Shen Jingqi gripped the steering wheel tightly, his brain operating at high speed. He quickly turned the wheel, and the car reversed onto the road they ca from.
The chanical Giant seed to detect their intention and took giant strides, chasing after the car. The sound of its footsteps made the ground tremble, as if an earthquake was imminent.
The car sped crazily down the highway, Shen Jingqi flooring the accelerator. His eyes were fixed ahead with only one thought in his mind: escape the chanical Giant and survive.
However, the chanical Giant's speed increased, and the distance between it and the car gradually decreased. Xu An looked at the rearview mirror as the chanical Giant got closer, his heart filled with despair: "Jingqi, we can't get away, what do we do?"
Shen Jingqi didn't respond to Xu An, a hint of resolve showing in his eyes. Suddenly, he saw a narrow mountain valley ahead, its sides sheer cliffs.
"I've got it, let's enter the valley," Shen Jingqi said, quickly steering the car into the valley.
The chanical Giant reached the valley's entrance, but due to its large size, it couldn't enter. It roared angrily at the valley's entrance, swinging its massive arms, trying to smash the rocks blocking the entrance.
Shen Jingqi and Xu An stopped the car in the valley and both sighed with relief. But they didn't completely relax, knowing the chanical Giant wouldn't give up easily and would try to enter the valley.
"Jingqi, what should we do next?" Xu An looked at Shen Jingqi with expectation in his eyes.
Shen Jingqi frowned, scanning the valley for a place to hide. Suddenly, he spotted a concealed cave on one side of the valley.
"Let's go to that cave," Shen Jingqi said, and they quickly ran towards the cave.
Inside the cave, they found it spacious and dry. Shen Jingqi gathered so stones and branches to partially block the entrance, leaving a small slit to observe outside.
"We're temporarily safe, but we have to think of a way to deal with the chanical Giant," Shen Jingqi said, sitting in the cave and pondering a strategy.
Xu An looked at Shen Jingqi, filled with admiration: "Jingqi, you always have a way. I believe you can co up with a solution to deal with the chanical Giant."
Shen Jingqi nodded, various plans for dealing with the chanical Giant forming in his mind. But each plan carried certain risks, and he had to consider carefully.
While they were thinking of a strategy, a rustling sound ca from outside the cave. Shen Jingqi and Xu An were startled, quickly grabbing their weapons and watching the entrance warily.
"Is it possible the chanical Giant found us here?" Xu An asked in fear.
Shen Jingqi didn't speak, his eyes fixed on the entrance. As the sound grew nearer, a mutated chanical creature appeared at the entrance. It was shaped like a huge spider, covered with sharp spikes, its eyes glowing green.
"Not good, it's a mutated chanical creature," Shen Jingqi tensed, rushing toward the creature with his weapon.
The chanical creature saw Shen Jingqi charging and opened its large mouth, letting out a sharp scream before lunging at him. Shen Jingqi skillfully dodged its attacks while stabbing the creature's body with his weapon.
Xu An helped from the side, throwing stones at the creature to distract it. Their combined effort gradually overwheld the creature.
However, just as they thought they might defeat the creature, more rustling sounds ca from outside. Shen Jingqi and Xu An felt their hearts sink, knowing more mutated chanical creatures were coming.
"Jingqi, what do we do? There are so many chanical creatures; we're no match for them," Xu An shouted in panic.
Shen Jingqi gritted his teeth, his eyes showing a hint of determination: "Don't panic, let's hold on a bit longer; maybe we can find a chance to escape."
With more mutated chanical creatures entering the cave, Shen Jingqi and Xu An felt increased pressure. Wounds started appearing on their bodies, and blood stained their clothes. But they didn't give up, fiercely resisting the creatures' attacks.
Just as despair lood over them, a massive explosion sounded outside the cave. The chanical creatures seed distracted by the explosion and ran towards the cave's exit.
Shen Jingqi and Xu An felt a surge of joy. They didn't know what happened outside, but it was their chance to escape. They quickly grabbed their weapons and followed the creatures out of the cave.
When they erged from the cave, they saw the chanical Giant battling a group of mysterious people. These mysterious figures wore odd attire, wielding advanced weapons, their attacks overwhelming the chanical Giant.
"Jingqi, who are these people? How did they get here?" Xu An asked in surprise.
Shen Jingqi shook his head, also unaware of the strangers' origins. But he knew it was a good chance to escape the chanical Giant. He pulled Xu An to the side to watch the battle unfold.
Under the mysterious people's assault, the chanical Giant was gradually overwheld. It was covered in wounds, its movents becoming sluggish. Suddenly, a leader among the strangers raised his weapon, firing a beam of intense light directly at the chanical Giant's core.
The chanical Giant let out a massive roar and then fell to the ground with a crash. The mutated chanical creatures, seeing the Giant collapse, scattered in all directions.
The setting sun looked like blood, dyeing the horizon a strange orange-red. The mysterious people stood silently at the chaotic battle's edge, their gazes coolly surveying the surroundings. The smoke hadn't completely dissipated, lingering in the air with a sharp tallic burn and a faint scent of blood. The fierce battle had just ended, shattered chanical parts were scattered everywhere, so still sparking, hissing like they were recounting the battle's brutality.
Shen Jingqi and Xu An hid behind a huge rock, their hearts still pounding. Their breaths were rapid and heavy, sweat forming beads on their foreheads, their shirts soaked with cold sweat. The chanical Giant's huge body, fierce attacks, and deafening roars still haunted their minds like a nightmare. Each boom felt like a sledgehamr striking their hearts.
