The Chu Family was an official family in the capital, which had rules. Everyone should follow the rules.
The reason why there was a wife was because the wife was normally in charge of family business in the mansion. That was sothing Chu Tian left his wife to do with full trust.
He had never allowed anyone to leap over the boundary.
He believed that his wife should teach the Second Concubine a lesson and give her a punishnt, so that she could keep what she had done wrong in mind.
He said to the pageboy next to him. “Get Mrs. Chu here.”
Hearing that Mrs. Chu was asked for, the Second Concubine said with a sad face. “Old Master, Mrs. Chu already rejected my proposal.”
“Yerong is a concubine’s daughter, but she has already found such a great suitor, so I hope that Yerong is able to marry that family.
