Gu Chaoyan was making the dicine in the small room.
It was a very quiet place, but everything needed was available.
Due to what had happened, Gu Chaoyan did not allow anyone to interfere with her treatnt of the patient. So she did everything herself.
When Zhou Huaijin walked in, he saw her back.
He stepped forward, took hold of her and placed his face against her hair.
Gu Chaoyan sensed the familiar scent. Instead of moving, she stayed in his arms. “What is it?”
“Thank you, Chaoyan.” Zhou Huaijin sounded a bit feeable. That was a tone he never showed to anyone else. “If not for you, Mother would not have noticed anything, and it would have been too late when we knew about it.”
Gu Chaoyan placed the lid upon the jar.
She turned around and looked at Zhou Huaijin – The Queen was his mother, soone very important to him. That was why he was in such a mood.
“Why are we saying thank-you between us?” Gu Chaoyan looked determined. “That’s what I should do.”
Then she took out a dical bottle from her arms.
