After finishing their preparations, they took a Talaria to S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters. During the ride, Tony looked around the Talaria RV and comnted,
"This is nice. I didn't have ti to look at it earlier. I'll have to ask Jin for one later. It'd be great for transporting suits and perfect for road trips."
Captain Arica and Director Fury nodded in agreent.
"Jin is good at making things like this."
"I'd like one too. Who would refuse such convenient transportation?"
Hearing that, I thought I should probably give Tony one after this was over. But I wasn't sure whether to give one to Director Fury.
They secretly arrived at a mountain near S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters, walked the rest of the way, and entered through a maintenance tunnel connected to the building. Before entering, Captain Arica gave final instructions.
"Rember: expose Hydra within S.H.I.E.L.D. Each of us will take one Helicarrier."
"Got it, Cap." "Okay, Cap."
"And Nick Fury and Maria Hill will quickly take control of the command center."
"Understood."
Captain Arica also spoke to Tony via comms.
"Tony, are you ready?"
-Yeah, ready.
From this point on, Fury acted separately. Captain Arica, Sam, and Deadpool moved to take control of the communications room. So S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, upon seeing Captain Arica, didn't attack; instead, they helped. Thanks to them, they easily secured the comms room. Afterwards, Captain Arica announced over the entire S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters broadcast that Hydra had infiltrated S.H.I.E.L.D.
-This is Steve Rogers. S.H.I.E.L.D. is not what we thought it was. It has been compromised by Hydra. Alexander Pierce is their leader. The Strike team, the Insight agents, and many others within S.H.I.E.L.D. are Hydra. The person next to you could be one of them. Their goal is world domination. Launching the Helicarriers will help Hydra eliminate their obstacles. We have to stop them.
After the broadcast, gunfire erupted throughout S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters, signaling the start of firefights between Hydra and loyal S.H.I.E.L.D. agents.
"Sigh... Damn... I wonder how many will die..."
Captain Arica sighed with concern. Sam patted his shoulder in consolation.
"They knew the risks. And if we don't stop this, even more people will die. Let's move quickly."
"Yeah."
Just then, an urgent call ca from Iron Man.
-Uh... Steve, the reservoir gate is opening. They're launching the Helicarriers. I'll take care of the agents outside... Shit!
Rat-tat-tat-tat!
The Helicarriers, now airborne, began concentrating their turrets on Iron Man, who was engaging Hydra agents. Iron Man perford evasive maneuvers.
"Let's move!"
At Captain Arica's signal, Deadpool and Falcon quickly left the headquarters and moved toward their assigned Helicarriers. The Helicarriers were rising from the underground reservoir, so with good timing, they could jump aboard.
"Just rember, all three chips must be replaced at once! If sothing goes wrong, call for support imdiately."
"Understood, Cap."
They jumped onto their assigned Helicarriers and began moving toward the central facilities where the chips could be replaced. Hydra agents on the decks had been largely neutralized with Iron Man's help, allowing for quick infiltration. However, many Hydra agents had taken refuge inside the ships, slowing their progress.
Bang, bang, bang!
Hiding behind a wall from Hydra gunfire, Deadpool said,
"Ow~ damn! There seems to be a lot of them?"
-The second pouch on the left of your suit. Throw what's inside at them! It's a flashbang!
Following my instructions, Deadpool quickly retrieved the rectangular silver object from the indicated pouch, threw it at the enemies, and hid again. The bright flash signaled Deadpool to co out, and he began shooting and slashing with his katana. Watching Deadpool's acrobatic combat, I was reminded of the iconic scene from Kill Bill. The funny thing was, Deadpool fought even more sexily.
Thinking of Deadpool as sexy, even for a mont... that's ridiculous.
But it made sense. Deadpool was now a beautiful blonde woman, and watching such a woman fight acrobatically would captivate anyone. But she was still a he.
Deadpool could fight like that thanks to his [Healing Factor] ability. Because his muscles healed rapidly from the strain of intense exercise, his physical abilities were naturally superior to normal humans. Not Super Soldier level, but still significantly stronger than an average person.
Thud! Smack! Thump!
"Ugh!" "Argh!" "Ow!"
After the Hydra agents were mostly dealt with, I displayed a graphical route to the Helicarrier's data center in Deadpool's view. He quickly found his way and replaced the chip.
"Phew~ Cap! I'm done!"
-Ugh! I need so help. The Winter Soldier (Bucky) is here.
After Deadpool secured his Helicarrier, Captain Arica was still en route to his data center, and Falcon seed blocked by the Winter Soldier. With the decks clear, Iron Man, at Fury's request, entered the headquarters to minimize S.H.I.E.L.D. casualties and was using the data I provided to subdue Hydra agents.
"Sam, I can't get there. Pull back, pick up, and let's gang up on the Winter Soldier on the deck."
-O-okay! Gang up...
Deadpool rushed to the deck. Falcon quickly flew over, scooped up Deadpool, and flew to his assigned Helicarrier.
"Ooh~ this is the first ti I've been held by so many n. It's exciting?"
"Zip it!"
Falcon also found Deadpool's words absurd. They moved to Falcon's Helicarrier and engaged the Winter Soldier. Falcon flew around, firing his guns, while Deadpool swung his sword. But the Winter Soldier was also a Super Soldier, so it wasn't easy. Bucky moved quickly through the deck's clutter, dodging bullets, and fought Deadpool.
Clang!
Deadpool blocked the Winter Soldier's tal arm with his sword.
"Ugh! Damn, Elsa is too strong?"
Just then, a call ca from Captain Arica.
-Sam! I'm done here too! I'll co help. Pick up!
"Got it!"
Falcon hurriedly moved to pick up Captain Arica, but the Winter Soldier shot a cable from a wrist-mounted device, catching Falcon's wing and pulling him back, preventing him from taking off. Deadpool quickly threw his vibranium sword, cutting the cable.
"Go!"
"Got it! Hold on a little longer."
Falcon flew away, leaving Deadpool and the Winter Soldier alone on the deck. The Winter Soldier imdiately charged at Deadpool. Deadpool looked for his sword, but having thrown it to cut the cable, it was lying on the floor so distance away, and he didn't have ti to retrieve it.
"Oh, shit! I think I'm screwed."
The Winter Soldier attempted a powerful kick to Deadpool's abdon, but Deadpool barely managed to duck and guard with both arms.
Thud! Crack!
One of Deadpool's arms broke from the force of the kick, and he was sent flying into a crate.
Crash!
"Ugh! Hitting a bone is cheating, you know!"
Deadpool shouted at the Winter Soldier. The Winter Soldier hadn't intentionally aid for his bone.
-Hey! Just run until Captain Arica and Falcon get here!
"Damn! I want to, but he's too fast! He wasn't this strong in the original! He's not this badass!"
-Stop talking nonsense and use the flashbang!
Deadpool quickly pulled out a flashbang and threw it at the approaching Winter Soldier.
Flash!
"Ugh!"
-Now run!
"Aah! My eyes!"
Instead of running, Deadpool was also blinded and was writhing on the ground next to the Winter Soldier. I was dumbfounded.
-You idiot! Why did you get caught in it!
"We were too close, damn!"
Fortunately, thanks to his [Healing Factor], Deadpool recovered faster. He rolled to avoid the still-blind Winter Soldier's attack, quickly got up, and ran to hide among the clutter.
"Haah, haah, haah... Why aren't Falcon and Cap here yet!?"
-They're coming. Just wait.
Just then, Maria Hill contacted them.
-Five minutes left. Hurry.
-What are you guys doing? Need to help?
Tony urged them. Captain Arica replied,
-No, Sam's on his way. I'll help Eleanor.
"Yeah, hurry up and help. A beautiful woman like is being beaten up by a an-looking guy, so of course you should help!"
Tony, sounding disappointed, said,
-She is definitely beautiful... but her mouth is a problem.
Hearing fighting nearby, Deadpool cautiously peered out and saw Captain Arica fighting the Winter Soldier. While they were engaged, Deadpool retrieved his sword and a rifle and aid at the Winter Soldier.
"Surrender, Elsa!"
The two stopped fighting.
"Elsa? Why do you keep calling Elsa? Is my na Elsa?"
Captain Arica urgently said to the Winter Soldier,
"No! Your na is Bucky Barnes! Jas Buchanan Barnes! Eleanor, sorry, but let handle Bucky."
"O-okay..."
They started fighting again. Deadpool sat on so crates and watched. Then Falcon called in.
-Chip replaced.
Imdiately, Maria Hill inford them that the Helicarriers' targets had been changed.
-Good! I'm changing their targeting systems. They'll now target each other. Get out before they open fire!
Ignoring her warning, Captain Arica and Bucky continued fighting. Deadpool cautiously spoke to them.
"Um, don't you think we should get out of here?"
Captain Arica, still fighting, said to Deadpool,
"Eleanor, you go. I can't leave Bucky."
Just then, Falcon ca out onto the deck and approached the fight. He tried to join, but Deadpool stopped him, showing surprising tact.
"Sam! Take Eleanor!"
At Captain Arica's request, Falcon scooped up Deadpool and flew to the S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters roof. The Helicarriers then targeted each other and opened fire.
Thump! Thump! Thump! Thump!
Boom! KABOOM!
"Wow~ that's quite a sight, isn't it?"
"Yeah... I hope Captain Arica is okay."
Falcon and Deadpool watched the Helicarriers explode.
"He's a Super Soldier. He'll be fine."
"I suppose... not the type to die easily."
Just then, Tony also contacted them.
-I've cleared out the Hydra agents inside. How's it going over there, beautiful?
"It's over here too."
As he finished speaking, the Helicarriers, heavily damaged, began to descend. It seed that safety technology had advanced significantly since the Chitauri incident. They didn't crash imdiately.
After everything was over, with military support arriving to clean up, a search party found Captain Arica unconscious near the reservoir. He was rushed to the hospital. Judging by his severely beaten face, it seed that, like in the original story, Bucky had rescued him from the reservoir after he refused to fight back and was beaten unconscious.
I and Tony negotiated with the S.H.I.E.L.D. council and Director Fury. In exchange for taking responsibility for supporting the injured and retired agents, we were given all of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s technology and equipnt. This included the Super Soldier technology. If I hadn't gotten this, I would have had to sneak a sample of Captain Arica's blood from the hospital.
Additionally, all three damaged Helicarriers were to be salvaged and given to . They were currently being towed to Gundam Island. However, once repaired, one would be returned to Director Fury's use. Other assets included Quinjets and S.H.I.E.L.D. agents. So followed Fury, so went to Damage Control, and I also recruited so trustworthy agents into the hero business division. This included Sharon Carter, the grandniece of Peggy Carter.
And so, S.H.I.E.L.D. faded into history.
"It's over."
"Tell about it. I worked my ass off, so give a big bonus and turn back into a man."
"Okay."
I was about to give Deadpool the antidote when I saw sothing inside his body with [Eyes].
"Huh??? What the hell!!!"
"What? What's wrong?"
"Hey, you bastard! You... you're pregnant!"
I had been happy that things had gone well, but Deadpool had to ss up at the last mont.
