"If you want the box and the docunts, it's not that easy!" Shen Jingqi shouted loudly, his voice echoing in the corridor, full of power. He gripped the weapon in his hand tightly, a dagger they accidentally found in the laboratory, crude but at this mont their only reliance.
Xu An also stood by Shen Jingqi's side, his gaze fixed and determined as he looked at the robots and said, "We won't give up easily. Don't think you can succeed."
One of the robots waved its weapon and shouted, "If you don't hand it over, there's only one way left — death!"
As soon as the words were spoken, the robots charged toward them. Shen Jingqi and Xu An quickly stood back to back, watching their surroundings vigilantly. A robot was the first to rush at them, swinging its weapon at Shen Jingqi. Shen Jingqi sidestepped swiftly, evading the attack, then quickly stabbed the robot's arm with the dagger. There was a "crack," and the robot's arm was sliced open, but it wasn't significantly damaged.
Another robot took the opportunity to attack Xu An from the side. Xu An nimbly dodged and then kicked the robot on the body. The robot staggered back a few steps but soon steadied itself and charged at them again.
The battle was extrely intense. Although Shen Jingqi and Xu An struggled to resist, the robots were too nurous. They gradually found themselves overwheld. A robot's weapon grazed Shen Jingqi's shoulder, cutting a gash in his clothes. Blood stained his garnt red.
"Shen Jingqi, are you okay?" Xu An shouted anxiously, his eyes filled with concern.
Shen Jingqi gritted his teeth and said, "I'm fine, keep fighting!"
Just when they were feeling desperate, they suddenly heard a strange sound. It seed to be coming from afar, yet also right beside their ears. Upon hearing this sound, the robots seed to be disturbed by sothing, their movents becoming sluggish.
Shen Jingqi and Xu An exchanged a glance, a glimr of hope rising in their hearts. Seizing this opportunity, they intensified their assault. Shen Jingqi stabbed several robots in their vital parts with the dagger, and Xu An also used all his strength, kicking down several robots.
The sound grew clearer, as if a mysterious force was aiding them. The robots gradually couldn't withstand their attacks and started retreating. Shen Jingqi and Xu An took the opportunity to break through the encirclent and ran desperately towards the end of the corridor.
They didn't know where the sound ca from, nor what was helping them, but at this mont, they couldn't afford to be concerned with that. They only thought about escaping these robots and finding a safe place as quickly as possible.
Finally, they reached a spot that looked like a safe exit. The door was tightly shut, but there was a code lock beside it. Shen Jingqi and Xu An quickly searched for clues around them, hoping to unlock the code lock.
"Quick, see if there's any hint around." Shen Jingqi said anxiously, his eyes scanning the surroundings rapidly.
Xu An nodded and began to carefully examine the environnt. Suddenly, he spotted a strange painting on the wall, which seed to have so numbers and symbols. His eyes lit up, and he shouted, "Shen Jingqi, look at this painting!"
Shen Jingqi quickly ran over, and together with Xu An, studied the painting. After so thought, they finally unlocked the code lock. The door slowly opened, and a rush of fresh air hit their faces.
They quickly rushed out the door to find themselves in an abandoned factory. A pungent sll perated the factory, and various pieces of machinery were placed haphazardly. Shen Jingqi and Xu An cautiously moved through the factory, constantly on guard for possible dangers around them.
"Let's get out of here, those robots might catch up." Xu An said, his eyes filled with vigilance.
The two searched around the factory, finally finding a beat-up car. Although the car looked shabby, it could still start. Shen Jingqi and Xu An quickly opened the car doors and got inside.
Shen Jingqi sat in the driver's seat and started the car. The car roared and slowly started moving forward. Just when they thought they had finally escaped danger, they suddenly saw a group of robots in front. These robots seed to have anticipated that they would pass through here and were waiting in formation.
The abandoned factory was filled with a pungent oil sll and the scent of decaying tal. Dim light shone through the broken windows, casting mottled shadows on the ground, adding to the eerie atmosphere of the silent space.
"Not good, we're surrounded again!" Xu An suddenly turned his head, looking at the robots gradually closing in, his pupils contracting sharply, his eyes instantly filled with despair. The robots were tall, their tal exteriors glead coldly in the faint light, like a group of steel demons from Hell. They were ard with various weapons, stepping steadily and forcefully, each step seed to press on Xu An's heart, making it feel as if his heart was about to stop beating.
Shen Jingqi clenched his jaw tightly, the muscles on his cheeks bulging from exertion. His hands gripped the steering wheel so hard that his knuckles turned white. "Don't panic, we'll charge through!" His voice was low and firm, carrying an undeniable resolve, but only he knew, at that mont, his heart was also filled with tension and unease, like a lone boat in a storm, ready to be swallowed by the surging waves at any mont.
He fiercely stepped on the accelerator, the car roared low and angrily, like an enraged beast, suddenly rushing forward. The tires screeched against the ground, kicking up a cloud of dust that ford a yellow haze in the dim light.
The robots raised their weapons, the gun muzzles flashing with cold, lethal light. Bullets rained toward the car, the "bang bang" sound echoed in the silent factory, like the death knell of doom. Shen Jingqi gripped the steering wheel tightly, his eyes locked on the road ahead, fine beads of sweat appearing on his forehead. His mind worked rapidly, judging every potential danger, struggling to control the car's direction, dodging the robots' attacks.
"Left side! Watch out!" Xu An suddenly shouted, his body trembling slightly from tension, his hands gripping the seat edge tightly. A robot was rapidly closing in from the left, aiming its weapon at the car. Shen Jingqi reacted swiftly, jerking the steering wheel, causing the car to make a sharp turn in the narrow space, narrowly brushing past the robot. The bullets fired by the robot hit the nearby wall, sparking brightly.
"Damn, these robots are like locusts, we can't shake them off!" Shen Jingqi cursed, his eyes reflecting a hint of anger and helplessness. He continued to accelerate, turn, and evade, the car weaving left and right amidst the robots, like a fish struggling in turbulent waters.
A robot chased from behind, extending a chanical arm, attempting to grab the rear of the car.
