The translator conveyed her words to Shang Jin, and after listening, Shang Jin replied, “I was saying that the palace is really beautiful. It’s a loss that we couldn’t visit it last night.”

“You can’t visit the palace at night,” Princess Samiyi said. “After seven o’clock, all the doors are locked, and only the patrolling guards can move around in the palace.”

“What?” Tan Rou thought she had misheard. “You want to leave J Country? Why?”
Princess Samiyi answered, “The palace is like a huge cage, and I’ve lived inside it for 32 years, but now I no longer want to stay. Hearing you talk about high-speed trains and airplanes, I realized how wonderful the outside world is! So I want to go out and explore it.”
