Chaoyan laughed brightly.

She pinched Qing’s face. “Don’t worry, no one will co to us, and no one dares either. They don’t want to be beaten to death.”

Soon she fell asleep without thinking about anything else.

So she took another bath.

One maid from Pear Yard was here. Now it was Cai Ming, also one of the major maids from Pear Yard. She was slightly older than Cai Zhu, obviously more mature. She showed full courtesy at the sight of Gu Chaoyan. “Miss, Mada Gu is asking to pick you up for breakfast in the front yard.”

So this ti, this maid was behaving properly.

Since Cai Ming was paying her respect, she would too.

As they were leaving, she did not have Qing with her, because the maid was out in the kitchen for breakfast alone. Gu Chaoyan nodded and started to drink the tea alone.

The tea offered at the front yard was indeed tasty, and the scent was quite strong too.

It must be more than breakfast for her. This was the third day after the treatnt for Gu Ruxue was started. If her face did not have any change, she was here to take revenge. If her face did change sohow, she was still here carrying out the deal they had made before.
