When he said that, it beca very noisy in the palace. Apparently, none of the ministers and officers had expected those people to co. They were here for no reason which made them feel very unprepared. They started to panic and whisper among themselves.
The King felt annoyed. He gave a displeased cough, quieting down everyone in the hall. They all looked among themselves, fearing that they would irritate soone.
Gu Chaoyan sighed.
The court had changed. It did not look like what a court should.
The officers and ministers were confused, but they did not dare to utter a sound.
If Pri Minister Chu and General Liu were both here, things would not have turned out like this.

The ministers and officers started to talk among themselves.
They knew pretty well about the monsters. Their guards and families were all asked to stay indoors, in case they got hurt by the monsters. They were worried that the King ignored them, but in fact, the King had a different plan.
They all got to where they were, either through imperial examination or family inheritance, through difficulties, and none of them had the intention of changing it.
The King must have made a thorough plan since he asked them about this.
So they had nothing to object to.
