Why bother with text when the visuals were much more entertaining? She was nearly out of her mind with laughter from this cody.
Interpreting Tan Rou’s gesture incorrectly, Rake thought she ant there was no need to look any further. So, he put down the docunts and scurried over to join Tan Rou in watching the cody.
Tan Rou said with a laugh to Rake, “People from your country are quite good at cody, their performances are even more exciting than the TV dramas in our country.”
“Heh heh,” Rake gave an embarrassed smile, “Thank you for the complint.” If it were possible, he wished he didn’t have to witness such a ‘cody’.
Seeing the princess erupt, the person in charge nad Basha imdiately stepped forward: “Your Highness, there are simply too many people here; if you fire them all, who will do their work?”
If the situation had been different, Samiyi would have really liked to smack him across the face with her shoe, “Do you have the nerve to ask how their work will be done? Why don’t you ask them if they have been working seriously at all?”
“Every day, they either lounge around in the leisure area drinking coffee, or they think about how to steal from others. Have you really seen them working diligently? Where are the results of their research? If you can find even one decent research result, I will keep them!”
Basha looked around; he knew each one of the nobles’ children there, as he had personally recruited them. He was well aware of their backgrounds and that they had no significant technology.
It was possible for them to research how a coffee machine operated, but expecting them to research how satellites fly into outer space was just too much for them.
“Your Highness, please give them one more chance,” Basha pleaded, “I can guarantee with my own integrity that this will never happen again, and they will surely produce scientific research results!”
“Very well,” Samiyi responded, “Since you’ve asked forgiveness for them, I will save you so face. You can get out with them, and don’t let see you at any event!”
“Okay, okay… Huh?” Basha was stunned, “Your Highness, what did you say?”
“Was I not clear enough?” Samiyi spelled it out word by word, “Get out with them, and let never see you again!”
Basha’s temper flared up as he retorted, “Your Highness, my appointnt was approved by His Majesty the King, so you can’t tell to get out.”
Samiyi replied, “What a coincidence, it was His Majesty the King who sent to deal with this matter.”
