"Boss, is my fried rice ready?"

"Another big bowl of udon!"

"This… this is amazing!"

Inside a bustling restaurant in Tokyo, the air was filled with the sound of satisfied custors praising their als.

Hearing the overwhelmingly positive feedback, Ryuu couldn't help but look forward to his order. But more than that, he was intrigued by the two red-haired chefs behind the counter—a father and son duo who left a deep impression on him.

"What do you want, kid?"

A man with a beard and long, dium-length red hair walked over, his expression carrying a warm confidence.

Ryuu hesitated for a mont, but before he could decide, the man smiled and made a recomndation.

"How about the seafood fried rice? Not to brag, but my boy's Yukihira-style seafood fried rice is even better than mine. It's got the whole neighborhood talking!"

Though he claid not to be boasting, the pride in his voice was undeniable.

"Alright, I'll go with that."

After placing his order, Ryuu sat down, waiting in anticipation.

His gaze landed on the restaurant's young chef—the protagonist of Food Wars, Yukihira Soma.

At this point, Soma hadn't yet enrolled in Totsuki Academy. He was still the rising star of his family restaurant, far from the legendary God Tongue Challenger he would later beco.

In less than ten minutes, a steaming plate of seafood fried rice was placed in front of Ryuu.

The aroma alone was intoxicating. The golden grains of rice glistened under the light, each infused with a rich, umami-packed flavor.

Without hesitation, Ryuu picked up his spoon and took a bite.

The mont the fried rice touched his tongue, an explosion of flavor erupted in his mouth.

He wasn't a food critic, nor did he have Soma's signature Shokugeki-style breakdowns, but only two words lingered in his mind—absolutely delicious.

"As expected of Yukihira Soma. He may not be a culinary genius yet, but this fried rice is already unforgettable…"

After finishing his al, Ryuu paid for his food, exchanged a few words with Soma and his father, and stepped out of the restaurant.

---

The mont he walked into the street, he let out a deep sigh.

Two months…

It had already been two months since he arrived in this world.

Originally, he was just an ordinary college student. One night, after pulling an all-nighter to finish his thesis, he closed his eyes—only to wake up in a completely different life.

Not only was his body several years younger, but he had also gone from a college senior to a first-year high school student in Japan.

His only assets were a small single-family ho and one million yen. Beyond that, he had nothing.

And as he explored this world, he quickly realized sothing was off.

This Tokyo wasn't the one from his past life.

At first, he thought he had simply entered an alternate reality—one where Japan's entertainnt industry was slightly different. He even considered using his knowledge from his past life to create popular works.

But without any talent for drawing or writing, his ambitions were cut short before they could even begin.

Then, one day, he saw sothing strange at school.

Soubu High. Toyosaki Academy. Shuchiin Academy. Totsuki Culinary Academy.

All of these ani-famous schools existed in the sa city.

That was when Ryuu finally understood—he had been transported into an ani world where multiple series were fused together.

For a brief mont, he thought this was the perfect setup for a high school rom-com adventure.

After all, he was surrounded by top-tier ani heroines. He wasn't a monk, so of course, he wouldn't just sit back and ignore such an opportunity.

But…

That naïve dream was shattered within days.

Because in the classroom next door, there was a girl with long black hair nad Miko Yotsuya.

That was the mont he realized… this world wasn't just a slice-of-life ani.

Supernatural entities existed.

Horrors lurked beneath the surface of everyday life.

And the signs had always been there—news reports of gas leaks and explosions, urban legends of missing people, and mysterious deaths.

At first, Ryuu thought he had miraculously survived in this strange world.

But then, he discovered sothing unusual within himself.

A hidden energy flowed through his body.

And within his eyes—a power unlike anything he had ever seen before.

It was then that he realized.

Just like Miko Yotsuya, he could now see things that normal people couldn't.

And at this very mont…

Walking through the now deserted street, Ryuu sensed it.

A sinister presence.

A once-crowded shopping area had suddenly emptied, leaving only him behind.

"...It's ti."

Ryuu stopped in his tracks, closed his eyes, and slowly reopened them.

His once dark pupils were gone—replaced by blood-red eyes with three tomoe spinning around the center.

In an instant, the world changed.

The empty street was no longer empty.

Dark, ominous mist began to gather in the shadows.

And within that mist—twisted, grinning spirits erged.

Grotesque figures. Hollow, soulless eyes. Sharp, jagged mouths stretching across their faces.

They had been watching him all along.

A normal person would be frozen in fear.

Hell, Ryuu was terrified when he first saw them.

But not anymore.

He had learned that these spirits—these cursed beings—were more than just terrifying.

They were fuel.

Every ti he exorcised one, their negative energy flowed into his Sharingan, making his eyes stronger.

And today was no different.

"One, two, three… only five?"

Clicking his tongue, Ryuu gathered energy into his fists.

Then—

—BOOM!

In an instant, he vanished.

Moving faster than the spirits could react, he appeared before the nearest one and slamd his fist forward.

BANG!

A loud, sickening crunch echoed through the air.

The spirit shrieked in agony before bursting apart, its dark essence absorbed into Ryuu's eyes.

The remaining spirits let out distorted cries. Whether it was fear or rage, it didn't matter.

They lunged.

Ryuu's Sharingan spun.

With perfect clarity, he tracked every movent—dodging effortlessly before retaliating with precise, devastating blows.

One by one, the spirits were crushed.

And in less than a minute, the entire group had been eradicated.

The air was thick with residual negative energy, all of which was imdiately absorbed into his eyes.

Feeling the surge of power, Ryuu muttered to himself.

"...Not enough."

He had been gathering cursed energy for months now.

But to reach the next level—to awaken the Mangekyou Sharingan—he needed sothing more.

"The three-tomoe Sharingan is powerful… but a true evolution is still far off."

That was fine.

He had ti.

He wasn't foolish enough to charge headfirst into unknown dangers. Not yet.

But soon…

Soon, he would step into the world of true horror.

And when that ti ca—

He would be ready.
