Chapter 251: Chapter 250 Don’t Compare Downhill

The next day.
Chi Gui got up early.
When she was at her grandmother’s house, she would wake up an hour earlier than usual, besides going for a morning run, she also looked after the crops not far away.
Then she went ho to make breakfast.
By the ti breakfast was ready, her grandmother had just gotten up.
Now, even though her grandmother was no longer there, Chi Gui still kept this habit.
She picked so fresh vegetables from the ground, made a simple porridge at ho, and stir-fried the picked greens and potatoes into two small dishes.
Just as the dishes were ready, Fu Si arrived as if on cue.
He still wore that thin gray trench coat, his bangs slightly covering the cold sharpness in his phoenix eyes, making him look both exquisite and youthful. He just stood lazily outside the door, like a young master from a painting coming out of a “family”.
Seeing Chi Gui, he smiled and waved his hand, “Good morning, Professor Chi~”
Chi Gui was already used to Fu Si’s sudden visits, “Good morning.”
She turned and went into the kitchen.
Fu Si followed her in, smiling.
Chi Gui’s grandmother’s house had a simple wooden fence as a wall, and the door was also made of wood, very rudintary. Inside, there were two rooms, one serving as a living room and a resting area, and the other as a kitchen.
The yard had a few wooden stools and tables, not finely crafted but with a unique style and a strange beauty.
The entire house, although seemingly simple, was very appropriately decorated, making anyone who entered feel comfortable.
Even though Fu Si had never t Chi Gui’s grandmother, he could imagine that the old lady was a person of taste.
No wonder she was able to raise soone as talented as Chi Gui.
Fu Si thought about this as he saw Chi Gui bring out a bowl of millet porridge and two dishes, placing them on the wooden table in the yard.
Completely ignoring him.
Fu Si coughed, “Professor Chi~ I haven’t had breakfast either~”
Chi Gui did not even look up, “The food is in the pot. If you want to eat, help yourself.”
Fu Si obediently went into the kitchen, and soon he also ca out with a bowl of rice.
The two ate in silence and then headed to the mountain road they had visited the day before.
The “World” racing team had already arrived.
However, they were not doing anything but standing there, and the faces of Lu You and the manager were not looking very good.
Seeing Chi Gui approaching, one of the racers stepped forward and said, “We forgot to ntion yesterday, you should race us first, how about it?”
This was clearly a challenge.
“Hey…” Lu You frowned, trying to stop it.
They had just been discussing this matter.
Lu You and Kyle naturally disagreed, but the other racers seed to have agreed, all supporting the racer’s suggestion.
As they were at an impasse, Chi Gui arrived.
The racer simply addressed Chi Gui directly.
“Lu, you brought her here, and we don’t know anything about her,” the racer looked at Lu You and cocked his chin, “If you want us to willingly listen, you’d better let us see convincing strength first, right?”
“Stop talking…” Kyle also ca over, trying to intervene.
Chi Gui raised her hand, stopping Kyle from continuing.
She looked at the racer with calm almond-shaped eyes, “You’re right. What kind of race do you want?”
Seeing that Chi Gui had agreed, the racer smiled, pointed to the mountain road behind him, “I don’t want to be harsh with a woman. Let’s race downhill. As long as you can pass , you win.”
“Don’t race downhill…” Lu You still tried to stop her, “Gustav, you should race her uphill instead…”
Seeing how anxious Lu You was, the racer beca even more certain of his suspicion, he said with a smile, “What? Lu, so the coach you brought actually can’t race downhill? If that’s the case, she doesn’t qualify to teach us. We might as well go back to the club, and you and Manager Kael should publicly apologize for wasting our ti!”
