As Jiang Chen's consciousness settled, he found himself in a vast, empty white space. There was nothing around him, only a blank void. Then, as his awareness adjusted, a chanical, emotionless voice echoed in his mind.
"Dinsion Raider detected! Data binding is in progress! Binding successful! Locating world…"
Lines of text flashed across the white void, and Jiang Chen couldn't help feeling a bit anxious.
Based on the intelligence he had, many of the worlds were familiar to him. But this was a random login, and even Jiang Chen wasn't sure if he'd end up in a world he knew. If it was unfamiliar—or worse, just a mundane world— he'd be in trouble. Who knew when he'd get another chance?
As he waited, both tense and excited, the chanical voice spoke again: "Location established! Matching world…"
A ripple suddenly spread through the white void, and scattered images began to form, providing basic information about the world.
''World Na:'' Unknown
''World Level:'' Unknown
''Match now?''
"Ding! You can choose a designated identity match or opt for a random match," The voice continued.
But Jiang Chen was too stunned to process this choice right away; his mouth dropped open as his eyes widened with shock. The images in the white void were already enough to reveal where he'd logged in this ti.
"No way… Dragon Ball!" Jiang Chen couldn't help but let out a curse.
It wasn't that he couldn't stay calm; it was just that the level of this world was far beyond his expectations. Known beginner worlds included ''One Piece'', ''Naruto'', ''Bleach'', ''Hunter x Hunter'', ''Attack on Titan'', ''The Outcast'', ''Rakshasa Street'', ''The Legend of the Condor Heroes'', and ''Return of the Condor Heroes''—all either ani or novels from his previous life. But whether novels or ani, their power levels weren't particularly high.
However, ''Dragon Ball'' was on a completely different level.
For a mont, Jiang Chen was completely dazed, struggling to process it all. He looked carefully at the images several tis. But that familiar scene, the iconic Ka House, and even the familiar characters left no doubt— this was definitely the Dragon Ball world.
"Ding! Would you like to start the login? Please choose your login thod."
The familiar voice snapped Jiang Chen out of his shock, and he felt a flush of excitent. ''Dragon Ball.'' Of all the worlds he'd seen so far, none were higher-level than this one. His earlier nervousness vanished, replaced by pure excitent. A world of this level, and a familiar one at that— Jiang Chen could already imagine the gains he might achieve.
"Ding! Please select your login thod."
Jiang Chen took a deep breath, calming his excitent, and spoke decisively, "Select designated identity login!"
"Designated identity selection in progress. Please choose your identity. Note: Available options include humanoid races, human, or beast."
As the voice spoke, images representing each identity flashed across the space. Seeing these options, Jiang Chen couldn't help but twitch his lips. Clearly, this was just the first arc of ''Dragon Ball'', and the available races were only those native to Earth. Choosing one of these would obviously limit his future potential.
Fortunately, Jiang Chen knew that his identity options weren't restricted to just these suggestions. In theory, any identity or race present in the world was selectable, as long as it existed in the current storyline.
And thankfully, Jiang Chen was well aware of the Dragon Ball universe's depth and options.
"Select Saiyan," Jiang Chen said, taking a deep breath.
"Ding! Identity verification is in progress. Verification complete! Identity matching in progress."
''[Na: Aspara (Jiang Chen)]
World: Unknown
Identity: Saiyan from Planet Vegeta
Main mission: Survive the destruction of Planet Vegeta
Ti remaining: 1095 days]''
"Identity matching complete. Would you like to log in now?"
Hearing the familiar chanical voice, Jiang Chen couldn't help but feel a rush of excitent. "It worked!" he whispered to himself, thrilled. Without further hesitation, he willed himself forward. "Login!"
As soon as he made the decision, a powerful ripple spread through the white void, and a massive beam of light shot down from above, enveloping Jiang Chen entirely. In an instant, his figure vanished from the spot.
anwhile, in Kyoto, at the Great Xia Dinsional Center…
"Alert! Alert! A large-scale world is being extracted! Countdown to world invasion begins."
The sudden alarm resounded through the center, instantly drawing attention. Several figures appeared in a flash.
"What's going on?" asked an elder in a deep, serious tone.
"Minister, a student has initiated login to a large-scale world— likely through random selection," a staff mber reported quickly.
"Random login, huh… Check the scale of this world imdiately, and see if we can forcibly initiate a second login," The elder instructed, frowning as he processed the news.
Every year, random logins could present unexpected issues. So unlucky individuals did find themselves pulled into large-scale worlds, and while it was unfortunate for them, it was beneficial for Great Xia. The resources gained from conquering a large-scale world could significantly enhance Great Xia's power, lifting them to new heights. The higher the world's level, the greater the benefit for Great Xia.
Thus, the Dinsional Center had a full protocol in place for such situations.
"Yes, sir! We're initiating forced matching. This may take so ti," the staff mber responded, quickly operating the necessary instrunts and equipnt.
