Shen Jingqi looked at the phone screen, his brows tightly knitted.

Yang Haotian's ssage was like a pebble thrown into the already turbulent sea of his heart, stirring up ripples upon ripples.

"What's wrong?" Li Baiyu noticed the change in Shen Jingqi's expression and asked with concern.

Shen Jingqi looked up, his gaze lingering on Li Baiyu's face for a mont, as if weighing sothing, but in the end decided to put the phone matter aside for now.

"Nothing, let's continue." Shen Jingqi shook his head, put the phone back in his pocket, and refocused his attention on Li Baiyu, "You ntioned you were investigating childhood matters earlier? Can you elaborate?"

A flicker of complex emotions flashed through Li Baiyu's eyes, and she gently bit her lip, seeming to hesitate whether to reveal everything.

"Actually... I have always felt that so of my childhood mories are vague," Li Baiyu started slowly, her voice deep and magnetic, "Lately, I've begun to suspect that there might be so unknown secrets hidden behind those vague mories."

"Unknown secrets?" Shen Jingqi repeated Li Baiyu's words, his curiosity thoroughly piqued.

Li Baiyu nodded and continued, "Yes, I always feel like my childhood was not as peaceful as it seems on the surface. My parents always kept sothing from , and whenever I tried to ask, they would always brush it off with various excuses."

Listening to Li Baiyu's story, Shen Jingqi couldn't help but feel a surge of sympathy. He could sense the struggle and confusion within Li Baiyu and understood how painful it was to be kept in the dark by one's family.

"So how do you plan to investigate?" Shen Jingqi asked, his tone carrying a hint of concern.

Li Baiyu took a deep breath and said, "I plan to start investigating from the place where I lived as a child. There might be so clues there. However, it's a small town far from here."

"The place you lived as a child?" Shen Jingqi repeated Li Baiyu's words, a thought suddenly flashing through his mind.

"You an... the town where you lived?"

Li Baiyu nodded, a trace of sadness flickering in her eyes undetectably, "Yes, that town. It holds all my childhood mories and the answers I've been seeking."

Shen Jingqi looked at Li Baiyu's determined eyes, ripples arising in his heart once again.

At that mont, Shen Jingqi's phone rang again, interrupting his thoughts. He glanced at the screen, another ssage from Yang Haotian.

"Has Cong Nanxue still not responded?" Shen Jingqi looked at the ssage.

Li Baiyu's attention was completely drawn to the information on Shen Jingqi's phone.

Shen Jingqi quickly replied to Yang Haotian's ssage and then put the phone back in his pocket. Turning to Li Baiyu, he said, "I agree with your idea; let's go to your town. However, Cong Nanxue has so situation here, and I need to handle it first."

Just then, Shen Jingqi's phone rang again. He glanced at the screen; it was a call from Yang Haotian.

Shen Jingqi quickly answered the call, asking, "How is it? Any news on Cong Nanxue?"

Yang Haotian's voice sounded on the other end, with a hint of urgency: "I searched her residence based on the address from Cong Nanxue's information, but the place is deserted. Neighbors say she hasn't been back for a long ti."

Hearing this, Shen Jingqi's heart sank. He hadn't expected that Cong Nanxue would disappear so mysteriously.

"Did she leave any clues or contact information?" Shen Jingqi pressed on.

Yang Haotian shook his head, "No, I asked the neighbors and the property managent, and they all said Cong Nanxue was a very mysterious person, rarely interacting with others. Moreover, she left without telling anyone."

Shen Jingqi hung up the phone, feeling lost and puzzled. He turned to look at Li Baiyu and found her watching him too.

"What do we do?" Shen Jingqi asked, his tone carrying a hint of helplessness.

Just when they were about to succumb to despair, Yang Haotian suddenly invited Shen Jingqi to the psychology studio, suggesting they get familiar with the place and communicate with the staff to gather so information.

"Exactly, maybe there will be so clues about Cong Nanxue there," Shen Jingqi said, his eyes gleaming with hope.

Upon hearing this, Li Baiyu imdiately perked up. She looked at Shen Jingqi and said, "Yes, let's go to the psychology studio right away."

They quickly sprang into action and drove to the psychology studio. Along the way, they felt both tense and expectant.

Finally, they arrived at the entrance of the psychology studio. Shen Jingqi took a deep breath and then pushed open the door to enter.

"Teacher Shen, hello, this is so information on Cong Nanxue."

The receptionist handed over a file.

Shen Jingqi's gaze fell on the file, where the na "Cong Nanxue" was boldly written.

Shen Jingqi swiftly picked up the file and examined it closely. Flipping to the back, he found that the file was Cong Nanxue's personal experience profile.

"Look here." Shen Jingqi pointed to a segnt in the docunt, "This part, Cong Nanxue wrote a lot; it seems to be a section that she felt had the greatest impact on her, let's take a closer look."

Li Baiyu nodded in agreent. As she looked at the docunt in Shen Jingqi's hand, a surge of inexplicable feeling welled up in her heart. She had a hunch that there were so unknown secrets hidden behind this docunt.

The two of them started to carefully study the information Cong Nanxue had filled out. They discovered that Cong Nanxue had significantly described her childhood and so traumas she had experienced.

"It seems that Cong Nanxue's childhood was not as pleasant as we imagined." Shen Jingqi said, his tone carrying a hint of sympathy.

Li Baiyu nodded in agreent. Looking at the text in the records, she couldn't help but feel a sense of resonance. She understood how indescribable the pain of being hurt by family was.

Just then, Shen Jingqi suddenly noticed sothing strange in the docunt. He pointed to a na on the docunt, saying, "Look here, this code na seems sowhat familiar."

Li Baiyu leaned in and saw that the na's code was BY.

"How could this be?" Li Baiyu exclaid, her face full of shock and confusion.

Seeing Li Baiyu's reaction, Shen Jingqi was equally surprised. He hadn't expected such a code na to appear in Cong Nanxue's psychological counseling records.

BY, is that Baiyu's initials?

"Could it be that there's sothing in here related to your childhood experience, but you just can't rember it?"

Shen Jingqi hypothesized.

"I don't know," Li Baiyu replied, her fingers trembling as she clutched the file.
