"I didn't expect the first jujutsu sorcerer I'd run into would be you, i i."

Hearing her na spoken so casually, i i narrowed her eyes, carefully studying the young man in front of her.

She had already morized the faces of both curse users and sorcerers expected to be involved in the Night Parade of a Hundred Demons.

But the boy standing before her—

He wasn't one of Geto's curse users, but he wasn't from Jujutsu High either.

Yet, he had sohow entered Shinjuku, passed through the curtain, and called her by na—

That ant he was far from ordinary.

i i's mind sharpened, her instincts on high alert.

But her expression?

A charming smile, her voice silky smooth.

"My, my~ Handso boys sure are dangerous these days. Would you mind telling why you're here?"

Ryuu tilted his head, his tone casual.

"I owe soone a favor, so I figured I'd lend a hand."

Hearing that, i i nodded in understanding.

All of Jujutsu High's strongest sorcerers were already here—

Including Gojo Satoru himself.

They didn't need extra backup.

"Then that ans…"

In the very next second—

A terrifying burst of speed exploded beneath i i's feet.

Three ters in a blink. Four ters in the next.

In a single motion, she switched the grip on her massive battle axe—

And brought it down on Ryuu's head.

BOOM!

The ground cracked apart, the force sending debris flying into the air.

But then—

i i's eyes widened in shock.

Her attack had phased straight through him.

Even her own body had passed through him like an illusion.

Instinct scread—

She leaped backward, quickly reassessing.

"A projection technique? Or a curse technique that makes his body intangible…?"

anwhile, Ryuu turned, looking at her with a mocking grin.

"Wow, that was dangerous~ Didn't even give a chance to introduce myself."

He sighed in mock relief.

"I even went easy on you, but I guess that wasn't necessary."

i i rested her battle axe on her shoulder, her smirk returning.

"So, you're with Geto after all?"

"Not exactly," Ryuu shrugged. "I'm here to help him, but I'm not one of his curse users."

"Is that so?"

i i didn't hesitate.

She vanished from sight, reappearing directly in front of him—

And swung her axe once more.

Her cursed energy roared, the sheer force capable of cleaving through a first-grade curse spirit.

But—

Once again, it phased straight through Ryuu's body.

i i's expression remained calm.

Without stopping, she twisted mid-motion, pulling back her axe—

And unleashed a flurry of four consecutive strikes.

Each faster than the last.

But—

Not a single one landed.

"This is getting ridiculous," she muttered.

Ryuu let out an exaggerated sigh.

"I already told you—I'm not on either side. So, could you stop trying to kill ?"

And this ti—

He threw a punch of his own.

i i stood her ground, raising her arm to block.

The impact—

Was real.

A split-second later—

i i's body blasted backward, her back smashing through a concrete wall several ters away.

A cloud of dust erupted from the impact.

"Confird," i i muttered, standing up and dusting herself off.

She wasn't badly hurt.

But that simple punch—

Was far heavier than expected.

anwhile—

Atsushi Kusakabe appeared behind Ryuu, sword drawn.

"New Shadow Style: Quick Draw!"

He channeled his cursed energy into the blade, slashing at lightning-fast speeds—

But—

The sword phased straight through Ryuu's body.

Kusakabe's instincts scread at him.

He imdiately jumped back, switching to a defensive stance.

"Miss i, are you alright?"

"Not bad." i i smirked. "I think I understand his technique now."

Her gaze locked onto Ryuu.

"He makes his body intangible at will, making most attacks useless. But the mont he throws a punch, he has to turn solid."

Kusakabe's eyes narrowed.

"I see. That makes things a little easier."

Ryuu chuckled.

"Underestimating , Kusakabe? That's gonna be a problem."

i i cracked her neck.

"Let's test it out, then."

She and Kusakabe moved at the sa ti—

One attacking, the other parrying.

Kusakabe's blade slashed forward—

Straight through Ryuu's intangible body.

Ryuu countered with a punch, targeting Kusakabe's stomach.

i i seized the opening, swinging her axe at full force.

But—

Instead of solidifying to punch, Ryuu's fist remained intangible—

Yet sohow—

Kusakabe was still sent flying backward.

i i's axe missed entirely.

Her eyes narrowed.

"Wait a minute—"

She barely had ti to process—

Before Ryuu effortlessly slipped past her guard—

And swung his leg up for a devastating kick.

But—

CLAP!

A loud applause echoed through the battlefield.

And in an instant—

Ryuu vanished from his spot.

Appearing right in front of a wall of muscle.

"Oi, oi. This is getting interesting."

Aoi Todo.

His massive fist rocketed forward, colliding with Ryuu's kick mid-air.

BOOM!

The resulting shockwave shattered the pavent beneath them.

Cursed energy flared violently, sending winds whipping in every direction.

For a mont—

The two fighters were locked in place, neither one budging.

Then—

Ryuu's cursed energy spiked even further.

His right leg twisted—

And with a burst of force, he launched Todo like a cannonball straight toward Kusakabe.

"Tch—!" Kusakabe barely had ti to react—

But Todo—

"BOOGIE WOOGIE!"

CLAP!

Their positions swapped instantly.

Kusakabe and i i were now far away—

And in their place—

A flock of crows, enhanced with cursed energy, rushed toward Ryuu.

BOOM!

A violent explosion erupted, the ground shattering under the impact.

For a brief mont, silence fell.

But as the dust cleared—

Ryuu stood unhard, his expression unreadable.

i i narrowed her eyes.

"That technique… Not even Gojo Satoru could brush it off so easily."

She exhaled slowly.

"What an annoying opponent."

Kusakabe clenched his sword.

"So that's the guy Geto was talking about…"

Todo cracked his knuckles, grinning.

"Alright! Now I'm excited!"

Ryuu?

He just grinned back.

"I gotta say—this is way more fun than I expected."

And with that—

The real fight began.
