Chapter 2097: Chapter 2097: Sending a War Letter_1 Chapter 2097: Chapter 2097: Sending a War Letter_1 Ethan Smith’s aura began to surge within his body, ready at any mont to make a move.
anwhile, Corbin Green’s aura remained calm, showing no intention of attacking.
“Corbin, you’re not planning to back out of the fight, are you? What’s the matter? Are we ssing up your performance?” Saint Harris said with a cheeky grin.
Corbin Green ignored Saint Harris and instead looked coldly at Ethan Smith, saying, “You and I will surely exchange blows, but not now, not at this mont.”
Ethan Smith raised an eyebrow and said, “Choosing a place for your tomb, are you?”
Corbin Green shouted, “Three days from now, at Mount Phoenix, I will wait for you! Make sure you show up on ti!”
After throwing out these words, Corbin Green turned and left.
“Hey, don’t leave, you’re just walking away now? That’s it? How boring is that? We have to wait three whole days?” Saint Harris said impatiently from the side.
However, Corbin Green paid him no mind, turning away and leaving the area.
After he left, Saint Harris stepped forward with a grin and said, “Ethan, need to give you a hand?”
Ethan Smith glanced at Saint Harris and replied, “That little Corbin Green? He’s hardly worth my attention.”
“Oh?” Saint Harris raised his eyebrows and then grinned, saying, “What about ?”
“Sa goes for you,” Ethan Smith spread his hands indifferently.
“Tsk, you’re getting a little cocky here. When I get the chance, I’ll definitely teach you a lesson or two.” Saint Harris scoffed.
Ethan Smith smiled without responding, but deep down, he was sowhat looking forward to it.
*This would be his first duel since entering the Semi-Saint Realm, and his opponent was a formidable one. How could his heart not hold so anticipation?*
“Ethan, be careful—Corbin Green is no simple character. Don’t underestimate him,” Williams Saintess warned.
Ethan Smith nodded slightly and said, “Thank you for your concern, Williams Saintess, but no need to worry. I do not fear him.”
Saint Harris waved his hand and said, “Forget all that. We’re just killing ti anyway. Why not spend the next three days at my estate?”
Ethan Smith considered for a mont; with only three days until the duel, returning to Thunder Courtyard seed unnecessary, so he agreed.
Then, Ethan Smith and Williams Saintess followed Saint Harris as he headed toward his mansion.
Saint Harris’s mansion was located atop a mountain peak, occupying a vast area. The architecture was ancient yet graceful, and the courtyard was filled with rare flora, presenting a picturesque view.
As soon as he stepped inside, Ethan Smith sensed sothing unusual but had no ti to ask before a series of furious roars echoed through the air.
Ethan Smith frowned slightly and asked, “What’s that sound?”
Williams Saintess chuckled and replied, “Saint Harris has a hobby of raising all kinds of rare beasts.”
“Rare beasts?” Ethan Smith was taken aback and couldn’t help but mutter, “What an unusual fetish.”
Once inside, everything was as Williams Saintess had described. The place housed hundreds of rare beasts, each imnsely valuable!
Ethan Smith was secretly astonished. Sweeping his gaze casually, he spotted several extrely precious beasts.
“Flying Winged Dragon?” Ethan Smith hadn’t walked more than two steps before spotting a particularly fierce demonic beast. Its muscular arms looked imnsely powerful, its aura formidable.
“Nine-headed Lion? Azure Water Dragon?” The more Ethan Smith looked, the more amazed he beca. The rare beasts Saint Harris was raising were exceptionally ferocious and uncommon!
Saint Harris waved dismissively and said, “It’s nothing special. I had soone bring them out from Azure Rock Forest. Later, I’ll butcher one and roast it!”
Ethan Smith couldn’t help but grimace inwardly.
This Saint Harris treated these rare beasts as ordinary livestock, even considering them food. His extravagance was beyond comprehension.
“The demon race is about to erge. When they find out about this, they surely won’t let you off the hook,” Ethan Smith said, shaking his head.
Saint Harris grinned and said, “That’s why I need to eat them all up before the demon race surfaces, so they won’t know anything.”
Ethan Smith couldn’t help but feel conflicted. Saint Harris’s way of thinking was truly unorthodox.
Though these beasts were incredibly ferocious, their intelligence was not particularly advanced, completely different from the demon race birthed in the depths of Azure Rock Forest. They appeared no better than ordinary livestock instead.
That evening, Saint Harris roasted an Azure Water Dragon and invited Ethan Smith and Williams Saintess to feast together.
The at of this rare beast was exceptionally tender, brimming with spiritual energy. Its taste was indescribably delightful.
In addition, Saint Harris brought out a particularly rare jug of Drunken Dragon Wine, inviting Ethan Smith and Williams Saintess to drink with him.
The Drunken Dragon Wine glimred like a jewel, exuding a rich aroma. Upon sipping it, one could feel the echo of a Dragon Chant in their mouth, as though entering a lair of dragons and tigers—truly intoxicating.
Ethan Smith, after taking a sip, marveled, “The reputation of this wine is well deserved. I didn’t expect you to have hidden such a treat.”
Saint Harris chuckled and said, “I only collect fine treasures when I’m bored. This jug of Drunken Dragon Wine wasn’t easy to get my hands on.”
Williams Saintess delicately took a sip and praised, “This wine is truly exquisite. Perhaps only immortals can enjoy such delicacies.”
“Tsk tsk, who’d have thought Saint Harris would be so generous,” Ethan Smith said, half-jokingly, half-seriously.
Saint Harris waved dismissively and said, “It’s nothing. If I don’t drink it soon, it’ll spoil, and then I’ll have to give it to the livestock. Might as well let you two have it.”
“You son of—” Ethan Smith couldn’t help but mutter a curse, while Williams Saintess chuckled beside him.
After three rounds of wine, Williams Saintess suddenly brought up a new topic, asking, “What are your thoughts about the demon race from the depths of Azure Rock Forest?”
The atmosphere imdiately turned heavy at the ntion of this.
Especially Ethan Smith, whose expression grew noticeably tense.
“That person’s power is significant; he killed multiple heirs in one move and even escaped under the siege of several elders. His strength is undoubtedly on par with ours,” Saint Harris said in a serious tone.
Williams Saintess nodded in agreent, adding, “The depths of Azure Rock Forest are incredibly mysterious. It’s said to hide endless ancient tombs with imnse resources. After so many years, no one knows what kind of monsters lie hidden there.”
Saint Harris shrugged and said, “Even a True Saint entering could die, which proves that the depths contain beings stronger than True Saints. If they take action, it’ll be a real problem.”
“Not necessarily,” Williams Saintess said. “The ability to kill True Saints doesn’t an there’s soone surpassing that realm. Perhaps it’s due to formations, powerful magical artifacts, or even residual souls of ancient demon race ancestors. But these things may beco useless once they step out of Azure Rock Forest.”
“Williams Saintess is right. If they truly had that level of power, they’d have acted long ago. There’d be no need for so much trouble,” Ethan Smith quickly added.
Saint Harris waved his hand and said, “Why worry about it now? Live one day at a ti. If that day cos, we can deal with it then.”
