“…one nad Shang Jin…” the front desk clerk struggled with the pronunciation of the na, “and another…”
“No need to say more.” Zhuang Liu said, “Thank you, I already know who they are.”
After hearing this, the front desk clerk didn’t say any more, muttering under his breath, “Are all foreigners this amazing now? How can every one of them speak our country’s language so fluently?”
After getting the keys from the front desk, Xiao Mo took their luggage upstairs. The goods were still in the car outside, so Zhuang Liu paid double the price to have the driver leave the car here for the day, and the driver happily rented the car to them.
“Master, I’m staying in the next room, you can call if you need anything.” Xiao Mo put the things down and said to Zhuang Liu: “The environnt here is average, but it’s already the best one among the hotels close to the palace.”
Zhuang Liu’s requirents weren’t high. If Tan Rou were here, he would definitely find a better hotel, but since it was just the two of them, the conditions could be a bit worse.

“Hmm. Go ask at the front desk if there’s a flower shop nearby, I want to buy a bouquet for Tan Rou.” Zhuang Liu still understood how to be romantic; it had been so long since they had seen each other, he naturally wanted to give his wife flowers.
Xiao Mo suggested, “Master, maybe you could replace the flowers with cherries, Miss Rou likes cherries more.”
After thinking for a mont, Zhuang Liu said, “Then pack two bouquets, one with the fruits Tan Rou likes, and the other one with fresh flowers.”
Xiao Mo said, “The climate in Country J is quite dry, so it’s not guaranteed to have good fresh flowers. I’ll visit several shops to inquire.”
“Alright.” Zhuang Liu nodded, “You rest for a bit first, and go ask after you’ve rested.”
Xiao Mo wasn’t tired; he had already adjusted to the ti difference on the plane, “No problem, I’m not sleepy. I’ll go ask now. If the stores don’t have ready-made flowers, we can also ask the owner to buy them specially for us.”
“Okay.” Zhuang Liu said: “Once you find the place, co up and tell . These flowers are for Tan Rou, and I want to choose them personally.”
Xiao Mo smiled: “Miss Rou will definitely be very happy after receiving the bouquet.”

Xiao Mo didn’t comnt on this because he shared the sa thought as Zhuang Liu; anything given by his wife, even a durian shell, he would gladly accept.
After placing the belongings properly, Xiao Mo went downstairs to inquire about the flower shop.
“Are you looking to buy flowers?” the front desk clerk was eager to help, “Then you should go to Mr. Kas’s flower shop. He has a lot of flowers, and they are inexpensive and fresh. Our hotel buys flowers from his shop.”
After finishing, he pointed at the flowers to show Xiao Mo, “And he has a unique flower preservation technique. Flowers bought from his shop won’t wilt for a week. The bouquet of roses here at our hotel has been here for a week already.”
Xiao Mo wasn’t the type to easily believe others. Regarding what the front desk had said, he listened, but didn’t fully trust it.
“Alright.” Xiao Mo said, “Are there any other flower shops around here?”
The hotel front desk shook their head, “No, on this street, only his flower shop is available. There used to be other flower shops, but none of their flowers were as good as Mr. Kas’s, so they moved away.”
“Aren’t there any further away?” Xiao Mo asked again.
The hotel front desk shook their head, “I don’t know about that.”
“Alright, then we’ll just have to look for ourselves.” Xiao Mo said.
The hotel front desk was a chatty person, and seeing Xiao Mo coming alone, asked: “You’re from Country C, aren’t you?”
“Yes.” Xiao Mo replied, “Why do you ask?”
The hotel front desk said, “Oh, I thought all people from Country C could speak Country J’s language.”
Xiao Mo was speechless, Country J’s language was so hard to learn, how could he assu that everybody could speak it? He did speak a bit of Country J’s language, but not fluently enough for conversations, so he chose to communicate in the international common language.
Fortunately, this hotel front desk clerk spoke the international common language, or otherwise Zhuang Liu would have had to co down to check in by himself.
Even though the hotel’s front desk said there were no other flower shops around, Xiao Mo still thought it was necessary to look for himself, as they were for Tan Rou, and he wanted to buy the very best.
