Nearby, Middle-aged Sasuke— his chakra still not fully recovered— stood alongside Jiraiya, both looking worse for wear.
"Who the hell is this guy?" Jiraiya muttered, casting a wary glance at Sasuke.
Middle-aged Sasuke opened his mouth to respond but hesitated, unsure of how to explain.
Jiraiya studied him for a long mont but chose to suppress his curiosity.

Explosions rumbled in the distance.
The battle was almost entirely one-sided.
Though Urashiki was among the weaker Ōtsutsuki, he still had the upper hand against a chakra-depleted Sasuke and Jiraiya.
As for Boruto and young Naruto, they were completely outmatched, unable to join the fight.
"How pathetic. Weak, foolish humans." Hovering mid-air, Urashiki sneered, his expression dripping with arrogance as he looked down at them.

In the next instant, he swung his fishing rod, sending a forceful energy wave through the air.
Jiraiya was thrown backward, his body crashing into the ground while Sasuke barely managed to dodge, but his face paled even further.
"Jiraiya, take Naruto and Boruto. Get out of here." Sasuke gritted his teeth as he spoke.
"Got it." Jiraiya cast a long look at Sasuke, then nodded.
He pressed his right hand to the ground.
"Summoning Jutsu!" With a quick incantation, a massive toad appeared, imdiately leaping away with Naruto and Boruto on its back.
"Running, are we?" Urashiki let out a cold chuckle and prepared to pursue—
But just then, a figure suddenly appeared.
In the next second, Uchiha Sasuke wrapped himself around Urashiki, dragging him down toward the cliff's edge.
Boom!
The two plunged into the river below.
Monts later—
From beneath the water, Middle-aged Sasuke crawled onto the riverbank, his face ashen.
His chakra was nearly depleted.
"Cough… cough…" He coughed violently, his body shaking.
"Sasuke Oji San! Are you alright?" Boruto's anxious voice grew closer.
Behind him, Jiraiya and young Naruto approached as well.
"Sasuke…" Jiraiya gave Sasuke a long, searching look before glancing at Naruto and Boruto.
"We have to move. That guy will be back any second." Sasuke's voice was low but urgent.
"Are you leaving? It's far too late for that now. You've made furious, you lowly creatures!" Urashiki's icy voice rang out.
The air rippled as space itself collapsed, and a mont later, a figure stepped out.
This ti, Urashiki's pupils had transford into six-tomoe Rinnegan, glowing an eerie blue.
His entire presence had shifted.
Feeling the overwhelming aura, everyone's expressions darkened.
Then, at that mont—
"Lowly humans?"
"I really hate that phrase."
A light chuckle echoed through the air.
At the sound,
Splaaaash—
An ethereal river shimred into existence, stretching far into the distance as two figures erged from its flow.
Middle-aged Sasuke's pupils contracted sharply as he turned toward the sky.
Jiraiya's gaze imdiately locked onto one of the figures.
"Who is she…?" Jiraiya murmured under his breath.
He had encountered Jiang Xi before— several tis, in fact, at Mount Myōboku.
He had always been curious about her.
But whenever he inquired, the elder toad sages Fukasaku and Shima refused to speak of her.
"Who are you?" Urashiki's expression turned wary as his gaze snapped to the two newcors.
"Xi, take care of him." Jiang Chen's voice was calm as he addressed the woman beside him.
"Understood." Jiang Xi nodded and stepped forward.
A surge of chakra erupted around her and her Byakugan activated in an instant.
"Byakugan? A Hyūga?" Jiraiya's eyes widened in surprise.
But a second later, his breath caught.
Because the mont Jiang Xi unleashed her Byakugan, a faint, purple chakra fla ignited across her entire body.
The sheer pressure of her energy sent a chill through him.
"Tenseigan?" Middle-aged Sasuke's face was marked with shock.
He had never personally experienced the battle where it was used, but he had learned about it through Naruto.
Yet—
In this era, the Tenseigan wasn't supposed to exist.
Confusion flickered across Sasuke's face.
anwhile, Jiang Chen had already stepped forward.
He wasn't concerned about Ōtsutsuki Urashiki's strength. The mont he arrived, he could sense that it was roughly between three to four hundred points— just in terms of raw energy.
Judging by the original tiline, it was questionable whether Urashiki could even wield half of that potential.
Jiang Xi could handle him.
"Um, that guy seems really strong. Are you sure she can take him on alone?" Jiraiya's voice carried a hint of unease as he watched Jiang Chen land.

He hadn't expected to stumble into this situation.
This had to be part of the Boruto storyline.
In the original story, Ōtsutsuki Kinshiki, Momoshiki, and Urashiki had co to Earth in search of Ōtsutsuki Kaguya.
Upon discovering the Jinchūriki, Urashiki had planned to extract their chakra to replant the Divine Tree and harvest its fruit.
After Momoshiki and Kinshiki were killed, Urashiki remained on Earth, attempting to collect all the Bijū chakra.
To achieve this, he used the Ōtsutsuki artifact "Plow" to travel back in ti, intending to steal the Nine-Tails' chakra from a young Naruto.
In the end, he was defeated by Jiraya and Sasuke working together.
This mont must be when he first traveled back in ti.
Jiang Chen's eyes lingered thoughtfully on Urashiki, who floated above them.

He was sent flying yet again.
But now, he abandoned all restraint. In a desperate move, he swallowed his own Rinnegan.
"Boom!"
An even more nacing aura erupted around him as his body rapidly transford.
His Byakugan turned gold, a golden Rinnegan erged on his forehead, black horizontal markings appeared on his face, and massive, horned wings unfurled from his back. His feet twisted into razor-sharp black claws.
If his previous power had been around three to four hundred points, it now surged past four hundred— reaching five hundred.
Boom.
Boom.
The battlefield trembled under the force of their clashes.
Jiang Xi's power was just over three hundred points, nearing four hundred, but her mastery of combat— honed through years of training in the three Holy Lands— allowed her to wield it with unparalleled precision.
Urashiki, on the other hand, had gained raw power, but his ability to control it was slipping.
"Impossible! You humans shouldn't be able to fight !" His rage echoed across the battlefield and a terrifying surge of chakra burst outward.
"Heavenly Spiral teor Dragon Palace!"
With a furious roar, he thrust his arms forward, unleashing a swirling mass of purple chakra that expanded into a monstrous black-and-purple ribbonfish, which then hurled an enormous purple-red chakra sphere at Jiang Xi.
"Golden Wheel Rebirth Explosion!" Jiang Xi remained composed, lifting her right hand.
Dozens of chakra orbs fused together, condensing into a massive golden blade of light.
"Boom!"
"Boom!"
