"Is this the power of Super Saiyan? It feels so intense!" Son Goku's eyes lit up, his excitent palpable. He could clearly feel the imnse power coursing through him, a sensation unlike anything he had experienced, not even during his Super Saiyan God transformation.
As if recalling sothing, Son Goku turned his gaze to Jiang Chen, his excitent growing.
"It seems like you're ready for another round!" Jiang Chen smiled, his eyes glinting with amusent as he looked at Son Goku, who was practically brimming with eagerness.
"Aspara, let's go again!" Son Goku nodded, his expression serious.
"Alright!" Jiang Chen agreed, a calm nod signaling his readiness.
He didn't refuse.
At this mont, Son Goku needed a battle to truly test his new power. Only through combat could he harness the full potential of his Super Saiyan form.
"Boom!"
The clash between the two erupted again.
With Son Goku now in Super Saiyan form, Jiang Chen knew it was ti to stop holding back.
But this "not holding back" would be a humbling experience for Son Goku. He was overwheld by Jiang Chen's sheer strength, speed, and combat prowess, all of which outclassed his own.
In just a few seconds, Son Goku was sent hurtling to the ground like a cannonball and with that, his Super Saiyan form faded, leaving him back in his normal state.
As Jiang Chen landed, his aura diminished, and his form returned to its natural state.
Son Goku, struggling, slowly managed to push himself back up.
"Aspara, you're incredible!" Looking up at Jiang Chen as he landed, Son Goku's eyes sparkled with admiration as she spoke.
"Your base Battle Power is lower than mine, and Super Saiyan is just the beginning. So naturally, you can't beat yet. But train hard, and when your base power increases and your Super Saiyan form grows stronger, you'll be able to catch up." Jiang Chen smiled, his tone full of encouragent.
He had no doubt about Son Goku's potential.
Though Goku had the lowest Battle Power among the Saiyans, his natural talent was on a level that only Frieza could truly match in the entire Dragon Ball universe.
In fact, even Vegeta and Broly would find it hard to keep up with him. (Broly's strength ca from his raw potential, while Goku's ca from his pure talent.)
"Super Saiyan base form?" Hearing Jiang Chen's words, Son Goku nodded, then froze, his eyes widening as another part of Jiang Chen's explanation sank in.
"Aspara, does Super Saiyan have other forms?" Raditz, who had just recovered from the impact, stepped forward and asked curiously.
The others didn't speak, but their confusion was clear in their expressions. They looked from Goku to Jiang Chen, seeking answers.
"Yes, as far as I know, there are four or five levels of Super Saiyan." Jiang Chen paused for a mont, then answered slowly, his voice steady.
"Four or five?" Raditz and the others stared in disbelief.
"Aspara, wasn't it said that a Super Saiyan only appears once every thousand years? Does it really have multiple forms?" Toteppo, too, was confused, and the others shared in his uncertainty.
In the rumors they had heard, a Super Saiyan appeared only once every millennium. But now, not only had two appeared at once, but Jiang Chen was claiming there were multiple levels to the form.
"The one that appears once every thousand years isn't a Super Saiyan, but a Legendary Super Saiyan. They are different." Jiang Chen shook his head, his tone calm as he explained.
"Super Saiyan, Legendary Super Saiyan? Aspara, aren't they the sa?"
The group, still confused, looked to Jiang Chen for further clarification. Toteppo, unable to hold back, asked again.
"They're different! Super Saiyan is a transformation for Saiyans, while the Legendary Super Saiyan is a unique existence."
Jiang Chen's thoughts seed to stir, as if he had just recalled sothing important, and he couldn't help but add, "Do you rember the Tuffles attack incident at the incubation chamber on Planet Vegeta when Goku was born?"
"The Tuffles attack?" Toma asked, puzzled, and all eyes turned to Jiang Chen, awaiting an explanation.
Jiang Chen nodded slightly, his gaze distant. "That incident... it probably wasn't a Tuffles invasion. I heard it was actually the birth of Paragus's child. The child's Battle Power at birth was a staggering ten thousand. If nothing went wrong, that child should have the potential of becoming the Legendary Super Saiyan. But King Vegeta, jealous of the child's potential and fearing the threat to his throne, exiled him and covered it up by claiming it was a Tuffles invasion."
"What?!"
The group stared in shock, their eyes wide. A Battle Power of ten thousand at birth was an unimaginable figure. Their minds were racing to process Jiang Chen's words.
They didn't doubt the validity of his claim, Jiang Chen had been in the logistics center at the ti, and their understanding of King Vegeta's ruthlessness made the story seem all too plausible.
"King Vegeta... what a scoundrel." Toteppo couldn't help but curse under his breath, the anger palpable in his voice. The others nodded in agreent, murmuring their disgust.
"Anyway," Celipa interjected, taking a deep breath to calm herself, her voice brimming with curiosity, "Aspara, can you tell us more about the different forms of Super Saiyan?"
"Right!"
"Yes, please, Aspara!" The others eagerly added, including Son Goku, who was more intrigued by the stages of Super Saiyan than by the legendary events from the past.
"Sure," Jiang Chen said, his tone calm and asured. "Super Saiyan is generally divided into four, maybe five, stages."
"If it's four stages, they are Super Saiyan 1, Super Saiyan 2, Super Saiyan 3, and Super Saiyan 4."
"And if there are five stages," He paused, his voice contemplative, "I'm not entirely sure if Super Saiyan 5 exists."
The group exchanged wide-eyed glances, their faces filled with disbelief. "Super Saiyan 1, 2, 3, 4?" they murmured in unison. They hadn't expected there to be such distinctions.
"Aspara, what's the difference between them?" Son Goku asked eagerly, his eyes fixed on Jiang Chen.
"Yes, Aspara, please explain!" Celipa added, her curiosity piqued.
Jiang Chen smiled, then began his explanation. "To put it simply, Goku's current transformation is the first stage of Super Saiyan, also known as Super Saiyan 1. It gives a fifty-fold increase in power. For Goku, his base Battle Power is 3 Million, but in the Super Saiyan form, it boosts to 150 Million."
"Just like the normal state, the Super Saiyan form requires training to fully master. If one can harness this power and push it to its absolute limits, they can reach the perfect form of the first stage, unleashing the full potential of Super Saiyan."
"Next is Super Saiyan 2, which provides a hundred-fold power increase."
As the group listened intently, Jiang Chen continued, "Each stage has its own distinct traits, and mastering them requires both strength and control."
The others absorbed every word, the weight of Jiang Chen's explanation setting in.
However, when they heard that Super Saiyan 2 offered a hundred-fold increase, their eyes went wide in disbelief.
"One hundred tis?" Toteppo stamred, and the others looked just as stunned.
"Yes, a hundred tis." Jiang Chen nodded, continuing, "And that's just the basic level of Super Saiyan 2. If soone continues to train and improve, Super Saiyan 2 can increase even further."
"Above that, we have Super Saiyan 3, which offers a four-hundredfold increase."
"Super Saiyan 4 is ten tis stronger than Super Saiyan 3, aning a four thousand-fold increase!"
The numbers Jiang Chen revealed sent a chill through the group. Super Saiyan 2's hundred-fold increase, Super Saiyan 3's four hundred-fold, and Super Saiyan 4's staggering four thousand-fold increase were enough to make everyone pause in awe.
Four thousand tis.
That ant if they could reach Super Saiyan 4, even with their current Battle Powers, they could easily defeat the Frieza they had faced before.
The weight of that realization made everyone take a deep breath. Even the East Kaiōshin, who had been listening from nearby, looked shocked.
"Goodness! Are you serious? How can there be such a terrifying race?" Kibito was stunned, his face completely frozen in disbelief.
Jiang Chen's words had shattered his understanding of power.
"That's incredible!" Son Goku exclaid, his voice filled with excitent. "I have to reach Super Saiyan 4!"
The others were equally fired up. They couldn't contain their excitent, each of them breathing heavily in anticipation.
Seeing their reactions, Jiang Chen smiled.
This was exactly what he had hoped for. With Frieza and Cooler dealt with, the pressure on the Saiyans had eased. But Jiang Chen needed to give them sothing greater to strive for, sothing that would keep them motivated to push their limits.
These were people he truly cared about in the Dragon Ball world, and he didn't want them to stagnate.
