As he was thinking what Madam Gu was saying, Chen Fu hurried to Begonia Yard.

Then she showed an even brighter smile as she saw the expensive gifts. It seed that Lord Ling was indeed in a high position. Even the Jiang Mansion was trying to flatter her. Mada Gu waved at Gu Ruxue with a smile and said, “Ruxue, co, this is the housekeeper of the Jiang Mansion.”
Gu Ruxue smiled brightly. With her eyes upon the housekeeper, she said politely, “You are just way too friendly. A visit here will do, those gifts are not necessary.”
“These are selected personally by our mada, just a heartfelt thankfulness from us.” The housekeeper of the Jiang Mansion said courteously and asked the staff to open the boxes.
