In the end, Ryuu didn't reject her.
After all, if a group of beautiful, extraordinary won was willing to accept a harem, he wasn't about to disappoint them.
He had his principles—and one of them was keeping them happy.
"Alright, let's go," he said casually.
Miura Yumiko, however, didn't move. She simply stared at him, arms crossed.
"Are you seriously going out like that?"
Ryuu turned toward the full-length mirror, glancing over himself.
He was always conscious of his appearance—a habit born not out of vanity but necessity.
A great man had to exude presence.
First impressions mattered—posture, physique, clothing, aura—all played a role.
And right now, everything seed fine.
"I don't see the problem," he replied.
Yumiko tilted her head, eyes gleaming with sothing mischievous.
"There isn't one," she admitted. "But I bought you sothing better."
She held out a shopping bag.
Ryuu raised an eyebrow but took it, pulling out a T-shirt and a sweatshirt.
It didn't take him long to notice—
"They're matching," he realized.
Yumiko gave a smug nod.
"You should wear it. I already washed them for you."
Ryuu took a deep breath, catching the faint scent of fresh detergent—a detail that made him chuckle.
He had a mild case of OCD—he hated wearing new clothes without washing them first.
Yumiko had rembered.
"Alright, I'll try it on."
He pulled his shirt off right there.
Yumiko's eyes widened.
But she didn't look away.
She just stared.
Most people assud n were visual creatures—but won weren't any different.
And Yumiko… was appreciating the view.
By the ti he had the new clothes on, it was a perfect fit.
"Well?" he asked.
Yumiko, who had been confident monts ago, suddenly looked nervous.
"I-It looks good," she muttered.
Ryuu smirked. "Of course it does. I trust your taste."
Yumiko preened, flipping her golden hair with satisfaction.
"Obviously."
But just as she was about to revel in her victory, sothing caught her attention.
Her eyes locked onto his neck—and narrowed.
She stepped forward, leaning in close.
"Wait… what is this?"
Ryuu stiffened.
Oh.
He had forgotten.
Kasumigaoka Utaha had left a mark.
It wasn't obvious—but Yumiko was too sharp to miss it.
Her fingers brushed over the faint trace of lipstick.
Then, her expression darkened.
"Kasumigaoka," she muttered through gritted teeth.
Ryuu barely opened his mouth before Yumiko sighed.
"Forget it," she said, rolling her eyes. "Let's just go."
She didn't press further—but the dangerous glint in her eyes made one thing very clear.
Utaha was going to pay for this.
---
After changing into the couple's outfit, the two headed out.
Yumiko had already planned their night.
Her first destination? The comrcial district.
Rather than walk, she called for a ride.
In the car, Ryuu couldn't help but compare her to Utaha.
When he was with Utaha, she would sotis play with his hair—or use the ride as an opportunity to whisper sothing dangerous.
Yumiko, though?
She just held his hand.
It was simple. Quiet.
It suited her.
"So different, yet equally entertaining."
Ryuu chuckled to himself.
"What's funny?" Yumiko asked.
"Nothing," he said. "Just thinking about sothing."
She gave him a suspicious glance but let it slide.
By the ti they arrived at the shopping district, the streets were packed with people.
Ryuu sighed. "Did everyone in town decide to co here today?"
Even though it wasn't a holiday, the crowds were insane.
"No wonder Geto chose Christmas Eve for his plan."
If Tokyo was this crowded on a normal weekend, Christmas Eve in Shinjuku was going to be chaos.
---
"Let's go shopping first!" Yumiko announced.
Ryuu had no objections.
Shopping itself wasn't the point—spending ti with her was.
But he quickly learned sothing new about her.
Unlike other girls who browsed, compared, and hesitated—
Yumiko saw sothing she liked?
She bought it instantly.
No second-guessing.
No hesitation.
By the ti an hour passed, Ryuu was holding more bags than he could count.
Yumiko, suddenly self-aware, tilted her head.
"Not the date you were expecting?" she asked.
Ryuu smirked.
"It's fine. You got sothing too, right?"
She brightened. "Of course!"
Then, as if suddenly rembering sothing, she squeezed his hand tighter.
"Next stop—the hotel."
Ryuu blinked.
"...The what?"
He had assud they would catch a movie or grab food.
But sohow—
They had skipped all of that and gone straight to—
"You booked a hotel?" Ryuu asked, dumbfounded.
Yumiko nodded casually, as if she had just suggested getting coffee.
"Shopping is just the warm-up," she said smoothly. "The real event is at the hotel."
She grabbed his wrist and pulled him forward.
"Let's go!"
Ryuu let himself be dragged along, still processing.
But as they approached the entrance, sothing hit him.
He stopped walking.
Yumiko turned to look at him, confused.
"What?"
Ryuu slowly raised a finger, pointing at the hotel sign.
She followed his gaze—
And froze.
The words "Love Hotel" stared back at them boldly.
Yumiko's entire face turned red.
"...Wait."
She pulled out her phone, checking the reservation—
And gasped.
"...I thought this was just a fancy hotel!"
She turned to Ryuu, mortified.
"I DIDN'T AN TO BOOK THAT KIND OF HOTEL!"
Ryuu simply stared at her.
Then—
He grinned.
"So," he said, crossing his arms. "Do we cancel the reservation, or…?"
Yumiko froze up, steam practically rising from her head.
Her mouth opened.
Closed.
Opened again.
Then—
"...Let's at least go inside first."
She grabbed his wrist again and marched forward, avoiding eye contact.
Ryuu laughed.
This night…
Had suddenly gotten very interesting.
