She covered her chest and pushed away the King’s hands.
She should have been famished at this mont, and Aunt Nan would have fed her so of the dical al, making her feel slightly more comfortable, but she just could not take in any more food, seeing that it was the King who was feeding her. She was a very straightforward person. When she was in love with soone, she would be fully devoted, but the man she loved was making use of her love, so she totally lost her feelings towards him, and decided to not see him any more. That was why she was very willing to move to the town. She would rather stay out of his sight than stay in the court, being forced to et him every now and then. However, she had not expected that he would co all the way to the town and express his concern.
Jiang Shuang felt really uncomfortable about this, but she was still the Queen, and Zhou Sheng was still the King, so she could not make him not do sothing. He could choose to either stay in the town or leave. He could do whatever he wanted to do, but Jiang Shuang could turn him down, if she wanted to.
Seeing that she refused to eat any more food the King frowned. “What happened? Why don’t you eat so more food? I was here before you woke up, and you should not be starved for too long. Eat so, it is good for your health.”
The King did not care about her rejection. He kept forcing her to eat so more.
The Queen frowned and refused to open her mouth, so the King said seriously, “Eat so more!”
He put the spoon to the Queen’s lips.
The Queen opened her mouth unwillingly and turned around after she took in the mouthful.
Seeing that she was still in the mood to eat so more, the King continued to feed her. “One more.”
The Queen was wearing a terrible look on her face. She refused to turn around and frowned deeply.
Zhao Yiqiu walked in and saw the terrible look on the Queen’s face. She was not happy about what she was asked to do.
No wonder Aunt Nan ca to fetch him. It wasn’t a nice scene.
“If she doesn’t want to eat anything more, just leave it.” Zhao Yiqiu said, “Patients tend to have a smaller appetite for food than healthy people. She has been coughing blood for the past few days, so eating is a very painful process for her.”
The King held the bowl in his hands.
Zhao Yiqiu was a doctor, and what he had said made sense, but he felt really uncomfortable about him being around.
Really uncomfortable.
He, as the King, had been in charge of everything, big or small in the court, and he had developed the habit of making decisions, but he had to obey Zhao Yiqiu’s words when it ca to Jiang Shuang. That made him truly uncomfortable.
He did all of this for Jiang Shuang’s sake!
Nevertheless, Zhao Yiqiu did not care how uncomfortable he felt. He said to Aunt Nan. “Aunt Nan, just feed the Queen so dicine. She should take so rest after the dicine. If the day gets better tomorrow, you can take the Queen to the yard for so sunbathing. The air indoors is terrible, full of dical scent. She will not be comfortable being inside all the ti.”
Aunt Nan responded and went to feed the Queen the dicine.
The King had to drop his intention of feeding her personally, seeing that Aunt Nan already started to feed the Queen.
After she drank the dicine, the Queen looked slightly better.
Zhao Yiqiu thought for a while and decided to check out how she was doing
The King had not been feeling comfortable and kept his eyes on Zhao Yiqiu. Especially when he saw that Zhao Yiqiu was about to place his hands on the Queen’s wrist.
