Shen Jingqi was silent for a mont, then said, "Senior, I think we should go find Professor Chen. He's a psychology expert, maybe he can give us so advice."

Li Baiyu nodded in agreent. She knew that what they needed most now was professional help and advice. So, the two quickly finished washing up, got dressed, and left the villa.

On the way, they didn't talk, each lost in their own thoughts. Shen Jingqi was filled with confusion and unease; he didn't know why Lin Xiaocan suddenly disappeared, nor why Li Baiyu appeared here. Everything seed too strange and unbelievable.

Soon, they arrived at Professor Chen's office. Professor Chen was organizing materials inside and nodded with a smile when he saw them enter, "Oh, Jingqi. What's the matter?"

Shen Jingqi and Li Baiyu exchanged a glance, then Shen Jingqi spoke, "Professor Chen, we've encountered so strange things and need your help."

Professor Chen put down the materials in his hand, gesturing for them to sit down, "Go ahead, what difficulties have you encountered?"

So, Shen Jingqi recounted the events of the previous night to Professor Chen. After listening, Professor Chen frowned deeply and fell into thought.

"This situation is indeed very rare." Professor Chen slowly opened his mouth, "In psychology, we call this phenonon 'personality conversion.' It usually occurs in patients with Multiple Personalities Disorder. However, usually, personality conversion requires environntal factors."

"What should we do now?" Li Baiyu asked anxiously.

Professor Chen pondered for a mont, then said, "I think we need to conduct a series of psychological tests on Li Baiyu to determine if she truly has Multiple Personalities Disorder. At the sa ti, we also need to find out the reason for Lin Xiaocan's disappearance."

Shen Jingqi nodded in agreent. They knew it was the only feasible solution at the mont. Thus, under Professor Chen's arrangent, Li Baiyu underwent a series of psychological tests. The test results showed that she indeed had Multiple Personalities Disorder, and Lin Xiaocan was one of her sub-personalities.

"Now, we need to find the reason for Lin Xiaocan's disappearance," Professor Chen said.

Shen Jingqi and Li Baiyu both fell into contemplation. They knew that to find the reason for Lin Xiaocan's disappearance, they had to deeply understand her inner world. But this was not easy. After all, they were not professional psychologists.

At this mont, Professor Chen suddenly proposed a suggestion: "Perhaps we can try using hypnosis to let Li Baiyu enter Lin Xiaocan's inner world and search for clues."

Around the recliner were various psychological instrunts whose nas she couldn't recall. The air was filled with a faint scent of lavender, which Professor Chen had prepared specifically to relax the nerves.

"Are you ready, Li Baiyu?" Professor Chen's voice was low and magnetic, as if it could penetrate the human heart. He was a renowned hypnosis master in the field of psychology, especially adept at helping people explore deep inner secrets and the unknown through hypnosis.

Li Baiyu took a deep breath and nodded. In Professor Chen's deep eyes, she searched for a certain answer or comfort. She knew that tonight, she would embark on an unprecedented journey of the mind.

Professor Chen gently pressed the play button on the recorder, and a gentle piano tune flowed out, enveloping Li Baiyu like a soft stream. He gestured for Li Baiyu to lie down, then gently adjusted her head's position to ensure she could comfortably enter a hypnotic state.

"Relax, relax your body, start from your toes, slowly upwards, until the top of your head." Professor Chen's voice was like a hypnotic spell, guiding Li Baiyu to gradually relax.

Following Professor Chen's instructions, Li Baiyu felt her body beco soft bit by bit, as if lifted by an invisible force. Her heartbeat gradually steadied, and her breathing beca deep and elongated.

"Now, you see darkness in front of you. What do you see in this darkness?" Professor Chen's voice gently sounded by her ear, like distant chis, lingering and profound.

Li Baiyu tried hard to find sothing in the darkness, but all she saw was a blur. She felt a bit anxious but soon told herself to relax and trust Professor Chen.

"It's okay, take it slow. Deep within you, there's a door. This door is locked, but now, I want you to imagine you have a key, a key that can open this door." Professor Chen's voice remained steady and firm.

In her mind, Li Baiyu imagined a key, sensing its shape, texture, even feeling its cold touch. She tried hard to align the key with that ethereal door and then gently turned it.

With a "click," sothing seed to break deep within Li Baiyu's heart. She felt a strong current rush from her feet to her head, and her body involuntarily trembled.

"Very good, you're doing well. Now, the door is open. What do you see?" Professor Chen's voice carried a subtle excitent.

Li Baiyu saw it. She saw a vast ocean, waves crashing against rocks with a thunderous sound. In the center of the ocean, there was a lonely island, and on the island was a lighthouse, its light flickering in the darkness as if guiding sothing.

"Tell , what does the lighthouse represent?" Professor Chen's voice was urgent and filled with anticipation.

Li Baiyu wanted to say sothing, but it was as if sothing blocked her throat. She struggled hard, trying to make a sound.

"It's okay, take it slow. You can do it." Professor Chen's voice was like a warm spring breeze, dispelling the haze in Li Baiyu's heart.

Finally, Li Baiyu spoke, "That lighthouse... it is ... it is the hope deep inside my heart." Her voice was weak but firm and clear.

Professor Chen nodded, a trace of satisfaction flashing in his eyes. He continued to guide Li Baiyu deeper: "Then, what about that small island? What does it represent?"

Li Baiyu fell into thought once more. She carefully observed the island, feeling its presence. She discovered that the island was not lonely; it was surrounded by various creatures living harmoniously together, creating a beautiful ecosystem.

"That small island... it is ... it is my inner world." Li Baiyu's voice carried a hint of joy and pride.

"Very good, you're doing well. Now, I want you to return to that door. But this ti, don't open it. Instead, stand in front of it and observe it carefully." Professor Chen's voice remained steady and firm.

Following Professor Chen's instructions, Li Baiyu returned to the door. She observed it carefully, feeling its texture and temperature. She discovered that strange symbols and patterns were engraved on the door, as if they were telling so ancient and mysterious story.

"What do you see? What do those symbols and patterns represent?" Professor Chen's voice carried a hint of urgency.

Li Baiyu shook her head; she felt as if her brain was bound by sothing, unable to think deeply. She struggled hard, trying to break free from this confinent.

"It's okay, take it slow. You can do it." Professor Chen's voice was like warm sunlight, illuminating the darkness in Li Baiyu's heart.

Suddenly, Li Baiyu felt a strong force surge from deep within her heart. She pushed open the door with a sudden force, and then she saw...

A pitch-black void.
