Just at that mont, he felt a surge of hope, as if he'd grasped a lifeline: "Xu An, attack their chest!"
The two imdiately changed their attack strategy, focusing on targeting the chest of the mutated chanical creatures. Shen Jingqi seized the opportunity, leapt high, and fiercely stabbed the tool in his hand into the chest of one chanical creature. That chanical creature let out a painful roar, its body swayed a few tis, and then it crashed heavily to the ground. Xu An refused to lag behind; he dodged to the side, avoiding the attack of a chanical creature, then seized the chance to smash fiercely at the chest of another chanical creature with his weapon.
Indeed, this tactic worked. After being struck on the chest, the mutated chanical creatures cried out in pain, their movents growing sluggish. They appeared lost and flailed their claws around wildly, emitting harsh tallic scraping noises.
Shen Jingqi and Xu An took advantage of the situation to intensify their attack, knocking down those mutated chanical creatures one by one. Even though their bodies had acquired new wounds, their eyes were filled with excitent and hope. However, before they could catch their breath, a deeper and more nacing roar echoed. The sound seed to co from the depths of Hell, carrying a pressure that made souls tremble, causing the entire valley to shudder.
"Oh no, there's sothing even more formidable!" Shen Jingqi thought with surprise, and shouted. His eyes revealed a hint of fear, but more prominently displayed determination. He tightened his grip on the tool in his hand, ready to et the new challenge.
His words had barely fallen when a gigantic figure slowly erged from the fog. It was a chanical monster even more huge than the previously encountered chanical Giant, covered with sharp spikes, each like a sharp dagger glinting coldly. Its eyes glowed with ominous light, like burning flas threatening to devour everything.
"It's over, we're really dood this ti." Xu An said in despair, his legs weakening, nearly collapsing to the ground. His eyes were filled with fear and hopelessness, as if seeing the end of his life.
Shen Jingqi clenched his fists tightly, his hands turning pale from the force, fingernails digging deep into his palms. But he didn't back down, his eyes revealing an unyielding spirit: "No, we can't give up!" Saying this, he rushed towards the gigantic chanical monster.
The chanical monster, seeing Shen Jingqi charging forward, let out a deafening roar and swung its massive claw ferociously at Shen Jingqi. Shen Jingqi nimbly dodged, avoiding the strike. But the chanical monster's claw hit the ground heavily, raising a cloud of dust and making the earth tremble.
Seizing the opportunity during the chanical monster's attack pause, Shen Jingqi maneuvered behind it and fiercely stabbed at its leg with his tool. However, the chanical monster's leg was incredibly tough, seemingly forged from steel, with only a shallow mark left from the tool. The chanical monster felt the attack from behind, and swiftly turned around, using its gigantic body to ram at Shen Jingqi. Shen Jingqi couldn't evade quickly enough and was flung outward, crashing heavily to the ground.
"Jingqi!" Xu An shouted in terror, disregarding his own danger and ran towards Shen Jingqi. He helped Shen Jingqi up, his eyes full of worry: "Are you okay?"
Shen Jingqi shook his head, enduring the pain on his body, and said: "I'm fine, we can't give up. Though this chanical monster is strong, it must have a weakness." His eyes showed determination as he continuously observed the chanical monster's movents.
The two prepared for battle again. The chanical monster roared and charged at them once more, swinging its huge claws with great montum. Shen Jingqi and Xu An closely watched the chanical monster's actions, waiting for the best opportunity.
When the chanical monster's claws were about to strike them, Shen Jingqi shouted: "It's now!" The two simultaneously charged at the chanical monster's neck. Shen Jingqi leapt high and fiercely stabbed his tool into that gap. Xu An also used all his strength, smashing at the sa spot with his weapon.
With a "crack," the chanical monster's neck emitted a breaking sound. Its body swayed a few tis, then slowly fell to the ground, emitting a thunderous noise. Dust billowed, and the entire valley trembled from the impact.
Shen Jingqi and Xu An collapsed to the ground, gasping heavily. Their bodies were covered with wounds and blood, but their eyes were filled with joy and pride. They had successfully overco this powerful chanical monster, temporarily escaping danger.
However, they were acutely aware that this was far from over. The chanical Giant was like a persistent nightmare, perhaps at this mont, trudging heavily in pursuit. The thought of the chanical Giant's enormous and terrifying body, along with its ability to crush everything effortlessly, tightened Shen Jingqi and Xu An's hearts. They knew they must race against ti, quickly repair the vehicle, and escape this extrely dangerous place.
Shen Jingqi forcefully ignored the piercing pain from all over his body, every step feeling like countless needles stabbing him at once. But he gritted his teeth and uttered not a sound, once again dragging heavy steps to the front of the car. His gaze was focused and determined, as if external disturbances couldn't affect him. He slowly squatted down, his hands gently placed on the engine, as if caressing a precious treasure, or exploring a mystery hiding imnse secrets.
"Jingqi, be careful, don't let your wounds tear open again." Xu An said worriedly beside him, his eyes filled with concern and tension. His hands unconsciously clenched into fists, knuckles turning white from the force.
Shen Jingqi nodded slightly without speaking, and began carefully examining the engine. His eyes were like a scanner, missing no detail. Fingers lightly moved over the various components of the engine, feeling their temperature and vibrations. His brows sotis furrowed, sotis relaxed, seemingly engaged in a silent dialogue with the engine.
"The wiring seems a bit problematic, maybe it got loosened during the jostling earlier." Shen Jingqi murmured, his voice carrying a hint of uncertainty. Fine beads of sweat appeared on his forehead, sliding down his cheeks, and disappearing instantly upon hitting the engine.
Hearing this, Xu An hurriedly ca over, his eyes fixed on the engine: "What can we do? Can we repair it?" His voice carried a hint of urgency, his gaze expressing reliance on Shen Jingqi.
Shen Jingqi took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down: "It should be possible, though it's a bit tricky. Xu An, go bring the toolbox, we need to reconnect the wires." His tone was calm, but his gaze revealed a hint of worry. He was concerned about the lack of ti and feared the chanical Giant might catch up at any mont.
