"Boom!"

"Rumble!"

A towering figure erged under a blaze of power. Jiang Chen had completed his Great Ape transformation in an instant, his overwhelming aura shaking the entire planet to its core and the pressure didn't stop there; it extended outward, rippling through the nearby star systems.

Thanks to the wish he'd once made to Shenron, Jiang Chen retained his consciousness even in this monstrous form. He remained lucid.

But it was obvious to him that rationality alone wasn't enough to reach the next level.

In the original tiline, when Son Goku faced near-defeat against the Tuffle parasite Baby-Vegeta, it was Earth's Blutz Waves that triggered his transformation into a Great Ape.

Fueled by latent Super Saiyan power, his ape form mutated further, its fur shedding its normal brown for the shimring gold of a Super Saiyan. It was only after regaining his sense of self that he ascended to Super Saiyan 4.

For Jiang Chen to do the sa, holding onto rationality wasn't the first challenge. The real step was evolving the Great Ape into its golden variant.

"The power of a Super Saiyan…" Jiang Chen muttered, brows furrowed in concentration.

In the next heartbeat, waves of Super Saiyan energy surged through his massive fra. He began attempting the near-impossible, transforming into a Super Saiyan within the Great Ape state.

"Roar!"

"Boom!"

As the golden power surged, a storm of wild energy burst from his body. His once-black pupils glinted with a trace of madness. The violent aura crackled, and from within its blinding brightness, hints of golden light began to bloom.

"Boom!"

"Rumble!"

Suddenly, sothing clicked. The massive Great Ape crossed a critical threshold.

A titanic surge of power burst skyward like a geyser. The white aura blazing around him was no longer white, it was gold, pure and radiant. His brown fur shimred, then transford completely into dazzling golden fur.

"ROAR!"

Another thunderous bellow erupted from Jiang Chen's mouth as the golden Great Ape howled at the heavens, its energy rolling across the galaxy like a storm.

But in that mont, Jiang Chen's consciousness was swallowed whole.

Yes, his wish to Shenron had granted him clarity of mind in the Great Ape state.

But that gift only covered the base transformation.

It prevented him from losing himself in the primal fury that consud most Saiyans when they beca apes, powerful, but mindless.

The golden Great Ape, however… was beyond that rule.

Its energy was too volatile, and as that frenzied aura surged once more… A massive shockwave erupted from its mouth.

The sky was torn apart.

Stars shattered.

With a battle power of 50 billion, the beam vaporized everything in its path.

The planet beneath him? Obliterated.

Nearby worlds? Reduced to cosmic dust.

Even the artificial moon orbiting the planet, used to trigger the transformation, began to break apart and fade.

And then, just as suddenly, the enormous golden form began to shrink.

Monts later, Jiang Chen's human form reappeared amid the collapsing void. His clothes were in tatters. He gasped for air.

"That was insane… So this is the golden Great Ape's power…" Jiang Chen murmured, still feeling the echoes of its rampage in his veins. His heart thudded in his chest.

He'd barely managed to push the golden Great Ape into a Super Saiyan state.

But that wasn't enough. The path to Super Saiyan 4 required more, much more. Theoretically, the golden Great Ape had to reach a power level equivalent to Super Saiyan 3, a 400-tis multiplier, to complete the transformation.

Yet even with just a 500-tis amplification, Jiang Chen's mind had already been overwheld. To endure a 400-fold boost in that form? It wasn't just his rationality at risk. His body might not survive the strain.

After all, a 10x Great Ape stacked with a 400x Super Saiyan boost equaled a 4,000-fold increase. That kind of amplification surpassed even the regular Super Saiyan God form.

It was only slightly weaker than the full-fledged Super Saiyan God.

"I'm not ready... not yet," Jiang Chen said quietly.

Without hesitation, he pulled out a Senzu Bean and swallowed it whole.

His energy recovered instantly, and without wasting another second, he rocketed back to Earth.

Once he landed, he didn't pause to rest. He placed the Book of Ti at the Lookout, trusting it to the skies.

Then, without delay, he stepped into the Hyperbolic Ti Chamber.

Originally, he hadn't planned to accelerate his training.

But sothing about this world, this strange dinsion he now stood in, filled him with a sense of creeping dread. To be safe, he had to master Super Saiyan 4 as fast as possible.

With that power, his strength would rise to a completely new tier.

"Swish!"

The Book of Ti shimred in mid-air, floating weightlessly.

Tendrils of temporal energy unfurled from its pages.

As an artifact forged by Chronoa, the Supre Kai of Ti, Jiang Chen wasn't concerned about it being stolen.

As long as Chronoa still existed, the book was bound, unmovable by anyone else.

He turned his focus inward.

Inside the Hyperbolic Ti Chamber, ti moved differently.

And so, his training began.

Ti passed in near-silence.

This round, his entire focus was on two things, controlling the golden Great Ape's chaotic energy and reinforcing his physical limits.

Compared to previous training, this process was less complex…

…but far more grueling.

Fortunately, after so many years of rigorous training, Jiang Chen was used to this kind of relentless grind.

Days blurred into months.

Then,

Two full years passed in the blink of an eye.

Two days later in the outside world, Jiang Chen erged from beneath the Lookout.

With his current power, he could've stayed longer inside the chamber. After all, even Super Saiyan 3 was enough to rupture dinsional boundaries, and his power, now reaching the realm of a Saiyan God, surpassed that threshold.

But two years was plenty.

There was no need to linger any longer. He rose to the top of the Lookout and extended his right hand. The Book of Ti, a relic of the Kaiō of Ti, fluttered through the void and returned to his grasp.

With a flick of his wrist, he stored it away. His divine sense swept over the Earth, scanning the entire planet.

There were no threats and no disturbances.

Satisfied, Jiang Chen vanished in a flash.

Monts later, deep in the Cancer constellation's seventh galaxy, an entire star system collapsed into dust as a massive golden Great Ape lood in the starlit void, its overwhelming energy echoing across tens of thousands of light-years.

On distant worlds, any being sensitive to ki or divine energy shuddered in fear.

But Jiang Chen ignored them.

His aura rampaged like a cosmic storm.

After obliterating that galaxy, he moved on to another.

Over the following months, Jiang Chen continued his trial-and-error assault across the stars.

Thanks to his two-year training regin in the Hyperbolic Ti Chamber, his physique had advanced trendously. His base battle power soared past 150 Million, and his mastery over Super Saiyan Form had deepened.

Though he hadn't yet tapped into the explosive amplification of Super Saiyan 3, he'd broken through Super Saiyan 2's 100x multiplier, pushing toward a 200x boost.

At that level, should he complete the Super Saiyan 4 transformation, even if not on par with Goku's original, his strength would ascend to an entirely new dinsion.

But even a 200x enhancent wasn't easily mastered.

Every ti he entered the Great Ape state, a violent, primal instinct surged forth, instantly drowning his rationality.

Even divine ki couldn't contain it.

Boom!

Another lifeless galaxy turned to nothingness beneath the shockwaves of his failed attempt.
