She had first encountered this servant when she arrived at the yard half a month ago. Back then, he appeared immaculate, maintaining a neat and gentle deanor while dutifully carrying out her instructions. With his polite manners, it was evident that he was a well-mannered individual. Now, as she saw him for the second ti, she couldn’t help but notice the nurous wounds marring his otherwise clean and innocent face.

Gu Chaoyan was not one to easily tolerate disturbances, yet she couldn’t simply disregard the welfare of the servants responsible for her well-being. Thus, she felt compelled to understand the reason behind the injuries he bore.

Approaching him, Gu Chaoyan requested his presence. The servant, however, tried to conceal his face, hesitating to approach her. As she caught sight of the wounds on his face, she sensed his reluctance. It wasn’t due to guilt but rather a reluctance to burden her with his troubles.

When Gu Chaoyan was not leaving, he had no choice but co to the door.

“Miss Chaoyan.”

The sect was different from the outside world.

Even if they had servants serving them, they would not be addressed as Young

Master and Lady.

They would just be calling the visitor either Lady and Young Master.

That was the modesty of the sect.

“Where did the wound co from?” Gu Chaoyan asked.

“It is fine, just an accident.” The servant lowered his head and said bashfully.

“You got injured by accident? Soone must have hit you. Did you cause the trouble, or soone else did?” Gu Chaoyan sounded cold and interrogative.

Hearing that, the servant got very anxious.

He was not the cause of the wound on his face. If the girl misunderstood and dropped him, he would be dood.

He did not want the girl to worry about him, but he did not want her to misunderstand him.

She explained. “I didn’t cause you any trouble.”

“Lady, I am a servant, and I won’t cause you any trouble. I just ran into so trouble, and maybe so disciples from other sects misunderstood . That is why I am like this. It is not a big deal, don’t worry, you just need to cultivate well.” The servant explained nervously.

From the mont the girl walked into the yard, she was told not to be disturbed.

The servant was really worried that the girl would be disturbed.

“Misunderstanding?” Gu Chaoyan frowned.

“A few disciples of the dicine Faction were outside the yard a couple of days ago, and I just ca ho. I didn’t touch them, but they said that I touched them and dirtied their clothes, so I taught them a lesson. Nothing else. Maybe I was careless, and I will stay away from them in the future.” The attendant said.

Gu Chaoyan frowned even deeper.

The servant was young, and he did not seem to be lying.

If that was the case, then the disciples of the dicine Faction must have co to cause trouble!

Gu Chaoyan did not care if they were causing trouble elsewhere, but when they were here, she was going to reason with them.

“Who is it? I am not accusing you, but even if I am not accusing you, you should not have hit my man like this. Take there; I am going to ask what is going on,” Gu Chaoyan said protectively.

Seeing that Gu Chaoyan was about to offer the help…

Startled, he pulled her back. “Girl, no need.”

“He is just a little injured, that is all.”

“I can take care of him, I am not going to disturb your cultivation,” the servant said worriedly.

Gu Chaoyan was about to say sothing..
