Gu Chaoyan started to walk towards her room and as she was about to step inside when Sword One rushed back, looking gloomy.
Gu Chaoyan suspected that sothing must have gone wrong. Instead of saying anything more, she opened the door, let Sword One in and then asked. “What is it? Where have you been?”
She had been a bit confused by what happened just now. So she had not noticed that Sword One had been missing all this while.
After spending so much ti with Gu Chaoyan, Sword One understood what she was like. She was an easy-going lady who did not pay much attention to the class difference. So Sword One poured herself a cup of tea first before getting Gu Chaoyan one too. She finished the tea and then narrated slowly, “You were gone for a long while, so I decided to check out what happened. However, the mont I opened the door, I saw a creepy figure sneaking around not far from here. I started to run after that figure, but he was too fast and skilled for to catch up. That was why I returned to the room instead.”
Sword One was still panting. She was truly exhausted. She might not be the most skilled person in martial arts in Shadow Door, and she had not beaten soone for a long while. However, she had not expected that she would have run into soone who was so much better than she was here at Saint College.

Sword One had not thought through the whole experience when Gu Chaoyan continued. “Liu Hanxiang’s roommate was drugged, seriously drugged. If not for my pills, she would have dropped dead. Could your experience and this incident have been related sohow?”
What?! Sword One looked totally surprised, then seriousness dominated her face. If the conjecture had been true, what was the cause?
Who did this and for what purpose, honestly?
The two of them were both shocked. Suddenly, the sound of knocking arose, ripping into the quiet room. Even Gu Chaoyan got startled. She exchanged a quick look with Sword One who asked cautiously, “Who is it?”
“It is .” That was the teacher from the dical Departnt.
Gu Chaoyan recognized the voice, so she got up and was about to open the door, when Sword One stopped her. Too many strange things had happened for Sword One to drop her caution. She had to do anything to keep her miss from being hurt.
She cautiously opened the door.
It was the teacher who was standing at the doorstep with a smile. “Lady Chaoyan, could I bother you with so questions?”
“About Liu Hanxiang or the drugged girl?” Gu Chaoyan asked calmly.
