Seeing that they were only blocked by the other sects, Gu Chaoyan felt slightly assured.

Once she was done dealing with the Moon Sect, she could finally complete her mission and return ho to focus on cultivation.

While contemplating this, Gu Chaoyan descended as well.

Upon witnessing the arrival of helpers from the Supre Sect, the mbers of the Moon Sect remained arrogant and displayed no signs of fear. Instead, they chose to confront the representatives from the Supre Sect.

“So what if your Senior Brother is here? You hurt our disciples first, so you have to answer to us!” The disciple leading the Moon Sect confidently proclaid to the mbers of the Supre Sect.

The people from the Moon Sect accused the Supre Sect of being the first to hurt others.

Di Hongyun remained composed and refrained from acting impulsively. “What happened?” Lv Zhengyang directed a stern gaze at the disciples, demanding an explanation.

It was puzzling why such an incident occurred without any apparent reason.

As it turned out, the disciples of the Supre Sect were responsible for initiating the conflict by harming the others first.

The Supre Sect had a strict rule against causing trouble while outside, especially injuring others. If this accusation was true, the Supre Sect would have no valid reason for such behavior.

In such situations, an apology from the offending party was expected.

Observing Lv Zhengyang scolding the mbers of the Supre Sect, the people from the Moon Sect wore smug smiles and glanced disdainfully at their counterparts. “Your Senior Brother has reprimanded you, so apologize now!”

“It was your people from the Supre Sect who made the first move. I did not wrong you!” The leader of Moon Sect said.

Seeing the unwavering confidence in Lv Zhengyang’s expression, he was almost certain that they were not lying.

“Did you instigate the conflict?” Lv Zhengyang inquired sharply.

The disciples of the Supre Sect exchanged uncertain glances, unsure of how to respond.

“We did start it, but…” Before the leader of the Supre Sect’s team could finish his sentence, Lv Zhengyang interrupted him. “You started it, so apologize to them. What did our sect’s teachings tell you? We should never harm anyone when we are outside.”

“Did you hear that? Apologize, kneel down and apologize!” The people from the Moon Sect stated with pride.

The disciples of the Supre Sect felt unjustly accused.

They did initiate the incident, but they believed they were not entirely in the wrong.

“Kneel down?” Lv Zhengyang sensed that sothing was amiss. “We are all disciples of the sect; isn’t it a bit excessive to ask for kneeling?”

Lv Zhengyang furrowed his brow, expressing his displeasure with the demand for kneeling.

“Hmph, your Supre Sect started the trouble first, and you think a simple apology is enough? You must kneel down to receive our forgiveness, or we will report this to the sect.” The people from the Moon Sect arrogantly declared.

Gu Chaoyan initially hesitated about getting involved further, but ultimately decided to step forward.

“Since it was the Supre Sect who initiated the confrontation, there must have been so disagreent or argunt between the two sides. They wouldn’t just act without reason, right? Why did you hurt them?” Gu Chaoyan questioned the disciples.

The inner sect disciples were all dressed in the distinctive attire of the inner sect, while Gu Chaoyan wore the outer sect disciples’ clothing.

Even when approached by an outer sect disciple from the Supre Sect, the disciples nodded and responded, “They provoked Yi Qing first. Yi Qing is a female disciple of the Supre Sect, and we felt the need to defend her, so we engaged in the altercation.”

“I see.” Gu Chaoyan turned her gaze towards the people from the Moon Sect..
