A day passed without incident. In London, England, the spatial distortions were intensifying. Seeing this, it seed the Convergence was truly near.

Suddenly, a pillar of light appeared next to the Odyssey-class ship. It was a beam of the Bifrost. We went outside to see who had co from Asgard. An Asgardian soldier was erging from the Bifrost.
"Prince Thor, King Odin urgently summons you. The Nine Realms are being attacked in succession by the Dark Elves."
The Dark Elves seed to be tearing through the Nine Realms, searching for the Aether. Thor urgently asked the soldier,
"Surely! Asgard wasn't attacked, was it?"
"No. Asgard is still safe."
"That's a relief. Steve, I have to return to Asgard. Please take care of Jane."
Captain Arica nodded in agreent. Just then, I also offered to go. Earth had its heroes, so they would probably be fine.
"I'll go with you. Earth can defend itself without ."
" too!"
Deadpool also wanted to go, but I stopped him.
"You're not going to fight Dark Elves; you're going to get yourself killed by Odin. Just defend Earth. Royalty and such isn't your thing."
Taking Deadpool to Asgard would cause problems even before fighting the Dark Elves, and we'd waste ti cleaning up after him. I was certain of it. Anyway, Deadpool, knowing this, readily agreed.
"Well, you're right. It's not my thing. I wanted to see the golden palace, though. Too bad."
After saying goodbye to Natasha, I went with Thor to Asgard and t Odin.
"You've probably heard, but the Dark Elves are currently attacking the Nine Realms. I believe Asgard will not be an exception."
"I've just seen the Dark Elves attack Midgard as well."
"I see. But you must be busy with Midgard's affairs. Why are you here?"
Odin asked why I was here, thinking I would have much to do since Midgard had also been attacked.
"While strong Asgard may not be a great concern, the situation on Midgard is relatively stable now, so I ca to offer what little help I can. There are people and friends here who are precious to ."

I was buttering up Asgard to Odin. Gods are proud. This was also why I hadn't brought Deadpool. Deadpool wouldn't care about such things.
I waited in my quarters while Odin and Thor went to inspect the defenses. Suddenly, I heard a commotion outside my quarters. I went out to see what was happening. Soldiers said prisoners were causing a disturbance after escaping from the prison. Like in the original story, it seed the Dark Elves had already infiltrated the prison.
So it's playing out like in the original story.
But unlike the original, Frigga probably wouldn't die. In the original, she sacrificed herself to protect Jane, but Jane and the Aether were not in Asgard now.
I went outside and waited for the Dark Elves. As expected, the Dark Elf mothership appeared on Asgard's border. Small attack craft erged from the mothership and began attacking Asgard in earnest.

Rat-tat-tat-tat~!
Asgard did not remain idle. Nurous turrets around the palace fired to shoot down the attack craft, and Asgard's own small ships sortied to fight. But the Dark Elf attack craft were agile, using blade-like protrusions on their fronts to destroy the turrets and Asgardian ships.
I took out the Levitation Cape from my inventory, put it on, and flew into the air. I threw tal balls, pre-charged with energy, causing them to explode and block the attacks. But there were so many attack craft that it was difficult to stop them all. My mobility in the air was limited.
"This is troubleso... I need to learn to fly or make so fighters soon."
Flying with the Levitation Cape and telekinesis was relatively fast, but not as fast as the attack craft. I didn't want to use my Devil Fruit abilities or teleportation in this fight.
As the battle continued, Asgard's losses seed to be mounting uncontrollably. I had no choice but to release a large number of drones from my inventory to support Asgard's ships. At first, the Asgardian soldiers were wary of the newly appeared drones, but seeing them attack the Dark Elves, they soon began to cooperate.
With the drones' support, the tide turned, and the Dark Elf attack craft began to be shot down one by one. Sensing the unfavorable turn, the Dark Elves suddenly turned and retreated towards the mothership. I directed the drones to stop pursuing and focus on defending Asgard.
After the Dark Elf mothership retreated and the situation was under control, I retrieved the drones, but many were damaged or missing. Looking around, Asgard's losses were significant. Half of the defensive turrets were destroyed, and many Asgardian ships were gone. Fortunately, civilian casualties seed low.
The reason the damage was so extensive was that the Dark Elves had infiltrated the prison and destroyed the magical device maintaining the palace's protective barrier. Loki had likely told them how.
I returned to the palace and went to see Odin. In the throne room, Odin and Thor were talking. Thor had minor cuts and bruises, having fought hard.
"Father, this is different from the Frost Giant incursion. If we continue to be attacked like this, Asgard will be in danger. For the sake of the Nine Realms, we must strike first."
Odin thought for a mont, then said,
"Yes... The Dark Elves were dealt a severe blow by King Bor in the past, and we have not touched them since. But this ti, it seems it cannot be helped."
I was very surprised by Odin's words. Always the peacekeeper, Odin must have found it difficult to make this decision. He seed to have decided to attack this ti. There were likely several reasons: Asgard had been seriously attacked, and if the Aether fell into the Dark Elves' hands, the entire universe could be plunged into darkness. Of course, since I had the Aether, that wouldn't happen.

The attacking team consisted of Captain Arica, , Wanda, Pietro, Banner, and Jessica. Banner was very excited about the prospect of visiting another planet, but Tony, still suffering from so lingering trauma, declined. I also told Deadpool he couldn't co, worried about friction with Asgard. Jessica didn't seem eager to go either, but seed to be going along because of Banner.
I explained the Dark Elves' weapons in detail to them. I would be fine, but everyone needed to be very careful of the small black hole grenades. Also, Dark Elves could transform into a cursed state using cursed stones, which could grant them power exceeding even Thor's, depending on their potential. I would like to obtain one of those stones if possible.
After finishing our preparations and saying goodbye to the other mbers, we took the Bifrost to Asgard with Thor's help. Everyone was busy marveling at the majestic Asgardian palace.
"Wow~ So this is Thor's ho. It's beautiful?"
Banner, opening the Hulk Striker's helt, looked around and admired. Thor, visibly proud, guided us through the palace, bragging about Asgard. It was understandable that he was happy his ho was being praised, but he was laying it on a bit thick.
Before eting King Odin, I explained to them about royal court etiquette. In short, don't do anything rude.
"Got it. We'll be careful."
We arrived at the throne room to et Odin. King Odin seed busy, preparing for war and giving various orders. Thor introduced us.
"King Odin, these are the warriors who have fought with us on Midgard."
After the introductions, we all bowed our heads.
"I see. Welco. Thank you for coming to fight with us. Thor, show them to their quarters. We will go together when preparations are complete."
"Understood."
We followed Thor to our quarters. On the way, Queen Frigga approached, tilted her head at Wanda, and began looking her over. Wanda looked uncomfortable. Thor introduced us to Queen Frigga.
"These are the Midgardian warriors who have co to fight alongside Asgard. And this is my mother, Queen Frigga."
After the introductions, we again bowed respectfully to Queen Frigga.
"Nice to et you. By the way, when this war is over, I would like to take this girl as my student. Would that be possible?"
I didn't know why Queen Frigga wanted this, but I guessed that the magic Frigga used originated from witches and the Darkhold. She must have sensed sothing in Wanda. Wanda, looking bewildered, glanced at , as if asking, 'What should I do?'
"Wanda, learning magic from Queen Frigga is a very good opportunity. It's not sothing you can learn just anywhere."
"R-really? Then, I look forward to working with you."
Frigga looked at Wanda fondly and said,
"I am lucky. To gain such a beautiful and talented student."
"Beautiful... you're making blush."
After finishing the introductions with Queen Frigga, we went to our quarters and rested. Banner's Hulk Striker was too large to fit in the quarters, so it was parked outside. We naturally couldn't bring spare parts; they were designed to be launched from the Odyssey-class ship, so it would have been difficult to bring them here.
We rested that day. In the evening, Thor and the Warriors Three ca and we had a simple drink. Fandral, the ladies' man of the Warriors Three, tried to hit on Jessica and Wanda, but the night ended with him getting slapped by Jessica.
The next day, it seed Asgard's preparations were complete. A long line of ships and soldiers moved toward the Bifrost. A soldier ca to inform us. We prepared and joined the formation with the Warriors Three.
