Lu Jingyan looked at his retreating figure and slowly clicked his tongue.
She had never t anyone so difficult to flirt with.
Always with a poker face, cold as ice as if soone had fed him a Ruthless Pill.
Lu Jingyan called out Sheng Xian’s na and, seeing that he had no intention of stopping, lifted her foot and followed him while asking, “Brother, are you walking so fast because you’re shy?”
Sheng Xian didn’t pay her any attention and kept walking straight ahead.
Lu Jingyan leisurely followed behind him, “Or is it that, Brother, you’re afraid I’ll really touch you?”
The neighborhood was quiet at night, and although there was so distance between them, her voice was not low.
Just then, two old ladies walking towards them heard her and slowed down, turning their heads to look at them repeatedly.
Sheng Xian’s headache grew worse. He pressed his pounding temples, fearing her next words might scare the old ladies into high blood pressure and a trip to the hospital. He turned around, went back to Lu Jingyan, grabbed her arm, and pulled her quickly away.
Lu Jingyan, leaning back slightly, stared straight at Sheng Xian as he dragged her forward.
Any normal man would have at least so desire, but she had never seen any in Sheng Xian.
She suddenly beca quite curious. Could Sheng Xian really be so pure and detached from desire?
When they reached a secluded spot, Sheng Xian let go of Lu Jingyan’s arm.
Lu Jingyan blinked her eyes, looked at the spot where he had held her for a couple of seconds, then raised her head, “Brother, have you ever ‘done it’ yourself?”
Sheng Xian didn’t imdiately catch on, so he looked down at her, “Hmm?”
Lu Jingyan downed a large bag of beer, her eyes still clear. She looked up at him for a mont, confird he didn’t understand her aning, and then spoke slowly, “You know, like last night, you told
you’d only ‘do it’ with the one woman you like. Well, apart from won, what about yourself?”
“…”
Finally grasping her aning, Sheng Xian inwardly cursed.
Three seconds later, he ground his teeth and again considered leaving the rebellious and difficult “schoolgirl” behind and walking away.
He should have gone ho right after he pulled her hand out of his pocket.
No, he shouldn’t have co downstairs to look for her in the first place.
He couldn’t even count how many tis he had regretted making decisions because of her.
He found that this girl really knew how to push her luck.
Every ti he showed her just a little bit of tenderness, she always managed to say sothing in the next second that got on his nerves.
And then he discovered that he wasn’t very good at learning from his mistakes.
Despite telling himself there would be no next ti, every ti he couldn’t help himself.
Sheng Xian closed his eyes and sighed deeply within his heart, opened his lids, and asked her, “Have you had dinner yet?”
Based on Lu Jingyan’s understanding of Sheng Xian, after she threw out those words, Sheng Xian would either hail a taxi for her to send her ho or stuff her into her car, call her a designated driver, and then turn around and head ho himself.
Lu Jingyan looked at Sheng Xian for a while and shook her head.
She actually wasn’t hungry.
The beer had already filled her up.
The reason she had been so unserious just now was partly because she really enjoyed teasing him and partly because she had been a bit flustered and at a loss when he wrapped the scarf around her, subconsciously wanting to do sothing to cover up her chaotic feelings at the ti.
The sowhat unconfident Lu Jingyan also held the idea of ssing around with him for a while before leaving.
But she never expected that after being annoyed by her, he would actually ask “Have you had dinner yet?”
“Then let’s go,” Sheng Xian suggested, taking the lead out of the community gate.
Lu Jingyan didn’t speak, followed behind him, appearing quiet and sowhat obedient.
She wasn’t sure if she was being overly self-absorbed, but she felt like Sheng Xian might have noticed she had sothing on her mind.
And perhaps… he was giving her a chance, waiting for her to open up first.
Sheng Xian didn’t go far and soon picked a barbecue place nearby.
The restaurant was still bustling despite it being nearly ten o’clock at night.
Sheng Xian glanced through the glass at the crowded interior, raised his hand to push the door but paused, “Little Fish.”
His tone was light, but Lu Jingyan perceived a trace of indulgence. She looked up after a mont’s delay, “Huh?”
Sheng Xian said, “Can we make a deal?”
Lu Jingyan blinked her eyes, “What deal?”
Sheng Xian looked down at her, “During dinner, can we please talk about things a girl should talk about?”
Lu Jingyan, “…”
