“Ethan Smith!” Salena Carpenter, who witnessed this scene, beca even more anxious, as she couldn’t possibly abandon Ethan.
Thus, without a second thought, she imdiately followed close behind.
The third princess on the ground was already scared witless, while the underground disturbances were intensifying, on the verge of erupting for the second ti.
Ethan stepped on the line word formula, rushing towards the third princess at incredible speed!
“Buzz!”
At the sa ti, the second eruption on the ground had begun!
Terrible energy burst forth from the ground, even more violent than the first ti, with an even more terrifying force!
“Boom!”
Columns of light exploded and soared towards the third princess!
Ethan’s face paled. In his haste, he grabbed the third princess and lifted her with both hands!
Simultaneously, a Golden Light emanated from Ethan, and powerful qi enveloped him like a layer of armor!
For Salena Carpenter, who had intended to rush over, it was obviously too late. She could only stand high in the air, staring intently at Ethan!
“Salena, catch her!” Ethan roared, exerting force with his hands to toss the third princess up into the air!
With Ethan’s power, the third princess was flung high into the sky, but Ethan wasn’t so lucky, as the columns of light struck his back, unleashing a terrifying force!
“Boom!”
In a flash, the area was turned to ashes, and smoke obscured the view, making it impossible to see what had happened!
Embracing the third princess, Salena Carpenter stared intently at Ethan’s location with a pale face!
“Ethan Smith!” Salena shouted, worry filling her heart and igniting her anger!
“It’s all your fault!” Salena Carpenter glared at the third princess with gritted teeth, “I’m telling you, if anything happens to Ethan, I’ll tear you to pieces!”
Not daring to say more, the third princess unconsciously looked towards Ethan’s direction. Even as selfish as she had always been, she showed a rare trace of worry.
As the smoke gradually dispersed, the scene below was finally revealed to Salena.
Ethan’s body had been enveloped in golden light, but under the powerful energy impact, the golden light had shattered, and nurous wounds had appeared on his body.
“Ethan Smith!”
Salena, unable to care about anything else, hurriedly rushed towards Ethan.
Ethan shook his body and stood up from the ground, feeling a faint pain in his back.
“Thankfully, I’m fine,” Ethan said, turning around.
Although his back was covered in bloody wounds, it hadn’t hard him fundantally, so it wasn’t a big issue.
Salena quickly raised her hand and placed it on Ethan’s body, transferring qi into him.
“I’m fine,” Ethan shook his head, “we need to leave quickly. No one can guarantee there won’t be a third eruption.”
Salena nodded, glared at the third princess, and scolded her: “You’re lucky!”
Without saying more, Ethan quickly headed for the distance according to the direction he had deduced.
Salena picked up the third princess and followed closely behind.
This strange land made Ethan still feel that countless auras in the shadows were staring at him.
However, when Ethan tried to investigate, the auras couldn’t be pinpointed to any specific location.
“These auras are probably not entities,” thought Ethan.
It could even be said that these auras were not from individual people at all but were generated by the land itself, just like the birth of the green terrifying creatures amidst the demonic qi before.
After a long ti, the surrounding auras finally dimd a bit, but the wounds on Ethan’s back still bled profusely.
“Let’s rest for a bit,” Salena said with furrowed brows.
Though the wounds were not fundantally damaging, if left bleeding, they could beco problematic.
Seeing no danger around, Ethan nodded in agreent.
He sat cross-legged on the ground, slowly adjusting his qi.
Salena walked over to Ethan’s back and transferred her extraordinary qi into him to help him recover.
As the wounds began to heal, the pain spread throughout his body.
Ethan couldn’t help but gasp, his face covered in sweat.
“Hiss!”
Ethan took a deep breath, trying to endure the pain.
From a distance, the third princess lying on the ground watched Ethan quietly.
There was confusion in her eyes, as if she couldn’t understand why Ethan saved her.
After a long ti, Ethan’s injuries began to heal slowly, and Salena stopped transferring her qi.
“If you ever do this again, I’ll kill you!” Salena waved her small fists and threatened him angrily.
Ethan laughed, “See, I’m fine.”
“Too late if you weren’t! You’re just crazy!” Salena muttered with great annoyance.
After finishing, she brought the third princess over, standing beside Ethan, vigilantly watching their surroundings like a bodyguard.
Ethan closed his eyes slightly, adjusting his qi.
“Why did you save ?” The third princess couldn’t help but ask.
Ethan glanced at her and said, “I promised Elder Wilson that I wouldn’t harm your life.”
“Just because you promised him?” The third princess furrowed her eyebrows.
“What else?” Ethan retorted.
The third princess opened her mouth but didn’t know what to say for a mont.
While living on West Desert Island for many years, the third princess never kept any promises, and it seed like everyone in the world was the sa to her.
But today, Ethan had risked his life to save hers, which seed to have shattered her existing beliefs.
After a while, Ethan’s wounds had mostly healed.
He stood up from the ground and said, “Salena, let’s go.”
Salena nodded and said in a deep voice, “This place is strange, so let’s be careful.”
At this mont, Ethan had a different thought, “If this place is indeed filled with danger, why would those creatures choose this side instead of the safer area on the opposite bank?”
“And, the skeletal remains in that house seem to have no injuries and faded away on the spot. Doesn’t that indicate that the real danger is hiding on the other side?”
Ethan’s words left Salena sowhat bewildered.
She waved her hand impatiently, “What are you talking about? I don’t understand and don’t want to listen. Just don’t let anything happen.”
Ethan chuckled without speaking, but in fact, he had already harbored such a thought.
The sky-high columns of light appearing extrely terrifying and easily breaking through Ethan and Salena’s defenses. But when they were truly impacted, the damage wasn’t as terrifying as imagined.
