Shen Jingqi frowned, the doubts in his heart growing like wild vines: "Wait, Haotian, explain clearly first, what's going on here?"

Yang Haotian's expression beca sowhat anxious: "Now's not the ti to talk about this, we need to go back quickly, your dear senior... she's..."

"What happened to Senior?" Shen Jingqi interrupted him, feeling increasingly uneasy.

Yang Haotian sighed: "She's not doing well, let's talk while we walk."

Shen Jingqi gritted his teeth, full of doubts, but thinking about the possible danger to his senior, he nodded and turned to walk back with Yang Haotian.

The rooms on both sides of the corridor seed to blur, and their footsteps echoed in the empty hallway, carrying an indescribable eerie feeling.

"Haotian, you previously said the address didn't exist, so why has it appeared now?" Shen Jingqi couldn't help but ask again.

Yang Haotian continued walking, a hint of helplessness in his tone: "I don't know how to explain it, but that place does exist, it's just... special, not just anyone can find it."

"Special? What do you an?" Shen Jingqi pursued.

Yang Haotian glanced back at him: "Do you believe in parallel worlds?"

Shen Jingqi was stunned for a mont: "Parallel worlds? Are you saying this place... is another world?"

"You could say that, but it's not entirely accurate." Yang Haotian shook his head, "This place connects different spaces and tis, sotis certain people inadvertently stumble in here."

Shen Jingqi listened, dumbfounded, yet an inexplicable chill rose in his heart: "How do we get out?"

"There's only one way, find the connection point." Yang Haotian said solemnly, "I've been looking for it before, didn't expect you to find it first."

"Connection point? Where is it?" Shen Jingqi asked urgently.

Yang Haotian pointed ahead: "It should be not far ahead, I had marked it before."

As he said this, they arrived in front of a closed door, with strange symbols painted on it.

Shen Jingqi looked at those symbols, a strange sense of familiarity surged in his heart: "These... I've seen them sowhere."

"No ti to think about that, open the door." Yang Haotian urged.

Shen Jingqi took a deep breath, reached out and grasped the doorknob, twisting it forcefully.

The door slowly opened, a gust of cold wind rushed in, carrying a chilling aura.

Shen Jingqi and Yang Haotian exchanged a glance, stepping in without hesitation.

As soon as they entered, the scene in front of Shen Jingqi left him stunned.

It was a huge space, dark all around, with only a weak beam of light illuminating the center. In that beam of light, a transparent sphere floated, with sothing inside seemingly rotating slowly.

"Is this the connection point?" Shen Jingqi asked in surprise.

Yang Haotian nodded: "That's right, once we pass through that sphere, we can return to the original place."

With that, he was the first to step toward the sphere.

Shen Jingqi followed closely, filled with both anticipation and so apprehension.

As they approached the sphere, a sudden intense dizziness hit, almost causing them to lose balance.

"Hang in there, we're almost there." Yang Haotian said, gritting his teeth.

Shen Jingqi clenched his teeth, trying hard to stay awake.

Just as they were about to touch the sphere, a powerful force pulled them in abruptly.

After a bout of swirling dizziness, when they opened their eyes again, they were standing in a familiar place.

"Are we back?" Shen Jingqi couldn't believe his eyes, looking around.

Yang Haotian nodded: "That's right, we're back."

It was then that Shen Jingqi realized they were standing in the hallway of the school's psychology center.

"Quick, your senior is inside." Yang Haotian said, pushing the door open and rushing in.

Shen Jingqi followed closely, full of worry for Li Baiyu.

They ran all the way to the counseling room door, finding it ajar, with subdued conversation coming from inside.

Yang Haotian gently pushed open the door, seeing Li Baiyu sitting on a chair, opposite a middle-aged woman they had never seen before.

The woman had a fair complexion, delicate features, sitting there like a statue.

"Senior!" Shen Jingqi couldn't help but call out.

Li Baiyu looked up, surprised to see them: "Why are you only back now?"

Shen Jingqi and Yang Haotian exchanged a glance, a foreboding feeling rising in their hearts: "Are you alright, Senior?"

Li Baiyu shook her head: "I'm fine."

"We... we ca back to find you." Shen Jingqi stamred a bit.

Li Baiyu frowned slightly: "Find ? Why?"

Shen Jingqi was about to speak, but Yang Haotian interrupted: "Leave now, no more talking about this."

Li Baiyu beca more puzzled: "Leave? Why?"

"No ti to explain, let's go." Yang Haotian said, stepping forward to grab Li Baiyu's arm.

Li Baiyu struggled, trying to pull away: "Wait, what are you talking about? Why should I go with you?"

At this mont, the middle-aged woman suddenly stood up, a strange smile on her face: "Want to leave? It's not that easy."

Shen Jingqi and Yang Haotian beca alert at once, blocking Li Baiyu: "Who are you? What do you want?"

The middle-aged woman didn't answer, just slowly reaching out and taking out a gun.

"You are no match for her, run." Yang Haotian suddenly shouted.

Shen Jingqi turned and dragged Li Baiyu, running toward the door.

However, when they reached the door, it was tightly closed for so reason, no matter how hard they pushed, it wouldn't open.

"What now?" Shen Jingqi asked anxiously.

Yang Haotian looked around, his gaze falling on the window: "Out the window!"

With that, he rushed to the window, pushing it open hard, then jumped out.

Shen Jingqi followed closely, pulling Li Baiyu out as well.

They landed on a patch of grass, painfully but with no ti to spare, quickly getting up and running forward.

The laughter of the middle-aged woman echoed behind them, unsettling them even more.

They didn't know how long they'd run, until exhausted and unable to move, finally stopping.

The middle-aged woman's laughter was no longer audible.

"Are we safe?" Shen Jingqi asked, gasping for breath.

Yang Haotian shook his head: "Not sure, but we should be okay for now."

Li Baiyu looked at them gratefully: "Thank you for solving that trouble for , and sorry for scaring you."

Shen Jingqi rubbed his back, slowly asking: "Senior, do you know that woman? What was that all about?"

Li Baiyu sighed and said softly: "That woman... is a psychological shadow of another ."
