three of them and yet Jiang Chen had dismantled them within monts.
Now, Zarbon stood alone.
Desperate, he threw aside his pride.
"W-Wait! Spare !"
"I can help you! Together, we can take down Frieza!"
"I swear allegiance to you! We can kill him!"
His voice trembled as he begged.
"Tch." Jiang Chen scoffed.
"Zarbon… You really think you're worth that much?"
His lips curled into a smirk of disdain.
Before Zarbon could respond, a searing blast of energy shot toward him.
"NO!"
Zarbon scread.
He gathered every ounce of ki he had left but it wasn't enough.
A power level of 27,000 could never withstand a strike from 36,000.
BOOM!
A massive explosion lit up the sky.
The shockwave ripped through the planet's surface, shaking the very core of the battlefield.
And with that, Zarbon was no more.
