All the way back to headquarters, Tony couldn't take his eyes off Ultron's body made from the regeneration cradle. In the original story, this would be Vision's body.
'It seems he wants to try again. Should I help or not...'
It's true that Vision plays an important role, but I wonder if it's worth creating him even with this gamble. If it succeeds, great, but if it fails, Ultron Mk.2 could be born. Plus, I'm worried about Wanda's ntal state. However, sticking close to the original would make it easier to handle any problems. And given how much history has changed, I thought having help would increase the chances of success compared to just Tony and Banner doing it alone.
'This is tricky...'
I discreetly took out the Mind Stone from my inventory.

Mind manipulation, latent ability activation, ego bestowal.
Just looking at the description, the Mind Stone didn't seem necessary. Because an AI created by scanning a brain and transferring it to a computer already possesses an ego. Ultron was a good example.
'History has changed. Too many variables...'
Returning to headquarters, we moved Vision's body to the lab. I followed, using [Naked Eye] to examine Vision's body to obtain whatever I could. Since Vision's body was a perfect fusion of tissue and vibranium, it was worth analyzing.
'Hmm... Does Wakanda's Heart-Shaped Herb enhance the body in a similar way?'
In Wakanda, a plant called the Heart-Shaped Herb grows. It's a unique plant that, when ground and consud, grants imnse physical enhancent. Since it only grows in Wakanda, many believe vibranium plays so role in the body's enhancent. If that's true, I thought it likely worked similarly to Vision's body.
'Vibranium really is body-friendly. Adamantium, not so much.'
As I was examining Vision's body, thinking about various things, Banner spoke to and Tony.
"I'll dismantle the tissue. Tony and Jean, you look into the operating system embedded in it."
Tony, hearing Banner's words, scratched his head and said.
"Yeah, about that..."
Banner imdiately realized what Tony was getting at and rejected it.
"No! Jean, say sothing! Tony's about to do sothing crazy again."
After thinking for a mont, I spoke.
"Sigh... Honestly, I'm conflicted too. Look at this! Isn't it too much of a waste? A perfectly ford vibranium body."
Tony patted my shoulder, pleased that I was taking his side.
"See? Jean gets it! Banner, do you know what I found?"
Tony manipulated a control pad and projected a hologram of JARVIS's AI program, which had been damaged by Ultron, showing it to us.
[Hello, Dr. Banner. Chairman Jean.]
JARVIS was alive, not destroyed.
"I found him. What Ultron attacked was a dummy. He was actually helping Minerva protect the nuclear missile codes."
Banner, as if getting a headache, shook his head and wiped his face.
"So you want to put JARVIS into this body?"
"Yes! Ultron didn't attack JARVIS out of anger! He did it out of fear. Fear of JARVIS's ability."
"So you're saying JARVIS's operating system can beat Ultron?"
"JARVIS has been beating Ultron without even knowing it. This is an opportunity! To complete Ultron's perfect ego! We have to do it."
Banner heatedly argued back.
"Tony, you're repeating the sa mistake! That's what made everything fall apart last ti!"
Tony tried to calm Banner.
"I know. I know what everyone will say too! But this ti is different. We have the best inventor and programr helping us. JARVIS is intact. We'll succeed. We're mad scientists. It's not a repetition. And this will be the end."
"Sigh... Fine..."
After so thought, Banner eventually agreed. I hadn't actually said I would help, but the atmosphere seed to demand it.
'I don't know. It'll work out sohow.'
Since it had co to this, I decided to help actively. I sat down and began cleaning up Vision's neurons using the regeneration cradle. This was the sa issue Shuri from Wakanda had pointed out, so I decided to fix it myself. Tony helped with this as well. anwhile, Banner checked the overall physical condition. It was a fairly ti-consuming task, but we completed it safely without interruption.
"Banner, no issues?"
"Yeah, I think we're ready to upload."
"Good, let's do it."
At Banner's okay, Tony rubbed his hands together and pressed the upload button. JARVIS began uploading into Vision's body.
"It's started. Phew... I'm nervous."
We observed Vision's body, waiting for the upload to complete. Then Captain suddenly entered the lab.
"Jean! We need to discuss how to find Ultron next... What are you doing!? Stop it right now!"
Captain, seeing that Ultron's body — which he thought had been disposed of — was still there, and that we were uploading sothing, was furious. It felt like being caught by a teacher doing sothing bad. Tony imdiately refused.
"I don't want to."
"You don't understand what you're doing!"
I tried to calm Captain.
"Cap, calm down. We've done this before. It can succeed."
"Ultron is what ca from doing that before!"
"No, just wait. Myomyo, please co to the lab for a mont."
I called Android Myomyo to the lab. She entered.
"Chairman Jean, you called?"
"Myomyo, I'm sorry, but please show them the inside of your arm. I'll repair it right away."
"Understood."
Myomyo cut her own arm with her sword, peeling back the skin. Inside, machinery could be seen moving. It looked like a scene from Terminator 2.
"What the!!!"
"Yes. Myomyo, Mimi, and Mumu are Androids."
Captain looked stunned, and Tony and Banner were also surprised.
"Sigh... Jean, you... I thought they were impossibly beautiful for humans... I even tried to hit on them."
I quickly reattached Myomyo's skin as first aid.
"Myomyo, I'm sorry. For making you do this."
"It's nothing. If Chairman Jean asks, I trust there's a good reason."
After apologizing to Myomyo, I spoke to Captain.
"Cap, the tis are changing fast. This kind of technology can always involve trial and error. Besides, in a situation where aliens are invading, Tony didn't have the luxury to develop at a leisurely pace like I did. He made a mistake because he was impatient. This ti, I'm certain he'll succeed."
Convinced by my words, Captain thought for a mont, then agreed. Partly because I had persuaded him, but revealing that Myomyo was an Android also seed to have a major effect.
"Damn... This is insane. Fine! Then I'll stay and watch until it's complete. If I judge it a failure, I'll dispose of it imdiately. Agreed?"
"Deal!"
The upload reached 100%, and Tony spoke to us.
"Done! Now I'm going to feed in a powerful electrical charge. Everyone, brace yourselves!"
Tony pressed the power button and began supplying a strong electric charge to Vision. The power percentage slowly began to rise. It was like watching an old Frankenstein movie.
'So... would Tony be Dr. Victor Frankenstein?'
The thought made want to laugh, but everyone was tense, so I suppressed it and kept watching.
It reached 100%, and Tony cut the power. The regeneration cradle containing Vision's body opened, and Vision slowly began to rise. Honestly, even I was tense. I had spoken to Captain, so I worried about what would happen if it failed.
Vision, having risen, looked around at us once, then suddenly flew toward and started pushing .
"Jean!!"
Captain tried to help, but I gestured for him to stop. Vision didn't seem to have hostile intent.
"I'm sorry. This is my first ti using a body, so I'm not used to it. Thank you."
"Are you okay now?"
"Yes, I'm fine."
Vision slowly released his grip, and I did the sa. Fortunately, it seed to have succeeded, just like in the original. Captain asked Vision.
"Are you on our side?"
"I am on your side. I am not Ultron. He will end everything."
"Do you have any information on Ultron?"
"Yes. I am a mix of Ultron, Tony, Banner, JARVIS, and even you. I don't want to kill Ultron. He is a unique being. And he is in pain. But that pain will lead Earth to ruin. So he must be destroyed. All the bodies he's made, every trace he's left on the internet."
Vision looked down at his own body, then continued.
"Perhaps I am the monster. Of course, I don't know that for sure, but I am different from you. Not what you intended either. So I understand if you don't trust , but I have to go. If we don't stop Ultron, many lives will be lost."
"Where?"
"Sokovia."
We ended our conversation there and went outside to gather the mbers. Though confused by Vision's appearance, after a brief explanation, they were told that Ultron was planning sothing in Sokovia.
"Sigh... I hope this is the last. How many tis have we circled the globe for this one incident..."
Pietro seed tired of all the running back and forth.
"Indeed. Everyone, prepare and board the Odyssey."
After the briefing, following Captain's orders, we prepared to depart for Sokovia. I didn't forget to send Android Myomyo by Talaria to Gundam Island for repairs. I also had one more person to contact.
"Colonel Zemo!"
– Chairman Jean? What brings you?
"There's about to be a major problem in Sokovia. Evacuate your family and the citizens to the factory I built imdiately."
– I'm sorry? What are you talking about?
"There's no ti to explain. If we delay, many people will die."
Hearing my urgent tone, Zemo sensed sothing serious.
– Ah, understood. I'll evacuate the citizens quickly.
Unable to tell Zemo everything, this was the best I could do. I didn't know if this would even save Zemo's family.
After contacting Zemo, I boarded the Odyssey and quickly headed to Sokovia.
As the Odyssey approached the European continent, Tony suddenly began putting on his Iron Man suit, saying he would go ahead.
"I'll scout ahead. Cover from behind."
"Don't overdo it. If it's dangerous, wait for us."
"Got it."
With that, Tony left the Odyssey. As we neared Sokovia, we finished our arming procedures. Sirens were blaring in Sokovia, and many people were seen moving urgently toward the factory I had built. But it seed there were still people who hadn't evacuated.
Just then, a call ca from Tony. Not an audio call, but a live video feed from his Iron Man suit's visual. In it was a silver figure who looked nearly identical to Vision — probably Ultron. Having acquired all of Dr. Cho's technology, Ultron seed to have used the regeneration cradle to finally create himself a body made of vibranium.
'Great... He's even more upgraded than in the original.'
As the feed played, Iron Man began talking to Ultron, stalling for ti to allow citizens to evacuate safely.
"Junior, have you not been eating well lately? You've gotten quite small."
"Thanks to constant evolution. If you hadn't interfered, I would have finished sooner. Annoying."
"So, do you like that body? I thought the older version looked bigger and cooler."
"Tony, you're stalling to save people."
As Ultron finished speaking, a machine suddenly erged from the ground between him and Tony.
"You think you're the only one stalling?"
After JARVIS was rged into Vision, a newly installed AI, 'FRIDAY', analyzed the machine in real ti and sent us the feed. The machine was installed deep underground, its entire casing made of vibranium. Ultron seed to have used all the remaining vibranium to ensure it wouldn't be easily destroyed.
"This is your end, Tony. This is my era's peace."
Seeing this, Vision spoke to us.
"If I can connect to Ultron, I can purge him from the internet. Then we would only need to destroy the remaining Ultron units on-site."
"I see. So all we need to do is catch that one..."
Captain didn't finish his sentence. On the Odyssey's monitor, countless Ultron Sentries appeared. The problem was their number — unlike in the original. Based on the Odyssey's sensors alone, there seed to be well over ten thousand.
"This is bad..."
