Qiong Pavilion was a shabby place and she had no attachnt to it. But she enjoyed living there. Isolated from the rest of the family, no one from Gu Mansion would ever think about visiting that place. So, Qiong Pavilion was basically left alone in peace most of the ti.

She planned to start losing weight these days, and Qiong Pavilion suited her needs.

As she thought about this, Chaoyan shook her head. “Thank you for your kindness, Grandma, but I have been used to living in my yard all these years.”

Seeing Gu Chaoyan turning her offer down, Mada Gu did not insist on it again.

Anyways, Mada Gu had wished secretly that she would turn down her offer of a new yard.

The Wang Family might be thankful to the Gu Family at the mont, yet gratitude did not last forever, especially from a family like the Wangs. Everyone tended to forget about the favor after so ti. At that point, this ugly girl would be useless to the Gu Family. She did not want to see this girl showing up in front of her when that beca true.

It would not be pleasing to the eye.

For a girl, her appearance was the most important thing of all. But this girl had nothing. Even if she had been pretty, since the Wang Family’s gratitude would not last forever, Mada Gu did not want to spend too much ti and energy upon her.

Seeing Gu Chaoyan’s ugly face and chubby body, Mada Gu said a bit coldly, “Go back to your pavilion and take a rest. Co to the front yard for dinner.”

Chaoyan bowed slightly and left from there. She could see the changes on Mada Gu’s face.

Was she that unpopular in the Gu Family?

Gu Chaoyan left in large steps, feeling no willingness to linger on.

She had just gone out of the hall when Gu Zhenkang caught up with her.

Gu Zhenkang looked serious and said to Gu Chaoyan in a displeased manner, “It was your luck that you managed to cure the little boy, just luck! Don’t ever think that you would be able to achieve sothing big out of it.”

In his eyes, he did think that the Wang Family’s gratitude was of great importance. But a useless girl like Gu Chaoyan would not be able to extract any benefits from it. To begin with, that face was disgusting and because of that, she won’t be able to marry in any good family. Moreover, her mother had belonged to a rchant family, which made the situation worse. Finally, he reached the main point of this conversation. In a stiff and stern voice, he said, “Go and cure Ruxue’s face. She has got rashes. ”

Haha.

Chaoyan laughed brightly. “? Cure Ruxue’s face?”

“...”

“You just said that I had only been lucky to know so dicinal knowledge. So, now you are asking to try my luck on her?”

Having said the words, Gu Chaoyan continued to laugh indifferently.

She had never t anyone more ridiculous than Gu Zhenkang. If he had been a tough man, she could have taught him in a different way. But after showing strictness, he was still turning to her for help. What thick cheeks he had!

“What are you talking about?!”

Seeing Gu Chaoyan’s behavior, Gu Zhenkang bellowed in disgust. He pointed at Gu Chaoyan’s face and said, “She is your sister. Cure her if you know how to. Are you hoping that her face becos as ugly as yours?!”

Gu Chaoyan looked calm and replied coldly. “To answer your question, I would be lying if I said no. As for your ‘request’, I know how to cure her, but I refuse.”

With chin raised, she looked at Gu Zhenkang in a dominant manner, making him dizzy for a mont. At that mont, he believed that it was not his daughter standing in front of him, until Gu Chaoyan’s ugly face brought him back to reality.

“How dare you!!” Gu Zhenkang was furious. “I am going to punish you according to the family law!”
