1627 Lingyun’s Reaction 1
Sword One’s voice arose.
The coachman said with a worried tone, “Miss. Sword One, there are too many civilians on the street. They won’t make space for our wagon. We will need ti to get in.”
Hearing that, Gu Chaoyan lifted the curtain and looked out. There were many people heading towards one direction on the street.
Their wagon could not ask people to open the road just like those noble people’s. The civilians would not make space for them.
She thought for a while, then Gu Chaoyan said, “Let’s get off the wagon and walk, otherwise we will never make it through.”
They all beca even more excited upon hearing that they were going off the wagon.
They all headed towards the crowded street.
She had arranged Sword Two to keep them company, otherwise she would be quite distracted about the girls’ safety.
Lingyun and Sword One kept her company, whilst the others would go out and play, under the protection of Sword Two.
“It is just ahead of us,” Sword One said as she pointed in one direction. “Whenever the variety show class are here, people would crowd up to watch them.”

“But we have booked an elegant room in a high spot at Linjiang Restaurant, so we can watch the show freely!” Sword One said.
Gu Chaoyan threw her a look.
It was a very last minute decision for them to co and watch the show, yet they could even get an elegant room here among the crowd.
Sword One smiled and said with a smile, “Lord Huai did it.”
Gu Chaoyan withrew her look.
Yeah, if he did it, then that was very normal.
They passed through the crowd and went to Linjiang Restaurant.
Those girls already had many things in their hands. They passed by the stands and bought all of the interesting and novel things.
They had two elegant rooms.
It offered the best view. They could clearly see the variety show when they looked down.
Qing was exceptionally excited. She said, “It is starting soon. I heard from Auntie Liu from the kitchen that those actors are very skillful. There are animals we have never seen that are smarter than mankind. They can do anything!”
Qing spoke as she looked down with sparkling eyes.
Gu Chaoyan found that sothing was wrong, after hearing what Qing said.
Animals they had never seen? What could they be?
No wonder Qing would want to co and see the show.
She did not think that things were so easy, but for so reason, she beca quite interested in what was coming towards them. She wanted to see it clearly.
Soon the sound of drums and gongs arose.
The show was about to start.
The actors had drums and gongs in their hands, and collected a lot of money from the civilians. They did not start until the drums and gongs were all filled up.
Now the show started.
The actors led out sothing with a rope.
Gu Chaoyan narrowed her eyes and found that sothing was wrong.
Lingyun burst out loudly, “That is from the monster race!”
Gu Chaoyan’s guess was confird by Lingyun’s exclaim. Sothing wasn’t right.
“Lingyun, what is it?” Gu Chaoyan asked.
