1632 Truth

The maid’s blood sprayed on Gu Chaoyan’s white dress. She closed her eyes slightly and moved away from the maid. She never liked the sll of blood. She did not frown, because the maid should die, but not in this horrible way.

What she had told her fit her guesses.

The maid did drug Lingyun, but she was just an accomplice. The person who ordered her to drug Lingyun was the man nad Wuxing.

She was dead, and her sin was paid, but her death did not cheer up Lingyun. Instead, she looked really distressed.

Gu Chaoyan stood next to Lingyun, waiting quietly.

At this ti, she needed soone to stand by her side.

When she heard the truth from the maid, Lingyun almost got choked by it. She felt her heart ache, as she tried to think about what the maid said.

If what the maid said was real… then Wuxing was the most disgusting person she had ever known. And he was the murderer.

If that was true, Wuxing not only lied to her, but also tried to kill her.

She had been used by him to do so many things, but she did not think that she was drugged because of him. He must have considered her a burden even at that ti, but he could not think of a way to deal with her, thus using this thod.

With a few words… he made her live miserably for years.

Lingyun sneered.

She sneered at what happened in the past and at Wuxing.

At this mont…

She started to recall a few details that erged in her mind when they were together

When she first started to refine drugs, Wuxing asked her to taste her own drug to see if it worked. She thought that he was joking, so she did not take it to heart. She only told him that her drugs would not have any problems, and that he could use the drugs whenever he wanted.

She forgot all about these details because she did not put many thoughts into it.

However, when she thought about this, she thought of how Wuxing kept asking her if there are solutions to the drugs.

She started to get very muddle headed.

She panicked more upon hearing what the maid said about what happened to her in the past.

The maid was right. She was telling the truth.

A maid would not do anything like that to her unless she was ordered to.

Lingyun stood up and stared at Gu Chaoyan. Her eyes were almost out of focus. “Phoenix Girl, I am going to take revenge on Wuxing for everything he did to before.” Having said this, she looked at the dead maid. “And he is not going to die so easily. I am going to give back all the suffering he once gave . And he will know that he has given pain and misery.”

Gu Chaoyan nodded. “You are working for now. I will definitely help you as long as I can.”

That was the second ti Gu Chaoyan made the offer.

Lingyun nodded.

She was a very nice woman. She had given her life.

“When I am done with the revenge, I will work for you and serve you with all my life until the end of my days.”
