Gu Chaoyan suddenly thought of sothing. She put the purse into her own space before the girl noticed anything, then helped her to dust off.
Even if she was bumped, the girl did not mind it at all. She smiled. “It is fine, let’s go.”
Gu Chaoyan nodded.
They were just about to leave when a sharp voice arose. “It is her! Li Yuanxiang! She stole my purse!”
The girl next to Gu Chaoyan shivered.
Then several more people ca surrounding them.
Two girls dressed in luxurious clothes, followed by two maids, suddenly surrounded Gu Chaoyan and Li Yuanxiang.
Gu Chaoyan was not totally sure what happened – these people knew the girl next to her, and they were trying to set her up. Luckily, she had hidden the purse, otherwise the whole thing would get very complicated. Who on earth were these two people that tried to set up Li Yuanxiang who was from a poor family. She frowned and looked very displeased.
Liu Hanxiang and Cheng Xinrong had a look at the girl next to Li Yuanxiang. Judging from her plain clothes and the lack of maids next to her, they were more certain that this person was in the sa group as Li Yuanxiang who had no social status.
Since she did not have any social status, they would not take another look at her.
She asked her maids to tug at Li Yuanxiang. “Did you steal my money?!”
“It is not !” Li Yuanxiang shouted, looking very resolute. She might be poor, but she never stole.
“I just lost my money and you are the only ones around. Who else could it be?” Liu Hanxiang interrogated with a look of fierceness. “Let’s do a search!” She exchanged a look with the maid next to her and asked her to do the searching.
Soon many people were gathering around.
There were nurous people at Saint College, and Liu Hanxiang and Cheng Xinrong were talking so loudly that many people were present.
Liu Hanxiang and Cheng Xinrong exchanged a satisfied look after seeing the crowd. They had to spread the news about Li Yuanxiang’s stealing. They needed witnesses, because they were trying to find out whether Saint College would still accept this girl – how much further could Li Yuanxiang go when such a thing happened?
“Soone, co and search her now!” Liu Hanxiang spoke so loudly, showing a seemingly justiced expression on her face.
Her maids were just about to do sothing when Gu Chaoyan stopped them.
She was not a nosy person, but she liked Li Yuanxiang a great deal. Also, these two people were so an because they tried to sche against the girl, so she had to step forward.
“Searching her?! What rights do you have to search her? You think this place is the backyard of your hotown so you can do whatever you want?” Gu Chaoyan asked as she stared at Liu Hanxiang.
Liu Hanxiang was displeased and glared back at Gu Chaoyan.
Li Yuanxiang looked so stupid, and so was her friend! Did they know that they could just do whatever they wanted to deal with Li Yuanxiang. What was this friend doing trying to help this stupid girl? She should have tried to get rid of her as soon as possible.
What Gu Chaoyan said caused nurous discussions.
Liu Hanxiang was bullying soone at the mont. So she might have done the sa to her younger sister at ho too.
“You...” Liu Hanxiang pointed at Gu Chaoyan. “I am searching her because she stole my money! How is this related to my backyard?”
“You claid that she stole the money, but did she? What if it turns out that she did not steal anything after you search her?”
